I arrived early October and by God’s grace I have worked at least 3jobs. I am still working two. If you want jobs you’d find jobs. There are jobs. I didn’t use upto 3weeks before I started working. Keep your opinions to yourself please and stop generalising with the experience(s) you have had with people in your space. If you are new here, simply talk to people who have been here, they’d put you through. Don’t be an island.

You do not need Transit Visa. I am using that route by next week. Please make sure you have your Yellow Fever Vaccine Card for Cotonou.

Please can you confirm that an account statement from 26th of July to 23rd of August is okay for my visa application (that’s exactly 29 days I think). I’m trying to beat time and submit my application asap.

Will 29 days be suspicious or questionable?

Goodmornung duchess and everyone here. Pls I had my tb test screening with IOM early July and I was asked to carryout a sputum test which I did. But I am tired of waiting on them for the 8- 10 weeks duration for my result. And I have gone for another xray with a different private hospital and my xray was normal which was initially abnormal in iom. The thing is am thinking of booking with Q life in other to carry out and another screening but, I don't know if this will be an issue because I personal feel the approved hospitals for uk screening will all be registering on the same site. So I am confused because I don't want them to raise any issue on it. So please duchess wat do u think and also any one that has been through this and scaled through could suggest to me, I mean if you have encountered this personally and scaled through. Please I am open to suggestions because time isnt on my side my course start date is 18th of Sept. I await your response

I have received Visa Alert and BRP mail has dropped. Glory be to God!!!

Initially I had 15M as POF for both MA and a dependant before Naira floatation but at the point of visa
application only MA used the whole amount below is the analysis:

Tuition balance is £5k
MA maintenance outside London £9,207
Total £14,207

MA did biometric on July 4 with total cash of 15M in the account then. Oanda rate that day stated that
13,802,986,583 was due for MA out of 15M ran for 30 days

Collection mail dropped on July 14 and BRP mail dropped on July 15

Now, I have added 6.7M to the 15M in MA's account to be run for 28 days for dependant that require £6120.

*My question is if the 6.7M is sufficient for depedant after 28days, i hope ECO will not bother to check
prevailing rate for the existing 15M again since MA has been granted visa*


Please hope I am on track!

Tips:
For TB test, I had issues registering on their portal and making payment. If you encounter issues, just send them an email stating your passport details, where to and date you want. If you don’t get a reply within 3 working days, please go there and see the customer service showing them your email, they’ll fix you a time.



If you made a not so serious and non personal mistake when filling your visa application form, and you noticed after you have paid for ihs and visa fee, but before your biometrics, instead of canceling the application and restarting, which takes 4-6weeks to refund your money, you can write a cover letter and cross the mistake out on your application print out , then upload it as part of your documents submitted.

I got banned for a year sometimes around June due to an information about the UKVI exchange rate, gotten from their website I innocently posted to help. Thank you @justwise for a good job to ban unsolicited or incorrect information, and thanks for reconsidering my appeal and unbanning me, my apologies once again and I’ve retraced my steps.

Dear my Seniors,

Pls advise us on this challenge.

MA is my wife and we are about to apply for visa. We both went for TB test at IOM today. I was cleared of the test but my was wasn't because she had surgery at a tender age of pneumonia.

Doc said she has to do sputum test for 3 days and the result won't be out until 10 weeks! and deadline for sch resumption is February 20th.

I told the doc that if she has TB, will I not have been infected with our children for the 9 years we have been dwelling together. She said that's the clinic rules.

Does anyone know how long it takes qlife clinic to give test result of xray and sputum for TB?

Pls advice!!!

Your POF calculation is correct

The USD amount for visa and IHS will depend on your bank exchange rate plus charges. My advise is to work with a black market conversion figure for the dollar value although it will be less than that.
