Use the paid mail, on the ukvi website. It has both the mail and the contact phone number there.

Or check the refusal email if there is a way to contact. Our resubmission mail came from Pretoria., I don't know where your file was treated.

Biometrics 21 January, ikeja priority.

After 2weeks, we started calling, we called atleast 4times to know the update. Decison hasn't been made, not knowing they had been trying to reach our sponsor.

18th February, refusal email was sent, that sponsor could not be reached, the days he was communicated but didn't response was listed. 4 times. Twice each in 2weeks.

19th February, sponsor sent an email stating why email wasn't responded too, gave reasons and we waited with hope. Tbh, I had alrdy given up because I felt like this wasn't AR, it was like try your luck and they probably won't reply to the email.

23rd February, email to pick up passport was sent and my spouse went to pick up, no visa was issued in it.

24th February, email was sent to confirm that Sponsor has been verified and passport be resubmitted back to VAC.

Today, 2nd March 2021. Passport collected with visa.

I really don't know how to feel, just really thankful, the efforts, monies spent into this. In all I am so glad that we didn't relent or relax when the refusal came in.

I wish everyone still waiting all the best.

Sorry this had to happen to you, please if you don't mind read page 195 or 196 or search under my profile what I have posted before, this same things happened to my spouse, visa was reissued after a week plus. Read up on my post and see if that will work for you and please act very very fast. When was it refused?

Your statement of account must meet these 2 conditions:
Minimum of 28 days statement.
Validity of 31 days from date of print.

For the name issue, choose your own poison. Either you go through the stress of correcting the name at the bank, or you go through the stress of UKVI scrutiny. There's no easier way to go about it.
Personally, I would settle all gray areas before I submit my application for any visa.

28 days is minimum, as long as it is printed not earlier than 31 days from your biometric date. So yes, u can print on 15th or 16th

Thank you very much for your response, so if the statement is printed on the 15th, it has to be used on that same 16th? Or can still be uploaded 17th or 18th?

For the statement, changing the bank details will freeze alot of things on hold for him and will involve reaching out to alot of places to correct. He really does not have that luxury to hold money down for days. There is really nothing to hide, that was why I asked of the affidavit suffices. Hopefully it won't be scrutinzed. I don't know if anyone has this kind of issue. As he is due to print out his statement nextweek.

Hello everyone. Good morning, i have two questions

if 28days starts counting from 15th February, can I print on 15th march or 16th march?

2ndly, my friend has one name different on his banking details and on his passport. Say Abc on passport then DBC on bank, Is an affidavit of fact suffices for this when printing out bank statement? To clear the name disparity?

Or he need to do a cover letter explaining again? Any help is needed.

Asking for a friend, she intends to travel to study in the UK for her masters this September 2021. she has 3 children who she intends to take with her.

Her husband has a good job here and cannot follow them, please does she stand a chance considering the fact that her husband won't be going with her?

Is it possible she does hers first and her children later on before she leaves?
I know I have seen something about getting consent letter posted here, I will try and search. But any advice is needed. Thank you.

Very interesting analyses on the forum. They are mostly speculative though as no one knows why the IRCC is conducting CEC draws on a Saturday morning with 27k invitations with a cut off of 75. They should streamline their information management system to ensure people are adequately informed about changes. It doesn't seem fair to get people to pay so much money for all these services (WES, IELTS, ITA and PPR fees) and then leave them in the dark about changes to their program. What's the difference between that and the Nigerian civil service?

What’s your point?? listening doesn’t have to be 8 , if listening isn’t 8 what’s the use of the result because she’s short of 50 points If listening isn’t 8 if reading and other modules aren’t 7.
Why did I keep retaking IELTS if listening didn’t need to be 8 ?
Going by the current trends if you don’t max out there’s no space for you due to competitiveness. So listening must be 8 I am in my house come and beat me.

I also weak, I have a friend who maxed all but had 7 in listening. The score fall no be small. 8 Listening is very germane. Lol Infact maxing out is the koko, not the usual 8777.

I submitted my application January 20, went for biometrics January 21st, VI centre (priority) i did a walk-in service and since then not a single mail or word as regards my application,last week Wednesday (exactly 9th working day) i called UKVI and the lady told me a decision hasnt been made yet but she will escalate, tomorow will make it the 12th working day, to be honest it hasn't been easy, was wondering what could be wrong, did my application right and i also declared the only Canada student refusal i had, please what should i do?

