obailala:So you believe Ben Bruce is or was bankrupt that's y he couldn't repay the loan? He was working with the mentality of Govt money bin free money. If not for this Govt, Bruce would never have repaid that loan again. |
bloodkiIler:I watch over your gate, yet you call me Oga and bow for me always |
obailala:Is that how a business man with excess of common sense behaves? How long will it take him to have repaid the loan? You borrow N11Billion for years, and u make no effort to even repay a dine? Where does that happen? The main issue is that if Jonathan had won d election, no one would have heard of this case, and Bruce would never have repaid the loan. At the end the loan would have been written off as bad debt. |
Have you noticed that since AMCON exposed the debt anus of the self-acclaimed common-sense Senator, that he hasn't been making further common sense on issues in the polity? These are the kinds of activists and advocates they boast of;so dirty, so corrupt, yet claiming sainthood. Atleast let our airspace enjoy some relief from the Bruce-Air-Pollution.

The Eleme Youth Council (EYC), in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, has denied claims by a militant group in the Niger Delta region, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) that it blew up a pipeline belonging to one of the multinational oil companies operating in the area. The NDA had in a statement posted on its Facebook page, Niger Delta Avengers on Wednesday, claimed responsibility for blowing up a Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC) pipeline at Eleme, leading to the Nigeria Liquefied National Gas (NLNG) in Bonny Island. “By 3.00 am, yesterday, Strike Team 2, carried out a major strike, bombing NNPC pipeline at Eleme leading to NLNG. You won’t stop us,” the group had said. But speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday, President of EYC, Prince Brian Emere Gokpa, described the report by the militant group as a figment of the imagination of mischief makers, who want to portray Eleme in bad light. He said, “The attention of Eleme Youth Council World-wide has been drawn to an online publication that the Niger Delta Avengers blew up pipelines in Eleme local government area. This information is not true; it is unfounded and baseless. It is the imagination of mischief makers whose aim is to project Eleme as a terrible local government area.” The EYC President also called on youths in the area to embrace peace and abstain from criminal activities, saying, “Eleme local government area is relatively peaceful and no person or group of persons should give false alarm about security situation in the area. “Let me use this medium to warn all criminal elements in the area to desist from such acts as the council and the youth body will not fold their hands and watch miscreants take over our local government area as we have the capacity to confront any crime in Eleme local government area.” Source: dailypost.ng/2016/07/08/niger-delta-avengers-lied-no-attack-on-oil-installations-in-our-community-eleme-youths/ |

The General Overseer of Victory Assembly Ministry (VAM), Bishop Jonathan Eze has cautioned Niger Delta militants to stop blowing up oil pipelines or face the wrath of God. Eze gave the warning in an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Owerri. The Bishop was reacting to the incessant attacks on oil pipelines by the new militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). According to the general overseer, who is also a UN Peace Ambassador, the avengers are incurring the wrath of God by their activities. ``The Avengers are not fighting a just cause because their activities are affecting and threatening the peace of the nation. ``Nigerian oil is a natural gift from God and nobody has the right to destroy it,’’ he said. Eze added that if the Avengers were aggrieved over any issue, they should address it in a civil manner rather than threaten the country. He said if the country must remain one, no group should threaten the peaceful existence of the nation in the name of militancy. Eze also blamed Niger Delta leaders for allowing the situation to ``get out of hand’’. ``The leaders in the Niger Delta region are to be blamed because they are the people that groomed the militants and they should call them to order. ``How can there be governors, senators, traditional rulers and other top government officials from the region; and yet they cannot caution their children from destroying government assets,’’ he said. According to him, spiritual leaders will no longer seat back to watch militants destroy the country. ``If the militants do not stop this madness, we will fight them spiritually and subdue them,” he said. The clergyman, however, encouraged the Federal Government to take a critical look into the issue and handle it with diplomacy. If the news that the Chief Judge of Abia State,Justice Theresa Uzoamaka Uzokwe has gone into hiding immediately she heard that INEC has issued certificate of return to the new Governor of the state is true as reported by Sahara Reporters, then we are in a big mess as a country. This clearly shows the level of partisanship and unprofessionalism shown by some so-called respected members of our judiciary. This is a woman that was supposed to do justice to all manners of people, including Dr.Ogah Anyway, let's all begin the search for her. She must return from her hiding to swear in the new governor as soon as possible. Or the new Governor should make plans to import another Chief Judge from a neighbouring state to administer the oath of office on him.

