Why are even the contestants forming design lecturers? Why not just enter for the competition and leave others alone? Probably leave the judging to the judges and the e-audience. Smh.

Ayomidewunmi: @yusufu16 you have a nice concept, but there are opinion or let say advice, the techno android ad design looks out of specification, though many designer have follow this root except Folyboy2013 who i believe have create an astonish designs. reasons: you are to advertise bbm on techno android not techno android phones, to my opinion, displaying phones illustrate new release of new model. for example Folyboy2013 as display this, that direct you to what you exactly illustrating without using any phones. you are good designer but need to read more on the principles of designer, good designs are design with a unique symbol but great designs are design with a unique simplicity. amazon logo for example. googluck

Web Contractor: FYI

Last year's ad contest Results

Winner : yusufu16
1st Runner up : lightheart
2nd Runner up : redcliff

Notable Entries
yorme
WilliamCee
ogzille
ogayellow
lincolnpixel

My analysis
Yusufu16
Yusufu16 is all out to win this year's contest.More than every other person,he knows the value of this competition and it is rumored that he made more dough than any other designer on nairaland ads.Simply put,the guy is good.Maybe the best.

Lightheart
Will he improve on his position, or settle for less.Only time will tell.Hope he participates.

Redcliff
This guy does not give up easily,I expect him to still be at the top 3.Will he be the one to topple yusufu?

My Preferences
I wouldnt want any of these 3 guys to carry the crown. No beef.but I will like to see an underdog win this one.Just for the fun of it.
If by the end of today,I don't see any notable entries from some unknown entities in this field,I shall forced to foray into ad designing (that is assuming that it is similar to programming). Just hope,I will come out with my reputation intact.

So guys let the fun continue....
LOL. Smh.

pazienza: So are you willing to admit that your dislike for homosexualism is built around digust, if we agree on this rather than beating around around the bush like you are doing, maybe we can now decide if disgust is enough reason to impose your will on other people's life.
morals, disgust, health complications, culture. Tradition, religious stand point. Civility, and the list goes on and on. A lot more than disgust and they are enough reasons to shut them down. If you want to be gay. Don't ask us to allow you get married or cognizance or whatever. The only rights that will be accorded to you are the rights to privacy. It is filth.

look at you. I am not of the attitude of insulting people to make my point. The said fee for recruitment was brought up by applicants and the minister of interior released a press statement that it was for some kind of access card/code just as you buy to register for NYSC. Why didn't the reps do something then? Now, from what was said last week, more than 500,000 young men and women have registered. Will the reps pay them back or they are looking for another way to steal of blind? Maybe tell the youths, we are collating names so as to pay you back your N1,000, zinox and omatech supply us computers to enable us collate names at different centers or create another web portal to handle that and tell us they need billions to set it up and make it happen? Can't you see your clownish assertions of Nigerians? Wake up, face reality please.

Shame on you. I say, shame on you. You don't want to go the normal course of relationships, but you want to have children? And you see a woman/man and look the other way. Then want children from the one you say you don't want? Can't you see it? It's utter madness. It's confusion. It's silly.

Miss EZ: Lol. Sagamite, abeg no kill me with laugh. I think he sees Sodom and Gomorrah as two different countries (They arent even a country sef, talkless of two).

In any case, i am not advocating for an acceptance of homosexuality. I however think that criminalizing it makes people who subscribe to this lifestyle easy targets and that is where the violation comes in. They have a right to association and affiliation and that include religious, sexual, traditional etc. I still maintain that who a person sleeps with is a private matter and has no bearing on the economic development of the country.

Nigeria should definitely state their view on the issue, but i really think that making it a criminal offence was very unnecessary and the law is a silly at best.

