Do you know i still haven't applied for mat leave. God help me let them not cut my salary for giving late notice, lol. I was supposed to request for it from my last hospital visit but because i didn't go on my exact day, a different gynae was on seat and he said since i am opting for ECS i need to speak with my gynae first to know the exact week it will be done. I dont have strength to go back a different day so i just left it for my next visit. By the time i include my 10days leave, it will still enter as i plan to have my baby during the 10days.

This month get as e be, I'm still less than 50percent as at now. Lol. God will help me

Oh oh,I am so sorry this happened to you,zamorah used to be a good store until they started this dirty habit of scamming people,theeyeopener on Instagram has been drumming it that people should stop patronizing her,she is now a full blown scam,mama if you can find your way to yaba,get some nice materials there and sew it on the spot,you will wait and collect it that same day since it is free gown,just have the picture of what you want and show them,so sorry you fell for this lady,thou if you disturb their life continually,they may deliver in 1 year.

Bikonu I need as much people to help report a page on ig, i dont even know whether to be upset with myself or not. So here goes the story. So i have been consciously looking for where to buy all these long free gowns. Na so i carry myself go instagram, who sent me? I came accross this page with over 43k followers.

I dont even know what i was thinking that day, when i ordered. I'm just happy the amount is not much, about 10k. It was after they failed to deliver, i realised i have entered 1 chance . I realized same set of people keep commenting on posts praising them. Any comments of people complaining, gets deleted. Wow. The clothes haven't been delivered till today, since before sallah. I saw comments of people saying no delivery for over 6months. They just have a standby person permanently on Instagram deleting complaints.

Funny thing is, i was bit convinced as its a registered company account i paid to then. I dont know why i didn't pay close attention. Even the address on their google profile is an empty building, no single soul there. Chai

I already count it as my loss but then i dont want other innocent people to fall victim of their scam and i know the only way to get instagram take down that page is if a lot of people report it. So that is why I'm sharing here. Bikonu, help me report that page on instagram. Thats all i ask for, nothing more.

I really don't understand this stuff sha, cause my first child was 3.4 at 6 months, that was how my midwife suggested partial fasting. I later gave birth without CS but baby was 4.2 at birth. One of my friend that ate so much had her baby and she was just 2.8, what exactly is the cause?

If you or your hubby are big, your baby would most likely be big even if you fast from now till next year

I really cant tell. I didnt even express or pump. Just direct sucking till like a week to the day i resumed work. I remember going to my tailor's place to take measurement for dedication cloth around January, had my baby in December, she was asking what i did. I just said nothing o. Hot water did not enter my mouth for one day. I just said if the hot food is not enough enough, then so be it. I cannot come and kill myself biko. I also know the exclusive breastfeeding stuff doesn't even work for everyone. But that was the only thing my stubborn self was willing to try.

Lol, its not always food that makes baby big. Genes too contribute. Dont go and starve yourself in the name of making your baby not to be big. Baby that will be big will still be big

My cousin told me then 'breastfeed like your life depends on it',lol. And it worked. I didn't take any hot water or press anything. And it worked. I think some mamas here have mentioned it too. Exclusive breastfeeding

Well, i was using it for my daughter. It clears rashes yes but after a while it started drying out her skin. So i stopped.

You can go and do a private scan to check ,I tnk scan done that early is called Anomaly scan or something.

No ma'am, anomaly scan is done when pregnancy is already advanced (second trimester precisely) to check for defects on baby and all. I guess its transvaginal scan you meant to say. As normal abdominal scan would most likely not detect anything that early

For solid rock I dont like their lackadaisical attitude and it has always been like that maybe just for me sha, then I went for antenatal last week friday only for them to tell me I wont be attended to because I came late. I pleaded with the nurse but she still refused. The normal antenatal time is between 9am_12pm I got there 11:45 because I was coming from work then got stucked in traffic again but even with all the explanations they didnt attend to me. Since I registered with them I've not done any scan in the hospital, Drs dont check me, all they do is give me routine drugs and tell me to come back in 4 weeks.
All these is just things pissed me jare, not like I've used them for anything other than malaria before self.


Please calculate your mat leave well and apply on time, I hear say person don born for office for una branch before. I'm applying for annual leave next month sha.

I'm most likely going for elective cs so i will speak with my gynae to know the exact week it will be done. Antenatal here is daily. A gynae is always on ground 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday. But if you come weekends or public holidays, its a general doctor you will see. But nothing like you came late or anything, it will only affect who you end up seeing.

That matleave is too short biko. Plus the last time i spent like 3weeks at home before i put to bed. I sont want to waste anything this time around

That's exactly what the Dr said that they will refund but Isalu is charging 250k for vaginal delivery and 400k for CS. I'm expecting an official response from Greenbay to know the actual amount they will refund if not I'll port to 'Mother and Child' jeje. I hope your bonus made you smile today .

I have always known them to be quite expensive. I'm very sure the 400k and 250k is minus accommodation and other stuff on top. Greenbay should be able to offer a reasonable amount though so you dnt get to spend much. But I'm still kinda curious, why dont you like the other place you use?

Ah you see that bonus e, this baby seems to have come with extra grace with no extra stress. Cause normal me no send them and that their performance. I only missed one category, that one with the least amount attached to it.

I haven't applied yet. I will probably apply after my next hospital appointment. Though i want to my annual leave in front.

You try and burp him or her after breastfeeding ,when u guys re bafn ,massage the baby with d baffing hot water (the stomach area)

Some mothers lay there kids downward ie stomach down tho you have to monitor your baby while on that position

And again i read you can be turning his or her leg as someone wey dey ride bycyle,is also helpa

These are Natural ways of wat u can do at home ..

You can ask question about your new born in the Newborn thread..experienced mama's re there too.

This was exactly what i did and it went away. I didnt use any drugs

Looking back, I also thank God I'm not living in regrets by now after my baby's heartbeat almost stopped after 6hrs of being induced which landed us in an emergency that brought her out lifeless and landed her on oxygen for days if not for God's intervention.. Imagine using this kind of oxygen tank on a newborn after exhausting plenty small ones..

What i did when my baby had colic was to massage her tummy from time to time with hot water. Then i usually lay her tummy facing down from time to time. My MIL was always placing her tummy on her laps and it really helped. I didn't give any drug or anything. Just the massage and lying tummy facing down from time to time and also burping after feeding. It went away on its own

When Labour start on its own,the next thing is it not to birth unless something happend along the line,or the labour is not progressing

Its not a theory, its jst to reduce the risk of complications. The whole induction thing is a 50/50 something. Its better elective cs than emergency when/if induction fails. Based on experience, i personally will pick elective cs anytime over induction. I had a choice when i had my baby and if i had chosen otherwise, i may have been living in regrets by now.
