Hello amazing people, im new here i just started reading through this thread and ive learnt a whole lot already, everyone is doing an amazing job here. I have a question to ask but before that let me share a bit of my experience and journey. I had concieved in Oct 2020 same month i got married, had a smooth pregnancy journey, carried to term and birthed the most beautiful boy i had ever seen via cs only to loose him 2 days after to congenital heart disease. I was heart broken, i had lost my dad a year before and hadnt gotten over it. This one crushed me, my bp was all over the place and eventually rose to the point where i could barely see but God showed Himself strong in my life. I am doing okay but DH and I can never forget, we still cry about it sometimes. It was especially difficult for me cos he was a spitting image of his father so i am reminded of it everyday.

We have been trying since december last year cos we had to wait for me to heal proper. I am getting worried and want to try out ivf cos our doctor placed me on clomid since january and still nothing. DH thinks its anxiety on my part but i dont buy that. Might i add that i will turn 42 in dec. I wish i came here much earlier but i had alot on my plate and i dont want to be too hard on myself. I've read all that has been posted here on BOOSTING EGG QUALITY and IMPROVING UTERUS HEALTH. I know that with age comes a decline in egg quantity and quality so i want to increase my chances by working on both BEQ and UH before the ivf procedure.

There were lots of supplements mentioned here and i want narrow them down to ones i need so i dont overload my self and waste money buying duplicates. I want to get omega 3, dhea, vit d3 and fairhaven fertiltea or xiaxian cao tea. My question lies with theses 3 drugs [b]COAST SCIENCE FERTILE ONE PC600, CQ10 AND PREGNACARE CONCEPTION. [/b]Am i supposed to buy all 3 in addition to the ones i mentioned or am i just get 1 or 2 out of the lot.

Im sorry for the epistle but this is actually the first time im talking about this and it felt good letting it off my chest. Looking forward to getting feedback on my question. God bless us all.

Thank you Ma, believe me I have tried that too, but like you said. I will keep trying.

This one isnt very advisable, but that's how americans get their babies to drink water.. mixing with juice or ribena. Then you can slowly reduce the juice to make it less sweeter.

Good evening mama's . Please my baby of 6 months which ve started giving her cereal and puree only is having it difficult to poo. Dis night when trying to poo she just started crying so badly. Since she's 6 months already offer her other foods that are high fibre. Amala and ewedu will help her poo.

@Mzwealthy, seems we are in the same boat as regards baby not drinking water.
My 2nd princess will be 5 months next week and takes both breast milk n Nan, but to take water is war!!! As in, she will struggle n even pour it out if it gets to her mouth. Tried using plastic syringe still no luck.

Breastmilk and nan are sweet, water is bland so its natural for babies to reject water....you just have to keep trying. Sometimes babies copy adults so maybe you can pretend you are drinking the water from the cup and offer her too

If he sleep within 15mins, he'll start crying but during the day he will be fine and playing but when night comes that's when the issue arise. What could be the problem and what can we do to solve this issue

My baby is 9 months old.. she had cradle cap earlier when she was about 2 to 3 months.. cradle cap cleared and since then she’s been losing hair.. Has a doctor seen this? Sounds like alopecia but the cause needs to be investigated.

I'm yet to see a man state whether he was a virgin or not when they come with their male infertility issues. I do not understand why women burden themselves with labels (virgins vs abortionists) when it is clear as day that TTC doesn't respect labels. Anyone can have hormonal imbalance leading to annovulation or fibroids/infection that blocks the tubes. Infections that can cause tubal blockage arent all sexually transmitted. A yeast infection plus douching will lead to it.



@Preciousify, Yes you are judging Or do you feel they dont deserve another child because they committed abortion? Or people shouldnt get pregnant because they were sexually active before marriage?
I believe you kept yourself until marriage for personal/spiritual reasons so be proud of yourself that you did. Unfortunately the reward for marrying a virgin isnt immediate pregnancy......because life just happens.


To your test result: If progesterone was done o day 21 you are most likely not ovulating. Prolactin, even though still within the normal range, is on a high side..work on reducing it.
If you haven't redone a HSG after your myomectomy go do it to ensure tubal patency. Someone also asked about your husbands SFA...it takes 2 to procreate.

Some tips for mamas that have unexplained infertility (SFA good, tubes patent and ovulating but no pregnancy).
--Robitussin (with guaifenesin) cough syrup or mucinex taken before ovulation helps thin out cervical mucus...this will help the sperm swim up faster.
--Eating pineapple core after ovulation helps improve chances of implantation by increase blood flow to the uterus.
--stop trying to time sex to ovulation period..sometimes most miss the fertile window while trying to time sex. Just have sex everyother day immediately after your period ends. I.e if your period ends on day 4, start having sex on day 5, 7, 9 etc
--stop using soap/femfresh etc to wash your vagina and dont insert anything there. You'd kill the good bacteria meant to be there and change the PH level of your vagina thereby making it almost like a spermicide (killing sperms that enter the vag)...

The uterus is anteverted and bulky in size measuring 101x59mm with irregular outline and homogeneous myometrial echotexture noted with multiple solitary masses
measuring 25x21mm, 13x13mm, 24x20mm,43x37mm and 39x36mm. Endometrial plate is thickened (13mm).