Speaking of which, I have to commend you and the way you state your points. Nigerians can be silly sometimes during an argument. I have been reading the response and it is annoying to see people calling others gay because they dont think the law makes sense. There is something called respect for another persons belief and lifestyle. I dont have to agree with it. Respect doesnt equal support. You seem to understand this and it shows in the way you respond to differing point of view.
did you say freedom of religious association? Someone called the bible a book of fairytales. I forgive him/her. Now, in Christianity there is a stipulated way for unions. And its where a man leaves his parent's home and joins with a woman. That's the stand from a religious point of view. If they want to be homosexuals, they shouldn't make noise about it. Peeps who commit adultery don't come making noise about it or pestering anyone to accept it as a new fad. My stand is if you want to be gay, be gay in your closet. Don't bug anyone about it.

36STATES: My instict is always to accept whatever majority of Nigerians oppose and reject whatever they accept. You don't need a rocket scientist to prove to you that Nigeria doesn't move with the rest of the civilized world. I am sure the rest of the civilized world laughed at our delegation for their infantile arguement for declaring war on gays while the whole country is in darkness because of lack of electricity which Ghana have been enjoying non stop for the past 12 years. It is through issues like these that one begins to realise the level of rot in our educational system and the damage it has wrought. This country called Nigeria is inhabited by the lowest form of human life, you see it by the level of greed and corruption accross the nation. I bet you, it is only in Nigeria and few medeaval countries like Agfanistan, Pakistan, Yemen etc, that 92% of the population will be against homosexual reletionship.
you need help. Then, of you have to be a Christian you need sanctification. So, since we refuse to accept homosexuality we are now medival? Lol. You need the saving grace and healing power of the Lord. The very God that created you. And most of your spellings are even wrong. so, your opinion doesn't matter.

Sincere 9gerian: I thought some propagandists said the cars were bought for N225 million each? What is in that report is N225 million for both. What then is the current market value of the vehicles? Atleast if that is known we'll be able to objectively tell whether the cost was inflated or not.

Now more facts have emerged.
https://www.nairaland.com/1483972/bought-n225m-bulletproof-cars-operations

We know for sure that Tinubu dogs will never accept these explanations. But whether they accept it or not, it is now established that the cars were budgeted for and DUE PROCESS was followed. Those are the MOST IMPORTANT fact.

However, Tinubu internet dogs are free to continue in their lamentations and emotional seizures, like they've always done from day ONE.

Mayb because Tinubu dogs are so used to Tinubu's corrupt practices, they'r always quick at tagging everything corruption, misappropriation, etc. But now that the FACTS are out, they can take back those terms, which we all know are synonymous with their master, Tinubu. When ever the word corruption is mentioned, the first name that comes to mind is Tinubu. He is the greatest corrupt politician of ALL TIME.

Back to the issue at hand, I think the only term that perfectly describes the act of the minister of aviation in authorizing the purchase of those vehicles is the words used by Oby Ezekwesili. She described it as "obscene luxury". Investing that much in 2 vehicles raises in moral questions. And I think ministers should take into account the realities of our time before taking certain decisions so as not to appear insensitive.
please, what is wrong with you?

eddiebruk: Now let me tell you something sir, It will be difficult explaining to primary school children that the President is actually the Chief of Arm force, so instead of bringing in such title in such situations, the title is now actually being excluded when he would be addressed in such occasions. even as it is right now, not everyone knows the head of the Military in Nigeria, he only wants to be addressed as the Chief of Arm force only in Military Functions. and i think that is a good idea
I have read all you've been writing. I couldn't keep quiet neither could I read your views. Permit me to say that your assertions are nonetheless nonsense. The constitution stipulates that the president of the federal republic be also referred to as the commander in chief of the armed forces of the country in the 1999 constitution as amended. You made reference to how children will be taught that the president is also the commander in chief? are you really serious? What are they in school for? If you can't comprehend that, you have no business being in school. It is expedient to note that the constitution of the federal republic is above all else. If he suggests he doesn't want the title isn't that a dereliction of onus? You might argue with gov. Oshiomole and gov. Aliyu both made such moves, but at the end of the day till tomorrow they will be referred to as governors if they like they can claim comrade and chief servant.
