God wasn't angry in the old testament. He was only following the covenant He had with humans then. Also, He was trying to show mankind that they can never be perfect because perfection comes with adhering to the instructions He, God, had given, and if a fraction out of 100% of the Law was not adhered to, He will come with the consequences as agreed with them.

This is wrong. In that sense you are saying God is changeable which contradicts the unchangeable God that He is..

I mean I'm been honest here when I say the issue I have with the bible is how God is been portrayed in the old testament

God is loving God but will strike you down if you don't worship him..

The bible was written by men.. Any man or group of men can write a bible and claim it was the holy spirit that give them vision to write it

There are too many contradiction in the bible

1. God said thou shall not kill but He orders Israelites to attack and kill every man,woman and child of some of the kingdoms conquered by them

2. Zephaniah 2: 1-3 Talks about the wrath of God
While Psalms 103: 2-5 contradicts the wrath of God but talks about how very merciful God is

3. Book of Nahum 1:2-3, 6-7
This is a clear case of contradiction of the character of God in the old testament

MY THOUGHTS

I think no human can fully understand God..
God is like the Sun
On earth we feel the heat of the Sun but we can't touch the sun
The sun is too bright you can't stare it with naked eyes
The sun is so hot, you will melt from its radiation the second you come close to it

The way we see the sun from earth is entirely different from how astronauts see the sun outside space.

On earth the sun is just a ball of yellow light
In space the sun is gigantic ball of fire

On earth as humans we see God in our own earthly view.
The bible only described God from a mans humancentric point of view. We attributed human like qualities to God. But that is not the full picture of who and what God is.

Just like we see the sun from earths point of view which is a small yellow ball of light.. We could say that is the real shape of the sun.

Until we go to space outside of earths view then we see a very huge ball of fire and see the real true shape of the sun.
CONCLUSION
The bible is humans viewing God from a hMankindsrspective. But God is not human
God is not jealous
God can't be bribed with offering and gifts or money
God is way beyond what a human brain can phantom

God is like a high voltage and we humans are like a small lightbulb. The bulb can't carry high voltage it will explode.
So a transformer is needed to reduce the high voltage and make it easy for the light bulb to carry.
Same way humans can't understand God until it is broken down into our own human understanding.

This is why Jesus was sent . Jesus is the transformer that breaks down the high voltage (God) into human experience.

Jesus is a very clear example of the true nature of God.
Jesus mission on earth was to abolish the old teachings of old prophets like moses which all spoke about the wrath of God.
God had to send Jesus to come and destroy such old beliefs about him.

That is why the old testament is nothing but misunderstandings of the true nature of God.

Jesus fixed that in the new testament

By re defining who and what God is

God does not judge ( saving Adulterous woman from stonning which is symbolic of the law of Moses which signify the wrath of God)

God cares more about sinners repenting than punishing them ( marry Magdalene)

God does not need money ( flogging people at the temple)

God cares about the well-being of humanity ( healing of the sick and resurrection of dead and other miracles)

God is not interested in wealth and vanity things of the world ( Satan temptation, Jesus born in a manger, his father a carpenter, he drove on an ass on palm Sunday)

Have you thought of the fact that not everyone is as strong as Jesus and job when it comes to challenges

Jesus knew it was very difficult, he cried so much at the garden Gethsemane because he realized how unbearable it will be to pass through one of earths hardest programs "the crucifixion" as the symbol of this event is a cross. Jesus carried his cross and was still forgiving those who put him in misery.. Jesus knew that his soul development will be highest after passing through this difficult earth program

The more difficult the earth soul development program the higher the reward for the soul as it moves and graduates into 4th 5th or 6th dimension..



Hence the symbol of the cross is there to remind us to carry our cross with the knowledge that we are passing through a test that will transform our soul development into higher beings..

Energy can not be destroyed but transformed from one dimension to another

At death, the body dies but the soul moves to another dimension. Earth is a 3rd dimension which is part of a large system of dimensions from 4th to 8th dimension.

Earth is one of the most difficult dimension to exist in.. The main reason for this is because earth which is a 3rd dimension is at a lower vibration while 4th to 8th dimensions are at a high vibration.

Souls have one main goal which is to develop their level of understanding to reach that of God the creator.

Earth offers a perfect place for souls to increase their soul development. Its like the soul is raw diamond and earth is the burning fire that purifies the diamond making it a solid shiny diamond..

A beginner soul starts its journey of enlightenment at the 1st dimension then to 2nd then 3rd till it reaches the 8th dimension the soul has reached highest point of enlightenment and is one with God the creator

Earth (3rd dimension) is the only practical dimension where you face a lot of challenges that shapes and creates your identity as a soul.

This has made earth a training ground for souls to learn,explore,experience and create life.

Earth is an action dimension where all our beliefs and mindset are tested
A beginner soul needs soul development in order to reach 8th dimension
Earth is the only dimension that speeds up this soul development which souls need to go higher

All our experience whether good,bad or horrible all contribute to our soul development as these experience teach us more about life, love and God.

For some souls the experience on earth can be overwhelming for them to carry.
Note that all failure, success, tragedy,sadness, happiness are programs offered by Earth in order to shape and tune our soul development.

It is through these programs of trials and tribulations we develop habits, personal identity and a much larger understanding of who we really are. Which is the main goal of soul development..

So how does Suicide relate

Suicide is to cut short the soul development program..which creates a great deal of confusion and stagnation for the soul.

Souls are meant to continue the earth program for soul development no matter how difficult it might get.

Jesus showed us the way to face the difficult programs of earth. Jesus was tortured,beaten humiliated but he NEVER COMMITED SUICIDE..

Jesus passed his earth program which increased his soul development to a much higher level..


Same with Job after passing through his rigorous earth program, his soul development was at a higher level which made God bless him abundantly..

Re incarnation offers a 2nd chance for souls who failed their earth programs to come back and repeat those same experience they failed but this time in a different place and time to prepare the soul to be eligible for transfer to the next dimension.

Christian will quote bible like idots because they fail to realise the bible has much more deep encoded messag es which can get misunderstood and mis translated using our little minds and earthly views and way of thinking to understand such a deep complex book called bible..

Even Jesus spoke in a manner of deep encoded messages, which include parable's that serve as stories that did not happen in real life but had a deep message behind them.

Don't read the bible in verbatim, you will be misguided

You need a deep mind to read and understand the word of God... Not following it literally as it is written because a lotvof the words in bible were mistakenly translated from old Hebrew into English and other languages..

This caused more division into the Anglican, methodist, Presbyterian and more

Church in the early Christian era has changed so much now with introduction of man-made doctrines and rules thus dividing each other instead of union.

This proves that the term church is not a physical place or house but its the temple inside you.

God visits that temple inside you, that temple is called the church.. Not a physical building but a place in your mind..

That is why so many atrocities happen in the church buildings because God does not dwell in physical objects like churches and statues but God dwells inside the temple of your mind which is inside you.

If your mind( temple) is clean without negative thoughts then God can easily dwell in you but if your mind is corrupted with negative influence then evil spirits will dwell in your mind (temple)..

Our mind or temples is the place inside us that is reffered to as "Church" because it is constantly been possessed by either Godly spirits or evil spirits depending on our thoughts and action..
