I got silvercrest 4.5w for 17k on Jumia about 3 months ago. I dunno the price now but it blends anything bendable.

I wasn't allowed to sit that day, to avoid spinal headache. I had to lay flat and not raise my head till next morning, So I started putting baby to breast the next morning and luckily for me, it started flowing later same day. They gave formula that first day

Those that have had CS,how painful is it post delivery? How long does it take to start moving about? How long can it take to breast feed baby with it? What is the time frame for one to be able to go to work after it?

I don't know what you mean by how long it takes to breastfeed

I never had any surgery till my Cs last year, I was so scared I cried from when the doctor advised it till I entered theater. I hate injections and drugs. I started standing the next morning. The more you move, the easier it becomes. It didn't take up to 2weeks before I stopped feeling pains in the area. But they always advice to avoid carrying heavy stuff and strenuous work. Just adhere to what your doctor says and you will be fine. By the time I went for post partum checkup, I was completely normal.

That i will be placed on bedrest in the hospital and given progesterone and another injection. Now my question is, is there no way to check if the baby is fine or not?

So a transvaginal scan was done today (6weeks), and the result said no sac. The bleeding hasn't stopped since friday. So i wasn't surprised when the scan was done. I have moved on and accepted it as God's will.

I was using here when i had my first baby but later switched to Mother and child. Initial registration was about 13k but you pay 1500naira on each antenatal. You pay for everything separately. Its pay as you go

She said general hospitals don't give these vaccines.

At the health centre where my baby uses, the card they gave has both the free and paid ones that they dont give listed on the schedule, so they just give the free ones and its up to you to go elsewhere and get others. Though i know people who took only those free ones and ignored the paid ones, i sha took all

Vbac is possible if it has been at least 18months since your last CSection OR Vbac is possible if it has been at least 18months before conception.

Please kindly help clarify.

I asked my gynea this question when i went for post natal checkup.
He actually told me that it has to be 2yrs between the cs and the new expected delivery date and that baby must not weigh above 3.5kg and that no induction whatsoever. Labour must come naturally

My wife gave birth April, by Monday it will be a month, the problem is that my son don't drink water is only during bathing that he normally drink water with force but he can suck up to twenty times a day. So we were advice to be missing the water with glucose for him which will not take five minutes for him to finish the feeding bottle. My concern is that won't the glucose cause harm to him?

Secondly, my wife has been complaining of dizziness,since yesterday she has not gone for check up, my aunt suggest i gave her blood tonic, i intent to buy the blood tonic this evening but i just want to confirm if its ok.

If your baby is on only breastmilk, he doesnt need any extra water.

It was gifts from different people. I can't buy huggies wipes after that. Learnt the fake ones are so much in the market. Its either angel or Dr brown wipes for me

Same here, been using molfix and it has never leaked. My baby is 4months plus now. I was gifted huggies, the one in red pack and I almost threw it away. Even huggies wipes self, it's like tissue soaked in water

Please, start with brown pap (made a bit watery and slightly thick, something in-between) mixed with formula for that baby. Nutribom is for 6 months upwards.
Peak 123 is not for children less than a year. Go for first infant formula like peak baby, Nan1, sma1, etc.
That's how a friend asked me how much I buy my baby's formula and I told her. The next thing she said is I should stop wasting money and buy Dan.o full cream milk. For 5 months baby o. I just said okay.

Someone told me to give pap at 2months. I just ignored her with her unsolicited advice.

Went for 6wks immunization n a woman there saw my baby n said she has "ila" (yoruba term) don't know d english name for it, she also said she has open front head. She suggest alagbo, which I bought, n started yesterday. Pls mama does it work? I don't feel comfortable given her. Cos she's still tender(6wks old). It my first time taking such, I've never tasted agbo

When I went for immunization, the nurses specifically addressed this issue. They warned us never to give agbo to our babies no matter what. As for the forehead, we were told it doesn't close till 1year+ on its own naturally, every child has it. You might just end up harming your baby. Please don't give any agbo. If you feel your baby need medical attention, go to the hospital.

To your last question, because of the covid ish, most hospitals cancelled the antenatal classes. Some use whatsapp groups. Mine, we usually had zoom antenatal classes for the normal lectures where all our questions were answered but physical visits was only the normal routine checks and giving drugs

My baby's poo today was like rock. She hates water always spits it out once she tastes it and i cant do exclusive breastfeeding as i have resumed work. So she takes Nan1 while I'm at work but once i close by 3pm, we switch back to breastmilk. Biko, how to i prevent constipation? Even the way she wails when you give her water eh, like its bitter...someone please save a worried new mum. I really dunno what to do.

Hello mommas, I've a question. Please is there specific number of times one has to undergo ultrasound scan during the entire pregnancy?

My wife has done 3 scans already at 12week, 16week and 20week. We're thinking of doing another scan in March between week 28 to 30 if the hospital did not carryout any further scan during her ANC on March 3.

We want to do a final confirmation of the gender in a special laboratory tho we've been told the gender during week 20 scan at the hospital.

This is to enable us decide on the babies essentials to purchase.

I dont think there'sany rule to that. Though some cases might require special attention. I did scan 3 times while i was pregnant. First at 12wks, 2nd 22wks and 3rd at 39wks.
