You give good advice. The illness the child has is only found in the US and Europe and the bible. I have not seen it here in Nigeria and if the husband has a child with such ailment, chances are that it's in his lineage and a baby is coming from the same loins. My hands are full of children hence I will reject the offer but the woman is yet to have one, let her prevent the calamity coming her way by showing kindness to the child.

Alright everyone welcome once again. You have all spoken well even our resident motivational speakers have all said it as its supposed to. I thank you all.

The WHY for this thread is to create a space where we the disabled in this forum can identify ourselves, share information and what not and even organise ourselves when the need arises for a course because its as if we don't have a voice in this forum.

I believe that engaging ourselves in this sort of comradeship will have benefit in the long run.

Some of us have gone through phases where we have contemplated ending it all and giving up. A group like this where its members can share information, life testimonies and insights, can provide the needed succour.

Surely we need all the help that we can get.

For those of us thinking that this is a bad idea I wish to hear your own side.

Personally i don't like joining such association cos humans are wicked, i can give many instances where the so called normal people gather disabled individuals for their interest, i mean, all the benefits realized are channeled towards their life rather than giving even little to the disabled people. Also, there are instances where some of our disabled members feels that they are more educated, have connection or rich who uses such association for their financial gains. that is why i don't use to identify with any association.

BTW, i'm not the op, i think i am talking too much already. l

I don't know where she is , the first time I set my eyes on her was the day she dropped the child and I don't think I have any business with her. I am a woman like her she has her reason for dropping her off because taking care of such a child requires a lot of money too. My hubby is not financially stable he couldn't provide for her needs while she couldn't too so her only option was to drop her off with us and I can't also do it. The only option I have is to leave too she is his child he will find a way to take care of her. I don't think nigerian government provides care for such people. The only place he went they said they are happy to keep her in and they will provide all her care but he must pay 200k every month which he can't afford.
