Sibrah: That's 60+ times 72 virgins for taking. Nice! There is a virgin shortage now and so they may have to "satisfy each other" |
...and power to the "civilian JTF", they have my salute! |
With a 7million dollar bounty on his head I wonder why my Igbo brothers never enter the hunt . Boko Hunting is now business
Bounty hunting is lucrative in general. However, it is a different dynamic when the person/people you are hunting is willing to take his own life too along with others at any instant. |
In the quest to look different and stand out you then run the risk of ending up looking ridiculous ![]() |
Afam4eva: It looks like an accident though. This is an isolated case as i don't know how often police cars are accidented. Though, the governor should have looked at using a stronger car.Even if they were driving Bentleys the case would have been the same and an accident will always damage the car. I agree though, it looks like an isolated incident and ultimately what should be the gauge of the success of this program would be reduced crime, increased public safety etc in Enugu. |
tempest01: i think we should shut down all other aspects of this country and focus on power with a one year plan. all old and morbid facilities should be brought down, and new plants raised up from the scratch with modern standards. National grid should be decentralised and gas, coal (and other available resources) plants should be used for the south while Hydro, solar etc for north.Imagine if the same scenario was played out in the human body: To attain good health you shut down all systems (including 'waste management') and just focus on eating healthy. I doubt if that human would survive more than a week. That said, your point on the importance of reliable power supply is very valid. Power generation/supply is a critical public infrastructure that is required in our nation in order to sustain and aid our economic growth and the livelihood of people. It can be one of the major milestone achievements of the current administration if they are successful. Kudos to their efforts so far but they will only be judged based on results and not on press releases! |
ertekaoyo: This is merely a figment of the writer's warped imagination. She didn't undergo any surgery to acquire an aquilin nose job. Haven't you equally noticed That she's maturing with age?Very interesting.... so as a lady "matures" her nose will become slimmer??.... hmmmm .... ![]() |
really sad and the video is even online |
I like her rhinoplasty! It's her prerogative and she looks really good. ( Rhinoplasty , okay? Do we really need to insult the person at this particular moment of their lives? They know they have a big nose, that's why they're coming in. Do they really need the abuse of being compared to a rhinoceros on top of everything else © Seinfeld ) |
Sky Blue: Address the issues raised and leave the smart retorts to the professionals. South Africa has a better power record than India (easily). China has a better power management record than India (easily). It is about competency. Unless you can find any where I have complained about MTN who provide services that Nigerians in fact rely on, I suggest you just walk on. India suffers from the same problems Nigeria suffers from, corruption being a major issue. If we are going to be led to greater heights I would prefer we be led there by people actually at greater heights - with a majority Nigerian share hold.I think you may be mixing up some issues : Tata is a private company and not an Indian government representative. It is true that the Indian government has issues of corruption and many cites in India do not have reliable power but I think those issues have to do with their goverment than TATA. The Tata group is worldwide and has massive investments and various diverse operations all over the world. Tata powers the commercial capital city of Mumbai and those sections in mumbai has reliable power supply pretty much all the year round. You are correct that such a huge infrastructure project needs to be asequately monitored because of the sensitive nature but we have successfully seen this in our mobile telecommunications sector privatised without any problems. I don't think enforcing nationalization of such a sector is necessary as long as we do the necessary and effective regulations. Tata power company : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tata_Power |

Young boy has some moves. Btw, did Psq lose his voice? |
Okay oh - I read your points but like I said before, usage of profanity, N words etc is really not necessary. We can agree to disagree ...... at the end we are both happy Serena won. |
bee444: No point continuing this conversation with you. Only a shallow individual would argue that the Williams hasn't been victims of what is called "institutionalized racism". You're one of the conformist who believe everything they hear or see on TV. Williams at one point got tired of the ranking system...she won all major and minor competition, yet they never moved her up the ranking.Years back, she tried acting, modelling and thought about going back to University to study for a degree. In her memoir, she complained about the harsh reality of being successful and colored in the midst of "powers" (if you know what i mean). You're too young, naive and lack basic understanding of how things work. So to make your point, you decide to make personal attacks...smh? You can state your points in a civil manner (and i will accept them) without resorting to such uncouth comments. That is how adults have a matured and meaningful discussion all over the world irrespective of colour or race. ![]() |
bee444: You dont get it, do you ? Skin color is for the naive and bias BBC pundits, the gullible pubic perception, the board at the ITA, ATTA, and so onHave the sisters ever complained about racism?? Why are you bringing it up - just curious. It's not like football where in many places in Europe the African footballers hear racist chants against than. The tennis crowd is generally more refined than the football crowd. |
bee444: Irrespective of naive and bitter public opinion, Serena always get the job done. Thats the heart of a true champion. Sharapova is there darling, Serena is the nightmare they never wanted to see when they woke up.why you de bring skin color into this? The true tennis fans all over the world root for Serena irrespective of her race |
Forgive my ignorance but how does he make his dough? |
I don't follow tennis that much but the way the sisters have dominated the sport is really amazing and exciting. We may never witness this in a long time and so should appreciate it while they are at the top of their game. |