OVARIES
Normal size on both sides, no cysts

Adnexae/POD
No Mass. No Fluid collection seen in the POD

CONCLUSION
MULTIPLE UTERINE MYOMA NOTED

Multiple small/medium sized fibroids are noted.

So, after much herbal drugs here and there for hydrosalpinx, I and my dear husband decided that I should have a salpingectomy done(removal of the affected tube), while we continue trying naturally with the patient tube and also save up for ivf, the surgery was done last week Tuesday, without complications, but the doctor ended up carrying out tubal ligation instead of the total removal of the tube, according to him him he did what was best for me, because there was a lot of adhesions and he didn't want me to bleed too much, the cut I have on my stomach is like that of a CS, very long, while the surgery was going on I could sense the doctor's confusion and frustration, he had to call another doctor on phone while in the theatre to come assist him, we waited for some minutes before he came, and continued with him. Since he said he did what was best for me, I am not complaining, though I wanted it removed, but I give God all the Glory, and I trust him to perfect all that he has started.

Pele. I know it seems heartbreaking that your chances of conceiving naturally have been cut but look on the bright side....only the living can procreate.
Take your time to heal and keep putting money together for the IVF, with the hydrosalpinx gone your success rate for IVF has increased. I pray you get your BFP at your first trial.
But make sure to study the IVF thread well before you start and prepare your body very well for the procedure.

I think it's hcg but I thought it's only given as a shot ONCE when follicles measure about 18mm

FSH: Follicle stimulating hormone injection is given to help grow the eggs (sometimes in addition to clomid or letrozole) and HCG given at egg maturity to rupture/release the egg.

FSH and HCG injections are administered to help a woman ovulate.
I dont know what injection you are referring to for men.
FSH and HCG should only be administered under close supervision as side effects include Ovarian cyst.

No doctor will tell you not to give water to a mixed or formular fed baby.
Doctors only advocate for no water on exclusively breastfed babies.
Breastmilk contains a high percentage of water and nutrients to sustain a baby for the first 6months of life. Breastmilk isnt "heavy" thats why mothers are advised to breastfeed on demand or every 2 hours. The baby’s stomach at that time is still very small so giving water means taking up space for milk in the stomach thereby reducing the nutrients the baby should receive at each feed.

Hey everyone, asking this question for my babe

She saw her period last month by 13th

She was supposed to ovulate around 26-27th but started bleeding around 24th (she said the bleeding is like her period)

The bleeding was coming and going since then up until 9th of this month.

She was supposed to see her original period by 10th but nothing till now although she tells me it's because she has been having what looks like period for days.

She is not having any symptoms but I just want to understand, is pregnancy a possibility here?

We never had sex close to her fertile days but she started bleeding even before ovulation or during ovulation sef

P.S. she took postpill like 4 days before ovulation, she has taken it before and never had this effect on her so I don't know if it's the one.

This isnt the right thread for your concerns.
However, she can do a PT to clear doubts...then see a doctor for the irregular bleeding.

Yes I have done hormonal profile, which shows my progesterone is low.

Someone already listed how to clear the adhesions.
Hormonal profile checks other hormones apart from progesterone. If your progesterone is low on day 21 it means you aren't ovulating..the other hormones will tell you why. Post the result if you have it and if it was done within the last 6 months

It could be clomid but also remember you were pregnant. Pregnancy can also make fibroids grow.

You need to know the cause of the bleeding to know how to stop it.

I'm still bleeding up till this moment and after 3 D and C with multiple scans which I've uploaded,
I went into herb and the new scan shows no retain products but myeloma (fibroid) ,I don't know how possible to have fibroid so quick with this and if the clomid is the cause of this fibroid.

Someone should check for me if fibroid is possible inside the uterus and could retain product turns into fibroid or it could build up within 2 weeks.

Sorry for what you're going through.
Its possible the fibroids were mistaken for RPOC and causing the bleeding.
Do the HVS to rule out infection ( I hope youve been on antibiotics?) and hormonal profile as suggested. Hormonal profile will be a bit tricky though as you don't know your cycle days

One says adhesion and the other doesnt mention adhesion. Both your tubes are open in both results.

But i dont think there's a need to fret, he's just turning 2. Is he in school yet? Does he have siblings or neighbours kids he plays with? These things affect speech development.
If you still want to schedule an evaluation with the therapist id send you her details but i think he'd benefit from interacting with people albeit forced interaction.
Miss Rachel on Youtube is a good interactive/learning channel for kids. Also follow "speechsisters" on IG for tips on how to force him to communicate.

From her report her range is within normal, which ofcos is close to being out of normal. Which is why I recommended/suggested those eggs quality suppliments The range of the lab she used said normal. Check her report/lab result.

Maybe im not reading it correctly....her fsh value is 19.39 and normal range is 1.96-7.70..isnt that way out of range?

I was going to say momadav made a mistake in her statement about your FSH being ok but she adviced correctly about ubiquinol. Your FSH is high meaning ovarian reserve is low so you need all the good supplements you can to ensure only quality eggs are released. Add ubiquinol to what you are taking. You will benefit greatly by following the IVF thread to see how the ladies prepare their bodies for IVF.
