Thanks gaily04! That's why I love this thread o. Na to shine eyes check best before date when buying diapers ni yen. If you are an expecting mom and you are still on peeping mode, you are on a loooong thing ![]() |
@jesusbaby1 why now? You are supposed to receive anti-malarial drugs (you are supposed to have completed the dose sef) to protect you and your baby. Malaria in pregnancy can lead to death. TT injections (tetanus) is given to a woman of child bearing age. You are to receive 5injections. Although I am not sure if there is a time limit to when you can start, but you are meant to receive the first 2 in your pregnancy and the subsequent ones some months after delivery. I.e TT1, TT2 4weeks after TT1, TT3 6months after TT2 etc. |
Gaily04:Oh really? But what can happen if a diaper goes beyond its best before date? Any idea? I understand that for wipes, they might lose moisture, abi? |
eigmaticme:Yaaay! Team September's first team pink*****party mood*** congratulations Use the list attached as a guide. For diapers, id suggest not to buy plenty ooo..cos diapers is the most received gift after child birth.. My sister's supply lasted one year! Dem no dey expire, but you would need to know your baby's weight to know what size to buy. Modified: diapers and wipes have best before dates.

Good news for mamas that cannot swallow their routine prenatal drugs!!!! Pregnacare apparently comes in a liquid form too. Just saw it today at my neighborhood pharmacy.
|
chigirl45:I just came from Alpha. Letrozole is 2k per satchet of 14tabs. But femara a more expensive brand is 9800 for a satchet.

Mitchyy that's the way to go. Me im planning to raid my sister's house to get my nephews stuff for Ayomide. Then I'd buy what is left. Unfortunately for me, no one has asked or volunteered to buy my baby stuff |
Double Congratulations olubankemi. I thought about you on Saturday oo and I wanted to ask here but dint want to seem like I was putting pressure on you. I remember just like yesterday when you announced your bfp on the ttc thread. May God that did this for you and me do same for the rest of our TTC sisters. |
ozycy:Oh ok. Thanks, wildo just that. |
feddy27:My doc accepts tests from Naija, so im planning to get as much done here as I can. Thanks dear. |
ekeminiabasi:thanks dear. How's your LO? |

The routine drugs is for everyday of your pregnancy. If you have not started already please do. Check the contents of your pregnacare plus. It should already contain b vitamins |
Better divorced than dead. |
feddy27 Ehen. That's why I was asking if its done in Naija. I remember asking my doctor about rubella test the guy just yimu give me. ![]() |
@peddylove yes o! All these 'cant stand for more than 5mins gist' is scary. Me I'm just praying for money seriously now so I can start buying small small |
Britneystacy I don't want to believe Godmother hasn't taken any drugs till now. I think she's just referring to all them pregnacare and tinz. After all, the doctor prescribed folic acid for one month in the early pregnancy (im not sure why he only prescribed for one month tho, maybe you were meant to see him after a month for more supplies)... Godmother I hope you at least took the folic acid that was given you then? We've been singing the 'make sure you take your prenatals song' on here since but people just no wan listen. I don't know which one is worse, your hatred for drugs or watching your new born baby suffer as you run from one hospital to the other. May this not be our portion by God's grace. |
ozycy:Ok, cool. Thanks. No one is diabetic in my family although my sis developed gestational diabetes with her last kid. Id talk to my doc about it this week at my ANC. |
zaynie:Ok I get... So the urine/protein test equates to glucose tolerance test? I just read about it on my oyinbo pregnancy tracker and the process involves drinking something sugary and waiting for one hour before they draw your blood sample to check how your body processes sugar. |
chigirl45: Duakkie:Someone answered you already. If you click on my previous posts you'd see what I used for detoxification (same thing as fertility cleanse). |
Biko experienced moms and moms that are in 3rd trimester, does our naija hospitals carry out routine glucose tolerance test? Used to check for gestational diabetes in mums. Zaynie, ozycy kaffy4bill Amhappy congratulations to your Bil. |
esof1:I hope so too. I hope that you have at least gotten all the necessary vitamins from your daily meals. |
These june mamas na una small pass but na una complain pass See me already fearing 3rd trimester May God see us all through this wonderful journey with our LOs in our arms at the end In Jesus name, Amen. Fellow September mamas, if you can please do start shopping oooo. Divide the list into priority and shop for items small small now we are still in the fun 2nd trimester stage. Cos all these 3rd trimester wahala might not be nice to now add stress of walking around the market looking for baby items. #September for supernatural delivery |
mkoabiola:Please ask her on the phone to go and register for antenatal!!! At 18weeks she's supposed to have started her tetanus injections and anti-malarial drugs. I hope she has been taking her drugs, spinal bifida is real. There are apps you can download on your phone to track your baby's progess too. E.g the bump, pregnology.com. This is an excerpt from pregnology: http://www.pregnology.com/Pregnancy/week/18 |
chigirl45:There are different brands... Prices from 3k |
Shioor! |
afezy110:Awwwwww. Such a foul mouth on a fresh faced lil kid. Face your studies and become something in life..there's a kind of handsomeness that comes with wealth (Google old pictures of Timaya.... cos you probably weren't born when he started singing).... |
@Fruitfulhome MFI means male factor infertility i.e the cause of infertility is the man. I suggest your hubby sees a urologist to trace the source of the sperm issues. It might just be as a result of infections.... You can just do ewedu therapy (please search for it) or eat cabbages to help with the breast discharge. |
May mamas dropping LOs back to back! Congrats humbledbygrace and modupeaderonke September mamas get ready ooo cos na so we go dey drop LOs. #sexyborningtinz #september4supernaturaldelivery |
