Doctor Strange 2 [because I don’t want to type the long title] 6.8/10

After indulging in spoilers, everything in the movie looked like a rehash of various YouTube clips. This is the last time I’ll ever dilly dally before watching a Marvel movie. I saw one spoiler clip from No Way Home and ran to the cinema so I won’t spoil the experience beforehand. With this the spoilers were a rabbit hole I couldn’t struggle out of. I paid the price with reduced excitement during action scenes.

Without spoilers it was a true 7.8/10 experience with entertainment all around. I liked how Raimi focused more on characters emotional states throughout the movie’s runtime — these made the classic Spider-Man trilogy the golden age superhero movies which defined my early adulthood.

The movie brought memories through reminiscent scenes of every horror movie I enjoyed as a teenager; Poltergeist, The Exorcist, Terminator, Evil Dead, etc. It even had Bruce Campbell as a cameo to satiate fans of Raimi’s most famous movie series.

All in all I highly recommend the film. It was not a No Way Home nor as enjoyable as the first Doctor Strange movie, however you will never go wrong from watching it.

Cinema dubs nowadays are really good. Theatre screen pictures look as good as large TV sets these days so there is no problem of spots brighter than others in a scene. This reflects very well in cam recorded videos. Apart from the lack of clear sound and occasional loss of camera focus for whatever reason, I may start indulging in the offerings. I used the restroom twice during my screening so depended on the cam rip available online to fill me in on lost scenes. The video and audio quality were very decent. I was impressed.

I hope it’s not the one we’ll hear of infidelity down the line. All those them Seyi Shay no dey look these kind men with normal eye.
