i reckon that you check if your application says approve on your portal. go there with your data page and collect your passport because in Lagos visa office right now. it's a shit show. my mom took 3weeks plus, i just told her to go there and the passport was there. this is after chatting them up three times with an answer it is still in progress at the embassy.

Good morning, I want to ask what documents can I submit for Aunt's nephew who intend to visit the uk.

Background story,

My Aunt currently is about to renew her 5years visa, she has a son who is British here. But she intends to take her nephew, He is currently at home due to ASUU's strike he is a university student at the moment no work. I have told my aunt that their applications can't be merged as one as each person on his own.

I just wanted to enquire what type of document can I submit for him? His mom will be sponsoring the trip, is she going to be dropping her own account?he can get an invite letter from his uncle (my Aunt's son). His school documents, what other proof can we show?

I will appreciate every contribution.

Yeah, really serious. Confused if you were given a regular visa or a permit on your husband's. Not having a validity period is an issue of concern. Vignette says it permits you to be here, how then do you know when you are to leave? Your husband should probably give them a ring. As it could also be a mistake on their part.

If vignette carries just one month, that means the validity of ur visa is on ur passport. So does this means there is a validity period on that same visa you have? Because if it's just one month, the vignette expires after a month.

I think this just means anyone trying to bring in dependent close to the end of their program might fall into this. Where no brp will be issued.

So technically if you get to the UK, you and ur husband has to sort out the issue of either putting in application for the PSV or switching to a tier2. It's crazy because not doing this might mean you are overstaying.

Sorry you are going through this Atm. No one truly knows how the Ukvi operates.

Apparently not issuing you a letter in the first place they know what they are doing. I guess what they are trying to inform you in essence is that they will not issue you a brp for a visa that is 6months, unless more.

Just to clarify, your vignette carries how many month? I know it usually carries 3months for people coming to get brp. Also, did you pay the ihs and all of those things? They should have you issued the remainder of your husband's passport and not less than 3months. So you probably need to clarify more.

So sorry for your refusal, two things I noticed. The CAC and the lodgement.

Is ur company registration up to date? In terms of filling and things like that? Because if you registered and you dont do anything on your registration overtime it becomes inactive on the website.

Secondly. I guess the vo was not very pleased as regards the lodgment, you probably would have attached some sort of explanation to that. I hope you look into all of this before reapplying. All the best.

Also, my friend recently had an issue with her validity period she was given extra 9months which was totally different from her dependent's. We sent an email to the brp error email link and a new brp was sent within a week to correct the date back . So u can travel then rectify.

Two guys also did the same, they came in last year September for masters, na so them see sponsorship for one care home that will sponsor their visa for 5 years (contract) straight.

They are presently out of university now on tier 2 route. Dropped masters (lol)

I can understand your worries. At my POE, the border officer particularly asked that a letter was given to me to present to the immigration officer, where is the letter?
Considering your vignette expiring soon, I don't advice u wait, they might ask they might not. Because if your vignette expires it's another long wait to get another visa stamped.

The 3715 is for the couple. They had 3lil kids below 4 so they ddnt pay for them. They are all in a room. The booking was not easy, they had to book and reboom over 10times. The hotels are not readily available so you cannot book ur flight without having booked the hotel and once u book ur flight without the hotel your might be asked to reschedule. So it is not a walk in the park

Her vignette is about to expire, she got stuck in transit on Sunday when the law came into effect too. It's just crazy.

My friend and her husband and 3kids just landed this morning. They paid 3715pounds and yes she used her student visa likewise the dependants. The airlines are just moving mad but yes students have resident rights and can travel.

If you are a student and your 90 day student visa vignette has expired
If your 90 day visa vignette has expired and you either:

have been unable to travel due to coronavirus, but have been undertaking your studies remotely from overseas and intend to travel to study the same course in the UK
have completed an eligible course by distance learning under coronavirus concessions and are coming to the UK by the relevant date to apply under the Graduate route. Read the guidance for further information
You will need to make a paid application for a vignette transfer by completing the online form. The cost of replacing an expired 90 day vignette is £154 and you will need to make an appointment to resubmit your biometric information.

If your 90 day visa vignette has expired and you either:

have deferred your course start date due to coronavirus but have been unable to undertake your studies remotely, meaning that your course cannot be completed during your existing visa period, and you now intend to travel to the UK
can still complete your course within the dates covered by your existing visa period, but your course end date has changed, and you would like a new visa with a revised end date
You will need to submit a new paid student visa application with a new Certificate of Acceptance of Study (CAS) to cover the revised dates of your course. You will also need to make an appointment to resubmit your biometric information.

This is from the website. Try and read it. I ddnt see anywhere it says so resubmission. Check out the online form to know.

It is on the uk website. You have to refill an online form, pay about 154pounds, book and apply and redo your biometric. My friend is in this shoes too. She was waiting for her dependent visa not knowing the law would happen. Very unfortunate.

Is the certificate from the trade certificate evaluated? Yours is understandable, you need to figure out if that can be, that's the only way to claim point of her if not please choose none of the above.

Like I said, used the paid mail, likewise what is on ur refusal email. Thats what we did. You have to be able to take chances and risks. Time is not on your side any longer. Except maybe you intend to go via AR. Have you even checked the ukvi website? To know the email used? Please make extra effort to do that.
