I hope everyone is having a merry celebration. Pls moms in the US, is there any provision for some kind of international early intervention grant/visa I can key into? DS is 3years now and not much improvement in speech. Seems like he’s become more difficult to manage especially when he’s not having his way. I’m confused whether it’s stubbornness or something neurological. I hear of the free early intervention going on there and wish I could key into it.

Depends on the baby's birth weight. Babies ideally should add 1kg every month or double their birth weight by 6months and triple the birth weight by 1 year

We got meningococcal conjugate, MMR, Vit A and one other thing I can't remember. We were also supposed to get chicken pox but I postponed that to 15months. 3 injections were already too much for me to bear.

I thought about it, but i am quite young so the doctors don’t see a need.
Secondly I don’t have a problem with my uterus, ie carrying the child itself, because both times I had to force the foetus out( no bleeding, the baby just stopped growing).
So doctors don’t think it’s a “carrying a baby problem” but more a gene problem( either mine or my hubby)

I think so, the pregnancies were via ivf, so they usually check before transfer and they were all good I think.

Most seasoned gynes do antibiotics first before starting fertility treatments. There are hidden infections that can cause infertility.

Depending on the type of bed they have at the hospital. They inclined the bed and I was able to start breastfeeding almost immediately

It's just her feelings then. She needs to use a scale to ascertain weightloss.
Babies should be treated by a pediatrician, let her take the baby to see one on Monday and help put her mind to rest.

How old is this baby? And is it a pediatrician treating him? Is the weight loss confirmed by a scale? Weight loss in infants is an emergency and should not be treated with levity.

What what can I use for drool rash? Baby is 3 months old and currently has drool rash on both sides of her face. I try to clean the drool/spit ups everytime I see it.

Baby tribotan should help with the rash. Also clean her face with a clean cloth and water when you see her drooling to minimise her getting a rash

Mamas, my 6 weeks old baby does not poo everyday but she farts a lot. I notice she gets really uncomfortable when she wants to fart. I don't know if it's normal. I'm a first time mum and she's on EFB.

It's very normal.
Just cycle her legs to help her fart

Yes you can. TVS is a scan done transvaginally while HSG is an xray.
I'd suggest you do the TVS then HSG in that sequence.

As for the pcos, I wasn’t insulin resistant, although I took metformin and inositol but in August when I went to ubth, the doctor conducted several test and those that has to do with insulin level were normal, cortisol was the culprit and he told me I had adrenal pcos, I was asked to lose weight, eat healthily, stopped metformin and inositol, manage stress, placed on hydrocot 3shots, ate more fruits than food, went from 85kg to 69kg, sept did test and right ovary was healed up, I continued, I was given so many supplements, I even got tired at a point, sept and oct, I did not stimulate ovulation, Doctor told me other types of pcos heals except insulin resistant pcos. I don’t feel any symptoms anymore, I felt happier healing pcos even if I wasn’t pregnant yet, although that was the goal and it is still the goal. Knowing the root cause helped alot

Good evening mamas in the house, I am sorry I have been away for so long, I needed to work on my mental health so I took a break from ttc, I worked on pcos and now my ovaries are normal, before the break my right ovary healed first, and I hav been ovulating from my right ovary but yet no pregnancy, so this cycle my doctor asked me to do another TVs which I did and both ovaries are normal now, in the past I stimulated with 5mg letrozole and I always had just one follicle, but this cycle I have 4 as of today from 2.5mg letrozole and bitter leave juice.
Getting to meet my doctor she asked me to trigger with hcg shot which she gave me, I am scared because of ohss because on the scan result there is significant fluid in the pouch of Douglas, I use ubth
Please @Sugar and other sabi mamas in the house what should I do I am even scared to bd

Custard is too processed hence not a good option. You can make the pap yourself and store in the freezer to allay your fears. There are varieties of cereals but just make sure to start with a single grain first to watch for allergies. So start with rice or maize or wheat before mixed grains.
Cerelac, Frisogold, nutrients, nutribom etc are all good brands. For mixed grain stages you can also do August secrets Jadens meals

I did SFA and the result shows that the sperm count is 55mill,active motility is 20%,normal morphology is 30% and yielded growth of staphylococcus aureus.... So,I was told to treat the staphylococcus aureus as well as also improve the morphology and motility buh I was given a bill of 35k to treat them...
Please,can someone here recommend a good drug to treat those things as 35k is way too expensive for me.....

Gud morning my sabi mamas. Pls put mouth into this my matter. Since I had miscarriage since January last year, I discovered that I was not ovulating. Then my doctor send me to do hormone profile test which came out I was having high prolactin. Then I was placed on bromocriptine 2.5mg which I took for two months and I added ewedu and cabbage therapy I learnt from here. Though I have not gone to check on it but I believed it has normalized. My period that used to stay long before it comes started coming at the due time bt sometime it fluctuates. Bt my concern of writing this is that I found out that my egg will mature but will not released and this will result to a cyst. I usually developed this symptom dat my stomach will start bloating from the supposed time of my ovulation till I see my period. At that time I will be thinking that God has answered my prayer even people around me always thinking the same but before you know it AF will come. When I saw my Doctor, he put me on letrozole and told me to do TVS on day 13, which I did and found out there was a matured egg which measured 35mm. He said we should BD, which we did as our life depends on it. Then during my supposed day of ovulation my stomach started bloating again though I added progesterone both injection and oral and period did not come instead I started having spotting from CD 34 till CD 47 with BFN. I went to do another scan to rule out about pregnancy but the scan showed that I am having a simple ovarian cyst on the same right ovary that the follicle was seen. So my question is should I do trigger shot whenever my scan showed matured follicle rather than waiting to ovulate on my own.

Hello mama, sorry about the miscarriage.
I'm not sure why the doctor thought a 35mm follicle will still rupture when it was already a cyst The progesterone you were on prolonged your cycle. If you are still on it you need to stop so your cycle can return.
Next cycle make sure you scan first at the beginning of the cycle to see if the cyst has resolved on its own, if it hasn't please don't take any FSH drugs (clomid letrozole etc)
If there's no cyst you can just monitor your cycle but don't wait until day 13 to scan. You can do from day 9 so as soon as follicle size gets above 18mm you trigger.

Scan shows you have fibroids too.

First tell your husband to get his mother off your neck. The stress will affect your flow.
Eat well, drink lots of water, relax, breastfeed on demand and pump after breastfeeding. Lots of hot pap, oats and keep taking your vitamins.

No you are not.
The reference values is to help compare your progesterone levels to what it should be at different stages of your cycle and at less than 12 weeks pregnancy etc.
Your progesterone level of 2.37 shows you did not ovulate the cycle the test was done (assuming the blood samples were taken on days 3 and 21)

Your endometrium is thickened and the sonographer suspects its due pregnancy hence the suggestion to do a blood pregnancy test and repeat the scan at a later time.
So go do a blood pregnancy test.
