I was actually diagonis with blocked fallopian tube, I mean the two are actually block,
I had abortion In 2016 only to end up bleeading for seven months I went to hospital almost 8times to clear retain product,each time I go to hospital they must say theirs retain product, at a point I stop going,cus each time I go they always insert cannula from the smallest to the biggest,long story short I bleed for 7month,infact I almost died from it,since den I av been trying to conceive to no avail,maybe theirs a problem from all the stuffs they are inserting to drain out all my retain product,and I remembered vividly I never used any form of antibiotics during those bleesing days. Till it finally stopped bit self,since then I av been ttc, it took this long bcus of my non chalant attitude,I never bothered for once,but now it's eating me up,my first husband left me for this reason of infertility and he was the one I aborted for den,we were both serving den,NYSC, so we felt it's not yet time to av a child,that was the reason for the abortion,we got engaged after engagement till now no preg, we separated last year July due to my inability to conciev... Now I have found another man,I am scared of taking the relationship to the next stage,cus I know I am not sure of my fertility status
And I remembered back dem with my ex,anytime we have fun the sperm leaks out with immediate effect.

You already know this forum is supposed to be a judgement free safe space/support group for people going through the very difficult phase of trying to conceive. You should also know that Nigerians generally lack empathy so people will still judge you and there's nothing you can do about it.
The problem with your guns blazing "curse" approach is you've given the trolls amour to quote you and try to get to you. In all the years ive been on this group, you aren't the first to openly acknowledge having an abortion but so far you're the only one ive seen trolls openly judge.
Hopefully you see my message before replying him, dont reply him. Ignore the post. His input doesnt solve the issues that needs to be solved.


First things first, make peace with yourself and whichever higher power you believe in.

Go see a doctor and run comprehensive tests. HSG, Hormonal profile, maybe a laparoscopy to check health of the reproductive organs.
Did your ex do a SFA in the period you were trying to conceive? The fact that he impregnated you before doesnt mean his sperm count cant reduce.

Anyways, if after doing all the tests (including an SFA for your partner) and its determined there's an issue, id advice you be forthcoming with your partner. If he is truly meant for you he'd stay and you guys will seek other means of conceiving. IVF, surrogacy etc.

Also, be more intentional about your health.

Genetics have a huge role to play in this aspect so id say if she's healthy and the baby is eating well and gaining weight let her be.

Fibroids too can be the cause of the blockage and only a myomectomy can solve that.
You both need to work with a seasoned gynecologist to solve these issues....don't even think of IVF cos with fibroids and endo success rate will be very low.

Now we are ready to start trying again since her body has fully recovered,my question now is do I need to take addyzoa all over or just try and see what happens this month??

Continue with your supplements...it takes approximately 90days for the effects of the drugs to be seen.
Your wife can also go on pregnacare conception.

Pls my people, I need serious advice. It's been 3years we got married. Wife went for hsg and result is bilateral tubal occlusion. When I googled it means block tube. Wife said doctor said way out is IVF n me I don't have that money for IVF. Is there any drugs that is trusted to clear the blockage. Infact I feel cheated n sad. We are both almost 40.

There isn't any drug per se but there has been a series of procedures that people have done and cleared the blockage.

A combination of

Did the arm implant too for a year,the only thing I loved about it was the no period thing or if it will even show,na spotting which will last for just a day but men,I increased oh so had to take it out and switch to pills. For the pills,one has to take at a particular time. For me my alarm was set at 6pm,that was the time I choose for the pills and it did well for me.

I can imagine me adding more weight on the implant.
The pills are hormonal too and that daily pill at an exact time will be almost impossible for me.

I can relate to this mama. I did the arm implant (implanon) three months after the birth of my baby, and instead of adding weight because I seriously want to add up, I noticed that I am losing weight instead. When I complained to my doctor, she said body differs.

What methods are we using and can we share our personal experiences?

I've tried IUCD 3 times and all 3 times the coil dislodges by itself almost immediately. First 2 times was after my first child so after I took it out I decided to use Billings method + withdrawal + occasional morning after pill. It worked for 4 years until I was ready for baby number 2.
Third time was after my second and this time I definitely knew the coil had disloodged cos I would occasionally feel it in my Vag. And it also almost killed my libido

Now I'm considering the arm implant but my worries is I've not returned to my pre-pregnancy weight (I'm actually very far away from it) and I know hormonal contraceptive makes a good number of people add weight but I've recently just heard from a guy that his wife lost weight while using the arm implant.

How are you feeling today? Is your supply better? If not please switch to formula for your baby, giving your baby formula doesn't make you a bad mother. All that matters is for you to be strong and available for your baby.
Have the boils healed? A doctor needs to recommend antibiotics for it and ensure everybody touching the baby washes their hands first.
I hope your husband has spoken to his mother to stop stressing you.

Is your mom alive and able to come be with you or you both move to her location so she can take care of you and the baby. Find things that make you relax/happy and do them. And if you have someone you can talk to please confide in them.

Not quite.....
Considering you didn't get a positive on the blood test initially, you might not be as far along as you think.
Give it some more weeks and rescan.
Get cyclogest pessarries (progesterone) for the spotting.
To calm your mind, you can do BetaHCG to confirm the pregnancy is progressing.

I'm sorry ma, but expecting to get pregnant in 1 cycle in a year is putting too much pressure on yourself.
If he's coming for just one cycle again and funds are not too plenty I suggest you do these.
-Do HSG to confirm your tubes are open.
-Look for a hospital that will do IUI and freeze his sperm too.
-Let him do an SFA where he is and take fertility supplements.
-Prepare your body prior to his arrival, detox, diet and lifestyle changes and take your supplements.
-When he comes you guys just enjoy yourselves and get your mind off TTC but BD everyother day after your period ends. Don't stand up afterwards for at least an hour.
Then when he's about to leave, he can deposit his sperm at the fertility clinic for your IUI (only after you've ascertained your tubes are open else IVF will be the option)

Good day Mamas,

I don't know if I should be concerned or not , it is about my daughter weight, at birth she weigh 1.8kg (given birth to at 39 weeks plus days through CS) now at 5 months going to 6 months she weigh 4.5kg.

What I noticed is that she is not sick or show any sign of sickness, at 5 months she has started sitting down even making an attempt to crawl (like pick something from).

But she doesn't take anything apart from breast milk, we have tried Nan 1, SMA gold even pap she only takes a little. But she love to drink water too.

Anyone with experience on this

Since she isn't taking formula (Pap not advised until 6 months) you shouldn't have been giving her water. Her stomach is small and water will just fill it up leaving no space for milk and water has no calories. If she's taking just milk, stop the water.
I know you're tempted to compare her weight to children her mates but the factor to consider is her birth weight which was very low for 39weeks birth. She is expected to double her birth weight by 6 months and she has achieved it at 5months so she is growing well. Just stick to EBF without water and introduce fatty foods to her at 6 months.

DS is 3years now and not much improvement in speech. Seems like he’s become more difficult to manage especially when he’s not having his way. I’m confused whether it’s stubbornness or something neurological. I hear of the free early intervention going on there and wish I could key into it.
