your arguments are blind, lame and vindinctive. You know it. If boro case was genuine in seceeding, where are the nigerdeltans who stood and protested with him?
Really!!!!!

Have you not heard Dokubo and other ND militants always making reference to Adaka Boro, in respect to continuation of his struggle?

I am not vindictive in anyway. Just making you to realise that whatever makes the call for Biafra genuine is what makes the Republic of Niger Delta genuine, taking into cognisance an Ibo man, Aguiyi Ironsi, crushed the dream of reality of The Republic of Niger Delta.

Simple.

are you these shallow? Do you hear seasoned pundits comparing boro's militia to biafra? Biafra's case was genuine and urgent, because of the continuous progroms and genocidal tendencies against them. Same cannot be said about boro. Biafra came as a result of humanitarian crisis at disturbing proportions while that of boro was simply share of oil. Stop deceiving yourself.
Really!!! Who is indeed the shallow one here.

Biafra's case is genuine and Boro's call for Republic of ND was not. That is being selfish.

Yours was based on humanitarian crisis (using your words), while his was based on resource control.

The bottomline is both were tending towards secession, based on what they believed was genuine to them.

The same way you are making us to realise that Adaka Boro's call for session was not genuine, is the same way we have been telling you that your call for secession was not genuine. Period.

again, childish comparisons. Boro's people were not molested, raped or killed, it was only his fellow militiamen that were attacked. Also, not all ijaws supported boro, because there would have been an open demonstration by niger-deltans if there were. Adekunle-Awo were enemies of the eastern region, so they became willing puppets in the hands of their northern masters.
Another round of balderdash.

The root discussion is not killing or rap.e etc. It is secession. Adaka Boro tried to secede and Ironsi crushed it. Ironsi's people tried to secede too, Gowon crushed it. Simple.

The same way Ojukwu and Zik were enemies of the Western Region. They were willing tools in.the hands of the Balewa and Sardauna against the West and Awolowo, before their relationship went sour.

Let's agree with u that asari got "little". Question is what did he do with it in terms of positively impacting d lives of his kin? If he got little, y did he take it 2 benin republic and not invest in ND? Or do u think its N1,000 he used in building his university in cotonou? What about tompolo who has a private jet. Is it "little" u use in buying and maintaining a private jet? D president acquired a 700hectare land in abuja and he said its meant 4 farming. Y didn't he acquire such a land in bayelsa 2 help d people there? U feel outsiders have an obligation 2 develop d ND, when d indigenes don't even care. It doesn't work that. Niger deltans must begin asking their leaders 2b accountable 2 them if not nothing

i know the game u are trying to play, it childish...but believe it or not, it was adekunle, a willing tool in the hands of northerners that killed him. Type 'Gamji+who killed boro? ' on google and help yourself.
I am not playing any game, just following your line of thought that glorifies Ironsi for preventing secession and selectively demonising Gowon for preventing same.

From northerner to Adekunle? The finger pointing keeps changing.

Before there could be a killing or murder, there must be a motive.

What will be the motive of Adekunle for killing Adaka Boro?

Let the world see the strength of the motive that can warrant Adekunle killing his compatriot at arm.

gowon was a nationalist who had blood of millions of women and children in his hands. Not until recently, boro was celebrated esp by the ijaws, ask other tribes, they will raise an eyebrow.
Every dick and harry knows boro was snuffed by the northerners. Shikena.
He is a nationalist that prevented the compromise of national integrity and sovereignty of the Nigerian State, at whatever cost. That is patriotism.

The same way Ironsi demonstrated same to crush Adaka Boro's dream of Republic of Niger Delta.

When you are talking, talk with facts and figures. Shows us evidence that authenticates your claim of northerners killing Adaka Boro.

If you are basing your claim on your tales by moonlight story, then my version of the tales by moonlight story says Igbos killed him, for fighting on the side of Nigeria. How about that?

that was because ironsi was a nationalist who had little patience for militia. Secondly, boro acted without the consensus of the entire niger-delta people, not all niger-deltans are ijaws, some niger-deltas were efik, ibibio, bekwara, kalabari, and even igbos. Its a shame boro was killed by the same people he allied with against biafra.
Whatever makes Ironsi a nationalist to stop secession, is what makes Gowon one too.

If he does not have the backing of his people, they will not be celebrating him.

There is no proof that Boro was killed by the people he made his allies. How are we sure it was not an Igbo that killed him, out of bitterness for fighting for Nigeria.

lolzzz... Please who is Aguiyi Ironsi? In your entire life how many times have you read or heard Igbos praising him. Aguiyi Ironsi was not fit to be anything other than army general in far away Congo. Aguiyi Ironsi is a GRADE ONE FAIRLURE. Aguiyi Ironsi was only doing the biddens of the born to rule zoo keepers whom he sorounded himself with.

The zoo masters finally killed him when they felt he has outstayed his welcome.

Before you write another thrash. Remember that it is the zoo keepers that gave him power not the revolutionaries. The revolution that children of Lower NIGER ploted and carried just because of a little mistake, someone who has no revolutionary ambition came up and messed the dream and aspiration of our brave men.

May their souls find rest...

Please shove the name of the man somewhere far away when issues of the Lower NIGER & Biafra is been discussed.
You are very funny. Aguiyi Ironsi is now a northerner.