When former president Jonathan sacked resident doctors He wasn't a tyrant, but now Buhari is. Who will cure our hypocrisy as a nation? www.premiumtimesng.com/news/166732-shocking-jonathan-sacks-16000-resident-doctors-in-nigeria.html |
The freezing of Gov.Fayose's Account has been a
course of serious debate in out polity since
yesterday.
To many, Fayose is the first incumbent Governor
whose account is been frozen even with his
immunity.
Or Ekiti State is the first state that the EFCC is
freezing her account.
Or perhaps its under Buhari that a state
Governor/Government's account is been frozen.
I got this evidence from the archives:
www.premiumtimesng.com/news/163236-efcc-
froze-adamawas-account.html
Sadly enough, where were Nigerians then?
Where were those who are now praising Fayose
and pouring abuses on Buhari?
That happened under Jonathan's EFCC.
Was Jonathan also a tyrant?
Was he also using the EFCC to persecute the
opposition and his perceived political enemies.
Was any APC Governor then perfectly behaving
like Fayose is doing now?
Its amazing the way we claim to have forgotten
things in this country.
Some day ahead, if a sitting Governor's plane is
been grounded, if the president visits a state and
deliberately snubs the sitting Governor and
instead follows a group of His party leaders in
the state, if the president deliberately refuses to
do anything for an entire state because of
perceived enmity between the state governor
and him, if the president refuses to refund
monies spent on federal roads back to a sitting
governor that people think he is having
problems with, if the president shares ecological
funds to only Governors under his political
platform, if the president refuses to clean up an
oil-polluted area because a slain hero of the
tribe refused to grant him scholarship abroad or
if the president openly supports the evil that 16
is greater than 19 in an election, Nigerians will
certainly know what to say.
Nigerians are indeed a special breed of people.
Call Buhari whatever you choose, the truth
remains that nothing is new in this country of
ours.
If it was good for the goose,(Murtala Nyako and
his Adamawa State for the same reason),let it
also be good for the gander (Ayodele Fayose and his Ekiti State). |

The Rivers State House of Assembly has authorised the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, to access a N14.16bn Federal Government Budget Support Facility. The 14 lawmakers, who were present at Tuesday’s plenary unanimously gave the approval based on the request of the state governor. Wike who had written a letter to the House through the Speaker, Dabotoru Dima, explained that the approval would enable his administration to sustain the payment of salaries to civil servants and pensioners. The governor had said in the letter that his administration had not accessed the N10bn earlier approved by the House as bailout. He, however, added that the N14.16bn was to be collected in three tranches with nine percent one year moratorium, if approved by the state legislature. The letter indicated that the loan would be secured on future dividends or funds accruing to the state from the Federal Government. Reports have it that the Rivers State Governor, Chief Barr.Nyesom Wike has secured another 14.6 billion naira loan today. This is coming barely two weeks after He first secured the bailout funds of N10billion from the federal government. So far, Gov.Wike has now taken N119.6Billion in less than 13 months in office. This is an average of N310 Million borrowed every single day since he stole power on the most bloody path ever. This figure is minus over N130.7 Billion He has got from federal allocation, and over N108billion worth of IGR and other sources of revenue to the state. Meanwhile, as Gov.Wike continues to become the new Donatus of the PDP, sponsoring almost all PDP events including the just concluded Edo Governorship Primaries, Rivers Workers and pensioners are still been owed for months. Sadly enough, Rivers state would be paying about N11.9 billion every month on loans alone. Nigerians please come to our rescue, we're finished! Meanwhile for those who may be discarding this information because a newspaper source isn't attached, kindly keep it remembered, when the reports get published by the media houses, I will post it here for confirmation. #PrayForRiversState

bejeiodus:PDP crisis to end soon? Bros is too late to be sleeping by now na. Its Sheriff or PDP is buried forever. That's the only solution as far as Sheriff is alive. And will the anti-Sheriff elements accept this ugly solution? As for Obaseki been a neophyte, I don't knw how you arrived at that. But from my political experience I know no politician is an island. They are all neophytes to some secret or open political heavy heights. |
That the biggest party in the world is in an extinction crisis isn't news any longer. What is pertinent is a review or an update on the chaotic situation in the party. 1. The Makarfi faction has sold govenorship forms to three candidates for N16Million each. 2. The Makarfi-led faction has also set up an electoral committee headed by former Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswan to conduct the party's primary election. 3. The primaries of the party is tentatively slated for tomorrow (Makarfi faction). 4. The Sheriff faction has set up His own electoral committee headed by Senator Hope Uzodinma to oversee the Edo State governorship primary and congresses for the forthcoming election. 5. The cost of the Sheriff-led PDP Governorship form is N10million. 6.INEC is yet to recognise any faction in PDP national leadership tussle. 7.There are several pending litigations in Portharcourt and Abuja High Courts. 8. Political thugs fighting for both Sheriff and Makarfi continue their attempts to take over the Wadata Plaza in the midst of a second closure order by the Police IG. 9. I suspect that by tomorrow,Sheriff will secure another court injunction stopping or nullifying the Makarfi-led primaries tomorrow in Edo State. 10.Finally, PDP may not participate in the 2016 Edo State Governorship Election. So for me, its a big Congratulations to Mr.Godwin Obaseki, The Edo State Governor in-waiting.

The governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has been sued over his decision to join workers of the state’s civil service in their industrial action. A lawyer, Kabir Akingbolu, who sued the governor before a Federal High Court in Lagos, argued that Mr. Fayose’s decision amounted to abdication of duties. “Considering the provision of Section 176 subsection 1 and 2 of the Constitution whether the abdication of duty by the 1st Defendant in reckless abandonment is not a violation of Oath of office taken by him as Governor of Ekiti,” Mr. Akingbolu stated in his originating summons. Joined as defendants in the suit are the state’s Attorney General, Accountant- General of the Federation, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Mr. Fayose had announced in a televised broadcast his decision to join the workers’ indefinite strike in solidarity. The workers are being owed five months salaries. “I want to tell workers that I have placed myself on indefinite strike in solidarity with you,” Mr. Fayose was quoted as saying. “I have shared your pains, but it was rather unfortunate that a man can’t give what he doesn’t have. “I have told you the true position of the finances of the state, of which you had played critical roles in allocation to relevant sectors which shows how well I had carried you along since the dwindling revenue to the state commenced.” But the workers responded by telling him to pay their salaries rather that engaging in the solidarity strike. In his court papers, Mr. Akingbolu sought an order of the court declaring that Mr. Fayose has lost his position as governor “having failed to transmit power to his deputy as envisaged by the constitution”. He also sought, among others, an order directing President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a state of emergency in Ekiti State “to avert breaking down of law and order, since there is a vacuum in governance.” Source: www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/205331-fayose-sued-joining-ekiti-workers-strike.html

The All Progressives Congress (APC) said on Tuesday it has nothing to do with the leadership crisis currently rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying the party was suffering from the sins of the past. The party was reacting to allegations by the Senator Ahmed Makarfi- led faction of the party blaming the Presidency and the APC for the leadership crisis. Media reports on Tuesday quoted the Makarfi- led Caretaker Committee of the PDP as accusing the APC and the Presidency of being behind the Ali Modu Sherrif faction of the PDP ostensibly to ensure that the PDP is in perpetual crisis and unable to produce credible candidates for the forthcoming governorship elections in Edo and Ondo States. In a statement signed by its National Secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, the APC said: “For the umpteenth time, the APC wishes to state that instead of joining issues with the baseless and laughable allegations, the APC would rather join issues on matter that will bring about all-inclusive development to the country. “However, it should be put on record that the PDP forced on itself whatever crisis it is troubled with today due to its politics of imposition and other undemocratic practices which the APC abhors. “The PDP should put its house in order rather than playing to the gallery and blaming others but themselves for their sins which has come to hunt them. Also, it is evident that the PDP has chosen to employ diversionary tactics because of its inability to produce credible candidates for the forthcoming elections in Edo and Ondo States.” Source: thenationonlineng.net/pdp-suffering-past-sins-apc/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |

Gov. Dickson's Desperation To Remain In Office Assumes New Height, Chases Tribunal Judges With N5 Billion The desperate bid of the Bayelsa state governor, Henry Seriake Dickson to perpetuate his state in office, has taken a new dimension. A scoop from a source in Dickson's camp has revealed that Dickson is not leaving anything to chance, as he has vowed to get a pliant ruling from the Bayelsa election petition tribunal. According to our source, the Ijebu-born governor was miffed with the leaked story of how Chief George Allen Fente was mandated to buy the conscience of the tribunal judges. But that has not dissuaded him from continuing with his mission to procure a favorable judgment at whatever cost. He has adopted a new strategy, which is to engage the service of an Appeal court judge. To achieve this objective, Hon. Justice Moore Adumein (JCA) of the court of Appeal, an Ogbia man, has been contacted to reachout to the judges on Dickson's behalf. The sum of 5billion naira has been set aside to achieve this purpose. Our source hinted that Dickson, has become so obsessed with the tribunal victory, that nothing else matters to him. An evident reason why the state has taken a nose dive into its worst state ever.
