I'm not saying it's directly related to HSE. Primavera opens the door to a whole lot of other possibilities. It's almost like developing a new career path. Depending on which background a person is coming from, the person can relate with it in one way or the other. From the biggest construction project you can think of physically to something as abstract, vague or intangible as a new software idea to be developed, Primavera covers them all. You can monitor everything in the process. From costs, manpower and resource management to risks and monitoring, the software can be used to design the template from start to finish. Let me stop...seems I''m getting carried away lol grin . I believe Mr. Success can enlighten us more on this smiley
lol DrDre1..
Am still trying to Understands dis wonderful software.
I read it online that this software is superb in management, enterprise, cost control, analyzer, among others.
...
although it wont be difficult to comprehend as this package related to MS Excel like U said.

Learning Continues...............

That's different from the one by PMI, right? Any certification is okay for starters as far it's from a reputable institution but the main thing is the level of performance in terms of practicability. The PMI one is most recognized in these parts but even then, many people don't have that. The people I know who work as Project Planners haven't gone for PMP lectures talkless of certification. They only went for Primavera software trainings, watched lots of youtube videos and landed good offers. smiley
just a slight different. Almost all management certificates is inline with other.
NIM, PMPI, PMP, PMI and IPMP
i have NIM and also planning to take IPMP.

in a nutshell
if one can have basic knowledge of Primavera P6 software couple with MS Excel.
Chances are there in Qatar for such person in securing good and well paying Job?

And aslo
I am good in Data Processing with the use of Excel and accuracy in computation....
Any vacancies on this area?
Thanks for the swift replies.

Yes ma'am. Wish I could be of help beyond this. If he was in Qatar with that, it would have been a sealed deal. That's why I asked him to just try if they can consider him there. Something I've noticed over time is that wages are quite lower in U.A.E compared to Qatar. Some of the companies from U.A.E come here with that kind of plan but I don't miss the chance to tell them to their face that we play by different rules here in Qatar.

By the way, for anyone in these parts or planning to come down, you can start taking intensive trainings in Project Management. If you can have 25%-30% of how to use Primavera P6 software, you will be smiling to the bank soon grin grin
interestingly..
Thanks for the info.
I hope IPMP is recognized globally?.
International Project Management Professional?

Learning Primavera P6 software?
Smiling to bank soon..
In dubai or qatar?

They have to start somewhere,Not all Filipinos and other nationals do good jobs, you can never see a Nigerian working as a Maid but all maids if not 95% in the UAE are Filipinos. The so called security jobs Nigerians are doing and you are talking about, that gives them up to #200,000 as monthly salary and most of them with Transportation and Accommodation inclusive.

Who pays that much in Nigeria for someone without even Waec certificate.

Here you can see a guy/lady working as sales, security, waitress without O level certificate and the salary can never be compared to Nigeria.

That security you see there, next time you come on holiday in maybe months or 1 year, you can go find out about him and you will be told he has resigned for a better job.

Rome wasn't built in a day. They pay securities in Nigeria #15,000(from this same money he will pay transport to work and feeding) tell me how much he gets at the end of the day.

Any job here is better than in Nigeria. The most important thing 'Don't be illegal. Whatever your hand find, do it well and with all your heart and keep pushing for better tomorrow.

Ask those Filipinos when they moved to Dubai, some were here even before they built Burj Khalifa smiley and the likes, so tell me why they won't be working with Emirates Airline(Hello Tomorrow) smiley

Dubai is all about Gulf Experience, once you have started from somewhere and you are focused and also work towards it without relenting then the sky will be your stepping stone.

On a lighter note, allow them to enjoy their various jobs if need be.
