helovesme:This just gave me chills. Kai |
Primark:First of all, please stop shouting. I think I remember you asking about lifting birth stories but maybe you should have gone a step further by asking the individuals that posted the stories before lifting them. Since it was just one person that answered when you asked, there's a possibility that its not everyone that would comfortable with it. So if you don't mind, ask each person that shares a story before lifting it. |
faithisallihave:The more hot tempered of you two should handle the situation. Maximum vexation is required |

You talk like you don't live in Nigeria where everyone has a 'pure water' factory at the back of their house ![]() Generally, water being hawked has questionable safety. Iv bought bottled water with a spider inside the bottle before |
Peggygee scan EDD is usually based on the EFW(estimated fetal weight) of your baby. So if your baby is big, it moves your EDD forward and vice versa. Id say, stick with your LMP but know that if baby gets too big your doctor might decide to induce you earlier. But people don born 4.6kg babies vaginally so you are good. |
faithisallihave:Erm, biko what was her reason exactly? |
Ayomide's pictures might never be posted here be that. @instagram birth stories. Who knows what else has been lifted from here? |
suzy:NO. It would just make you worry more ![]() |
mitchyy:Let's look at it this way... which would be easier for a 2months old baby do, drink from the wide mouth of a bottled water or suck from a small hole in a satchet water? The friend did what she felt was ok to appease the baby that was crying inconsolably but from the bolded comment, she is ignorant about how unsafe satchet water is. Just saw your comment about EBF... does the friend know that EBF means no water? Even me found that out recently. |
helovesme:My dear, you just typed exactly what I wanted to say. The friend is kind and the mother 'acted' irresponsibly....end of story. This reminds me of a 'mother' I met in Festac sometime ago. I parked beside another car at 2nd Ave by agboju market and noticed the car beside mine had an infant strapped to a car seat in the car. The baby was awake and crying and the sun that day was something else. That's how I stood by the baby's window and was trying to pacify her, because with the crying and the heat only God knows what would have happened to the child. I was prepared to ask someone to break the car window if I noticed the baby was in distress. Almost an hour later, the baby's mother showed up from inside the market and she even had a very flippant attitude when I told her the baby had been crying for almost an hour. Her excuse was 'she was sleeping when I left'. If naija was a sensible country na to call police immediately upon noticing the baby. Children have died from suffocation by being left in the car without air/AC. |
zimunachimdi:If you read one of mitchyy's recent post about putting on AC for her LO, she observed he slept more. Im sure you wear coverall for your baby and no fan/AC..... the baby is probably hot! Although ceiling fan isn't ideal for anyone, if you have AC or standing rotating fan, try it out and see if his sleep pattern improves. |
Oby1:And it shall be done unto you by God's special grace. My NS ![]() |
Mitchyy when I had my myomectomy the instruction was to always keep the incision site dry. I was never told to clean with spirit or dettol... I guess hospital rules differ on that one. Abeg mamas that have done elective CS in naija, US and UK do you get a special soap to bathe with to prevent infection? My doctor mentioned a special soap id be given to bathe with to prevent infection. |
This is disheartening |
Ayauche:Ha mama, take it easy 7 babies born in one day means team April would be more than 70, more than my team September 2016 sef. |
Im definitely going to gbadun this April 2017 mamas. Na Zaynie see gas wey her head spin so? oya send some to my house. Maybe I go start small gas business from my backyard ![]() Grand welcome to itissettled3, Ayeyimaame and folamee!! You shall have a stress-free and healthy pregnancy in Jesus name. |
RAYMONDhigh666:Risk doctor, na which school you go? You just entered this room and started shouting because 'am a gynecologist '? Gerrarahiamehn!!! |
justwise:Ok, thanks |
Itissettled3, I used to always smile when I read your name. It is indeed settled!! Our God breaks protocols, ignores doctors diagnosis and blesses us at his and our appointed time. Ayeyimaame you are always full of praises, let the praises never depart from your lips. Congratulations to both of you, come April 2017 you shall birth babies that work surpass their peers, in Jesus name. I need at least 7 babies born on April 7th 2017 from mamas in this group. Frontpagelawyer Justwise I just read of the visa-free entry to the UK for Commonwealth countries. Any truth in the article? |

MsPat, sorry once again for loss. But what was the diagnosis? |
Austine2020:Yes she needs a receipt to gain entry into the interview hall.......but if you paid online on Gtbank platform, you would have easily reprinted another receipt. |
Jumayin im not sure why I pictured you as a dark lady in my head... maybe because I read your moniker as Jumai a hausa name ![]() Zimunachimdi happy 2 months to your oyibo prince. |
Suzy in this internet age, there's no excuse for ignorance. If you have an Android or Apple phone, download pregnancy apps like the bump or what to expect. Educate yourself about the changes going on in your body and your life. When you are registering it asks for either your lmp or EDD, since like me you are not sure of your LMP, put the EDD your scan at 11/12 weeks scan gave you. For a healthy pregnancy, the number of scans required is 3. I haven't read you complain of bleeding or anything serious and you have already done 4scans at 19weeks, kwantinue to do scan until you are satisfied meanwhile, I asked about fibroids which you were supposed to check for with this scan.... I think if there was something significant the sonographer would have mentioned it.You can choose to either enjoy your pregnancy or give yourself hbp with worrying.... The choice is completely yours. ....but you should read up about preeclampsia. |
IphyB:If you are still breastfeeding, know that whatever concoctions you take, your baby takes as well. So don't start running around when your baby starts purging. For exercise, I think aerobics classes might be better for you since you still feel pain at the incision. But talk to your doctor about what exercise is safe for you. |
ijeomaobi1:Yes o. Even post partum preeclampsia. So do check with your doctor to check your bp first. |
Ijeomaobi1 have you checked your bp to be sure the swelling isnt as a result of it? When I had swelling after my long flight, I wore compression socks for a whole day and the legs went back to normal. But I don't know if it's recommended for post partum swelling. |
Oh wow Mspat. Sad news indeed! So sorry for your loss. |
Congrats evamum and sweetlady4real. May your LOs bring you joy. |