You are not alone, I know another 21st. We have all called, same reason same thing they said. We are just hopeful and can only wait. Nextweek we move.

My wife has a diploma+bsc while I have a pgd +bsc we are evaluating both to stand as 2 certificate, please I wanted to verify if there's anything we should do before evaluating because I will be paying this week,as I read somewhere that someone 2certifcate was evaluated as one by Wes.

Imo, I don't think you have an issue. As long as transcripts can be gotten from the university.
I know for iqas, if you did a diploma then entered uni with it as a direct entry candidate, it will be evaluated as one. Just make your findings well. ALL THE BEST.

What is her AOR? Let her raise a webform attaching the two documents with an LOE to that effect.

3. My POF was initially for single person. However, my father-in-law gave us a wedding gift which sums up above the Family of 2. We also notarize a gift deed which states that F.I.L is giving us the money out of free will. The Gift has been fixed. We are doing this process to avoid delays when IRCC eventually responds. Is this too forward?.

I am well within my processing times. I recently just did my biometrics 3 weeks ago, after my AOR on Dec 7th.

I’m elated and over the moon.
First attempt I wasn’t prepared at all at all Due to work, I just went to write hoping for the best.
Second attempt I was very prepared but got lost during listening Cbt
Third attempt again got lost during listening cbt
Fourth attempt I took paper and made a silly mistake , I didn’t indent or paragraph my work in writing , I didn’t finish my reading test , tbvh the reading test was very tough this time.
Fifth attempt I put all my mistakes together and forged ahead. I used IELTS Liz mainly , IELTS fast track for listening tips. Then this IELTS master free module that idp gives I used it alongside Liz for writing and that thing was very very helpful. Watched all Liz videos .
Tips for speaking I got it from Don Oliver on the idp IELTS instagram page and that was it.

For me, in the address column I filled my school address as my my accomodation address during my school year.

During my law school for 1yr, I added the law school address as well in the address column, then ended with my current home address to make a complete timeline.

As per, loe, I am not sure, let others weigh in, I personally think it shouldn't be an issue sha. Most of my travel history was during ASUU strike and work, it carried my home address. So if the loe will make u sleep well, raise the cse.

no I did not. IOM cancelled all Upfront medicals for the most of December. So I attached the confirmation mail that was cancelled, letter of cancellation from IOM n payment details in the medical folder.

The only thing I can say as why u submitted without upload is if your 3months was about to expire. Kai.

This happened to alot of people, I personally had to wait extra 3weeks to get a date with qlife, due to cancellation. Sadly I don't even know how to advise you, look for ns email and send them email. People were advised severally to not submit but wait till they get a medical date. All the best

I kindly need the help of the Gurus.
I submitted EE through FSW application in December 2020. I did Upfront medicals at IOM on 19th of January, 2021. I sent the medical slip via web form and also mail to all the emails address for Visa offices that I saw on some threads here. I got response from Hong Kong and New Delhi that my VO is Nova Scotia and I should send to them directly. Have tried searching for their email but I couldn’t get it. Although IOM sent a message that my result has been uploaded. I don’t know how else to send the medical slip to Nova Scotia because the slip hasn’t been uploaded.

It’s just 6 working days today. Even without the non straightforward mail, priority is 5-7working days. Now with the mail, it might or might not take extra days. My advice is you wait till next week before thinking of contacting them.

Meanwhile, let me tell u wat they told me wen I sent a paid email: (mine is 19th for dependents)

“...Please note, the priority service does not guarantee that you will receive a decision within certain number of days.

It only means that your application would be put in front of the queue. We aim to complete priority applications as soon as possible however it may get delayed due to several factors.

If it has been over 15 working days for non- settlement applications or 30 working days for settlement applications, please provide the following details:...”

We called too as regards still waiting, they told my spouse decision hasn't been made and that is still within the time frame for processing application and that he should wait till 11th February, if nothing, he should call back so they can escalate it then.

Please how do i go about booking for re-medicals? Sent mail to IOM and Qlife. Iom replied with a link that is not connecting . also Qlife want me to pay before booking. Pls help, anyone with how i can go about it without paying immediately online.

IOM might be ur best bet without paying, if you had booked qlife in jan or Feb, you might not need to pay but it is different now I guess. Swapping might not even help because they do not allow swapping any longer.
