My precious daughter arrived via elective Csection today 6/10/2022 weighing 3.6kg at 37 weeks 1 day.

Baby girl is doing fine, mama is trying to recover too.
Oct mamas take note please.

Dont lift anything heavier than your baby
Try to walk around a bit, maybe around your room (dont climb stairs o), just dont stay at a place all the time
The incision site is still covered so the hospital will handle the cleaning and redressing till you are discharged.
Try to get as much rest as you can.
Take your drugs religiously

Good evening mamas, please who has ever use/is using Aptamil800g for her baby? Want to ask how many days it takes a 3months+ baby to finish it because am seriously not understanding what's going on again.

My baby is always at creche from 8am(which he'll be sleeping) till 4/5pm dat I ll go and carry him but his baby milk now last just a week and am beginning to wonder what's going on, how can I ask d caregiver how many times he eat per day because I expect it shd b within 2-3times considering every 4hrs for him. Naso baby milk dey tey finish

Dont tell me you put the entire milk tin for creche people. Try and get milk dispensers and measure for each meal. I used this type for my baby.

My own is on the incision site on both the uterus and pelvic region.. How will it fare with expansion so soon?

My colleague did 3 cs back to back 2019, 2020 and 2021. Instead of congratulations, she was getting 'do you want to kill yourself'. Infact, her 4 children were all through cs. Though i cant take such risk sha but with constant monitoring and a good doctor, she will be fine

We are fine ma. We are almost at the finish line. My bp just keeps fluctuating, i know its cause I'm a bit nervous as its getting closer. Gynae says we will pick a date for elcs by my next apointment. Hope you are good

I was told elective repeat CS is at 38 weeks, I wont mind if they can do it earlier self. Meanwhile I paid for everything I did cos HMO said the only thing they are to pay for now is delivery. I should meet my target by tomorrow so I'll be free, I'll use my remaining leave days when I meet.

Yes, 38weeks and on Thursdays. If you even eventually do ECS we might born same day o

Yey!! Welcome on board. Since its on a tuesday you went it means its same gynae we are both seeing...Dr Ikh... They have 2 plus the owner of the place, thats 3. They told me from onset that I'm not qualified for vbac, i felt bad though but then, its all for good. So I'm expecting baby much earlier.

I'm starting my annual leave by month end though. I took more than 10days though so i can exhaust everything left before the matleave. I was angry at work earlier this month but my baby is way more important to me than their nonsense. Imagine they shared 2 big portfolios in my group and I'm getting stories that I'm going soon, like i wont be back after 3months.

I know someone that did 4cs. Funny thing about hers was that the last 3 was just a year interval each. 2019, 2020 and 2021. The first was in 2010. You will be fine ma, God will be with you every step of the way

Pls what could be used to stop vomiting, weakness of d body? Once she eat (even fruit) d only feeling she has is to vomit and currently she don't fancy eating again.
Pls at what point do we need to register for antinatal? we notice she was pregnant last Monday after conducting a test. Ur response would be appreciated, being our first conception.

Fruits and vegetables are generally very good during pregnancy except for pineapple (some people say it induces labor, it does nothing to me). Just take varieties, not just stick to one. I dont know about ginger or lucozade boost but everything on your list is fine.

You cant stop the vomiting, she can go to the hospital if its severe but it will go away/reduce after first trimester (around 14wks)

Bikonu I need as much people to help report a page on ig, i dont even know whether to be upset with myself or not. So here goes the story. So i have been consciously looking for where to buy all these long free gowns. Na so i carry myself go instagram, who sent me? I came accross this page with over 43k followers.

I dont even know what i was thinking that day, when i ordered. I'm just happy the amount is not much, about 10k. It was after they failed to deliver, i realised i have entered 1 chance . I realized same set of people keep commenting on posts praising them. Any comments of people complaining, gets deleted. Wow. The clothes haven't been delivered till today, since before sallah. I saw comments of people saying no delivery for over 6months. They just have a standby person permanently on Instagram deleting complaints.

Funny thing is, i was bit convinced as its a registered company account i paid to then. I dont know why i didn't pay close attention. Even the address on their google profile is an empty building, no single soul there. Chai

I already count it as my loss but then i dont want other innocent people to fall victim of their scam and i know the only way to get instagram take down that page is if a lot of people report it. So that is why I'm sharing here. Bikonu, help me report that page on instagram. Thats all i ask for, nothing more.

The customer service officer you met might probably be very tired or having a long day,when my wife did hers we went with her I'd card bearing her father's name,along with marriage certificate, newspaper report and affidavit,she submitted all and within 48hrs her bvn was update free of charge..
I'm also in the sector too...that's how it should be!

I met different people as i visited different branches, i also called customer service too, same story. I guess it depends on the bank it was done. I just gave up and registered for pvc with the new name, so i can use it when its out. I did affidavit and newpaper publication since last year

Your BVN is rated higer than NiN...

Bank wont update bvn without a valid idcard that carries the new name. I am in same boat with her. I have newspaper publication and affidavit but the bank said i still need a valid idcard with the new name.
