Funny guy! Don't worry, the injustice in Nigeria is enough to get to everyone. Just calm down, it will get to you sooner than later, and you will come back here to beg Nairalanders to donate money for you, Lol!!!
Exactly my point! That’s a judge that’s being paid with our tax money.

Your properties worth N400m are being held for accusation of owing N18m, why not just pay the N18m and move on?

That's what I'd do if found in that situation. No need making trouble where I can avoid it.
Read the article boss. He wrote a check of 20m but was returned that he wasn’t owing.

point of correction. no legal business of any man would take care of his 6years expenses in a hotel of that magnitude. you cannot ball like that on a legal source of income except you have decided to go bankrupt at one point.
Poverty talk!

poverty talk. seems you didn't read the article. he is a business man. You don't host your business partners, have international conference at your home,do you?
You dey mind their mentality? They judge people too quickly before knowing their story or reasons. Even though they have no obligations to tell them the reasons for their actions.

BafanaBafana:
why would someone live in a hotel when he can obviously rent an apartment for himself.
could it be the blood money issues we hear about in movies?
meanwhile, he has all this money and he cannot give the judge small something to do wedding for his son. And they say he is a philanthropist
Now you are part of the problem!

What obligation does he has to give the judge money for his sons wedding?

He’s being paid a salary with your tax money to do his job, why should he be bribed before he can do his job!

Philanthropist doesn’t mean he must throw away cash to every dic.k and Harry for whatever reason!

Wake up!

I hate to say this but it’s the truth. We are in not capacity to compare with any of the small African nations. We need to shuush our mouth and face our problems.

I’d rather live in Porto Novo or Accra than live in Lagos again ... why? It’s saner out there! And some system works!
Foreign Affairs › Re: How Rwanda Became The Singapore Of Africa- Cleanest Country In Africa by sunboy(m):
That tiny Rwanda with its very small GDP does not means that it is not prosperous.

That tiny country with its small GDP manage to have stable power supply while the almighty Giant of Africa cannot even boast of a steady power supply in its capital city Lagos alone!

Other African countries will definitely move forward, and faster than us ... as long as we are still voting along tribe, religion lines.

We don’t vote merit in this country, it’s strictly who has the most money to share. We manage to vote and re-vote an old man who was part of our national problems.

I just tire!

Nigeria my country!

Next thing, you will hear the president setting up a committee to look into this. Nothing gets done until it affects the rich and the poor. If it’s affecting only the poor then it’s non existence.

Another guess, what if the ILS was suppose to be upgraded to CAT lll “on paper”? And some people already shared the money allocated for it simply because the obsolete one is still working so nobody would know anything.

Me I just tire!

Well it is not impossible for public figures to get diplomatic passports, many islands grant diplomatic passport to select public figures as gift or in exchange of cash. check up dominican and granada diplomatic passports, Diezani Madueke still got a diplomatic passport from the Dominican republic after she left office in Nigeria.
In exchange for cash, that is shady! People do that to get immunity against their fraud allegations. Next!

There are two things involved;
1. It’s either someone is trying to scam you, calling themself your family and you agreed out of greed..
2. You scammed someone and you demand that they send money through fedex.

You won’t find anyone help here unless you are truthful about your situation.
