Gbawe: I did. Any problem with that? This is a thread I participated in where I urged some to leave aside bitter, hateful and vendetta-driven politics. It is very pertinent and entirely in order today to 'resurrect' this thread that shows the hypocritical outlook of some people who always operate with a mindset clouded by hatred for others. It is deplorable some openly justified their call for the Yorubas, who voted for GEJ and made him President, to be "punished" in 2011 while they who showed Buhari and the APC nothing but disdain and almost 100% electoral rejection are now at the forefront of making demands.
It is important to highlight the historical behaviour of some posters because the manner those people embrace wholesale revisionism to be accusing the Yorubas of wrongdoing today is nauseating given that their old posts are still here which damn them as vendetta-driven and irredeemable haters and hypocrites.
You too, if such is in your character, can take lessons from how the Yorubas behaved which is very distinct from the tantrum-centred behaviour of your kinsmen today, after GEJ's loss, simply because they fail to understand that politics is always about permanent interest and not permanent friends or enemies. The message is simple. If you are a decent person then you will see that all that has transpired means the only alternative you are left with is to tell some of your folks to stop politics of hate, "chop sand" vendetta and bitterness. When the shoe is now on the other foot we can all see that the Yorubas are not advocating for anyone to be "punished" or "starved". We merely want all Nigeria and the SW to make progress under Buhari and Osinbajo. it would be nice if others put their hatred aside to key into this also. I don't know why Nigerians have to make the simple concept of politics delivering socio-economic progress a retrogressive obsession with focusing on the past. I still cannot understand the logic being their orgasm in 2011, after we voted for GEJ. We were the ones that spearheaded his becoming a president from VP, when Yar Adua was in a comatose state. The same sets of.id1ots are.now the one shouting Buhari must be the president of all. Yes, that is what we want from Buhari. What audacity do they have to even say such? Shameless people. The best they can ever do in their lives is either to be giving lame ultimatum or beating their chests and threatening fire and brimstone that will never come. |

Magnani-gini?
If he does not want to be magnanimous, what would he have done? Max, he would have refused to accept the election result like Gbagbo and end up like him and Gadaffi.
When will Jonathan and his clueless ministers continue to address issues as they are. Why can't they just tell Nigerians what were the impossible demands being made by GMB's transition team?
They are still sticking to the same strategy of lies that cost them the election. |

OoduaVanguard: This bile and hatred exhibited in this thread by the Flatt heads against the Yorubas clearly show that their hatred for us runs deep and didn't start as a result of GEJ's recent loss. Consequently, I have resolved to hit then back, fire-for-fire, from hereon, and dedicate myself to the noble goal if ridding every single one of them that holds us in contempt from Yorubaland, so help me God. I have been on NL since 2006. I did not join this madness until 2011, after watching for 2 good years how those bastards were saying rubbish about us. I finally took the decision you are just taking in late 2011 and I have no regret whatsoever. They have learnt to calm down on NL to a large extent. |

Defeating their sectarian President is a bitter pill for the chest beaters to swallow.
Do they have a choice? This thread typifies a typical chest beater. Despite all their noise in 2011.
It's even funny, because we voted en masses for GEJ then, and see all the rubbish they were spewing, as at then.
Indeed, they lack foresight l, just like their forefathers that cannot evolve into statehood and their fathers that rushed to war with matchete and cassava sticks. |

@Gbawe
Thank you for bringing this thread up.
See all the rubbish those descendants of wandering Cain wrote. I have always said that they are the architect of GEJ's non-performance and political demise.
They are clamouring for punishment of SW? The same SW those akpu filled chest beating ingrates keep trooping to like ants. Shameless bunch of irritants. Check out the venom of hatred in them. This was in 2011 that we voted massively for Mr Daft Dumbo, for goodness sake.
Where was SE when OBJ travelled to the north to engage them on why GEJ must take over, during the final days of Yar Adua.
Where is the airport and port they were shouting about! This thread is really infuriating me.
I am so happy that with our machination, GEJ lost. We have made them to realise how political naive and inconsequential they are. They are still learners. While they are busy visiting GMB and begging for the crumbs of master's table, we have moved on to the new calculations for 2019, which they will start doing in January 2019,as usual. |

ayindejimmy: Who is silly now? You quoted someone but failed woefully to address the quote but digress by posting some copy and paste comments presumably from "Hope for Nigeria" In this post, the documentary AIT aired is not the issue but whether Buhari was on point barring AIT from covering is private functions having in mind he is not yet President. How about addressing that and stop derailing the topic Whether Public or Private functions of GMB, AIT has been declared personal non grata. If they are aggrieved, they should go to court. |

Sunnybobo3: The defence building is a public building. It is a public building with restricted access. That is why people are accredited and screened before being granted access into such building. For now, AIT is a security threat, they are personal non grata around the same public building. Shikena. So, because Defense House is a public building, Shekau too can request for unrestricted access to the building, for him to uphold his fundamental human right. I dey laff. I repeat, AIT will not be allowed into any space around GMB and there is nothing Dokpesi can do about it. |

zendy: I also want say to people who call Ojukwu a coward to endeavour to read up on the Nigerian civil war. It's funny that a man who took on the might of the Nigerian Army,Britain,Russia and Egypt can be called a coward. They say that Ojukwu caused the deaths of millions of his people. Freedom does not come cheap. It purchased in blood. We Igbos will forever respect and revere Ojukwu for leading us in our quest for emancipation from Nigeria. Millions died in the struggle for freedom not the struggle for Ojukwu. Ojukwu was merely the leader of a movement not the movement its self. A lot of people who suffer 'slave mentality' will not be able to understand that people are willing to give up their lives in other to be free. Ojukwu was a great hero. A lot of people that suffer from "dogmatic herd mentality" are the only set of people on planet earth that can describe Ojukwu's Usain Bolt Action as an act of bravery. For more discerning and learned minds, it is an act of cowardice at its peak. Ghandi was not the movement but he went to prison instead of his people. Mandela was not the movement but he went to.prison instead of his people. Martin Luther King Jnr was not the movement but he was killed rather than his people. Mother Theresa was not the movement but he endured the hardship with her people. Eternal Stupidity is making a coward your leader. Shikena |

AIT is a disgrace to the noble profession of journalism in Nigeria, with their brand of "mercenary journalism".
A good brand was corrupted because of a pot of porridge.