Have you forgotten he stole power from the northerners?

The bottom line is Aguiyi Ironsi killed the dream of realisation of Republic of Niger Delta. Simple as ABC.

Who are the revolutionaries? This guy, you think you are still in the days of red beret wearing brigands calling themselves revolutionaries.

Wake up you are in 2015.

7 pages already and no one has picked holes in the title.

First of all,it is not a platform being constructed. Its an FPSO Integration Yard! FPSO which stands for Floating Production Storage Offloading Vessel.
This will be the first of its kind in Africa, and was brought about by the Total Egina project.Samsung Heavy Industries will be constructing the hull and some modules in South Korea which will be towed to Nigeria and integrated. LADOL was appointed as partner to SHI for this purpose.Another reason for Lagos being the choice was because of the depth of water to accomodate the FPSO.ND waters require additional dredging to accomodate FPSOs,which should be the responsibility of govt.

FYI,sayyu dantata is constructing a similar integration yard on Ogogoro Island....also in Lagos smiley The quay length is going to be 1km,enough to accomodate 3 FPSOs at a time smiley
You want some people to die of heart attack with this new info.

well Adaka Boro saw thought this would happen. He decided to fight by proclaiming a new republic but about 12 days after. The born to rule over came him and he became their mule.

Ojukwu saw this coming, for about 3years blood was flowing all over Biafran land (including lower niger). The zoo keepers with norn to rule mentality blackmailed Adaka Boro into working against Ojukwu. After 3years Biafra lost the battle for freedom.

Today over 40years after the end of the battle which “we“ believe that Biafra lost. Here we are still talking about the same thing.

The yorubas said they are the friends of the Niger Deltans we all are seeing the strenght of their friendship with the Niger Deltans.

Well am watching to see how this new war will end.

God Bless BIAFRA, GOD BLESS LOWER NIGER REPUBLIC...

Ojukwu may GOD rest your soul.
Is it that you people refuse to read and only rely on the lies your uncles are telling you, to make them feel good and look.like superheroes in your eyes?

Was it the northerners that thwarted Adaka Boro's dream of Republic of Niger Delta or Aguiyi Ironsi.

For you information, your Aguiyi Ironsi crushed the dream of Republic of Niger Delta and jailed Adaka Boro for treason.

It's poor planning that causes traffic. This is the exact problem you encounter when you go to the Murtala Muhammed Airport. The road that leads to it from Agege Motor Way, just behind Airforce Base, is just four lanes.
With the projects that are on-going in Lekki axis, I am fearing for that axis in 10years time.

Airport, FTZ, Refinery and Seaport - you can imagine the impact of all those projects in years to come.

Building of ports is on the exclusive list. No one can build a port without FG approval.
Approval is different from owning.

Approval is exclusive duty of FG.

Lekkki Seaport is owned by Private Investors and Lagos State Govt, with minimal investment by FG. FG came into the party very late when it saw the viability.

Just the same way MMA2 belongs to Bi Courtney which is owned by Dr Wale Babalakin.

"NigerDelta" is not a political region, rather, it is an economic region composed of adjacent oil producing states surrounding the actual NigerDelta which is a topological/Geographical .

The Geographical NigerDelta is made up of only Delta, Bayelsa, and Rivers. The Economic NigerDelta is made up of 9 states cutting across SS (all the 6 states, but CrossRiver now stands as a passive member since its claims to oil has been ceded to Akwa-Ibom), SE (Imo and Abia), and SW (Ondo).

The debate here refers to the Economic NigerDelta of 9states, not the Geographical or the Political (better known as SouthSouth).
Thanks for the clarification.

It is only a guarantee of peace, security, conducive environment and access to knowledgeable workforce that can bring this level of investment into your land.

Threatening investors, kidnapping investors, barricading the gates of companies, demanding payments for nothing from companies and hooliganism can never bring such.

Politics › Construction Work Begins On N325bn Lekki Seaport by superstar1(op): 11:26am On May 18, 2015
The management of the Lekki Port Lagos Free Trade Zone Enterprise has announced the commencement of work on the construction of the N325bn Lekki seaport situated in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.

The total value of the marine and land infrastructure for the L port was given as N156bn.

The contractors for the project, the EPC Contractors and China Harbour Engineering LFTZ Enterprise, received an advance payment of N1.42bn from the Lagos State Government at a ceremony held in Lekki on Saturday.

The event was attended by the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority, Alhaji Sanusi Bayero; Head, Corporate Finance, Standard Chartered Bank, West Africa, Mr. Leke Ogunlewe; Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Olusola Oworu; Senior Vice-President/Chief Executive Officer, Africa Region, International Container Terminal Services Incorporated, Jens Floe; and Managing Director, CHELE, Mr. Wang Zhichao, among others.

The Managing Director, Lekki Port, Mr. Haresh Aswani, said, “We are honoured to be part of this promise. We thank the Federal Government of Nigeria and its agency, the NPA, and the Lagos State Government for their support as we look forward to this partnership.

“We congratulate the EPC Contractors, CHELE and our terminal container operator, the ICTSI, on achieving this significant milestone that pushes the project from a development phase into a full construction phase.”

Aswani urged the incoming government to work with private enterprises to build the needed infrastructure in the country.

He added that the Lekki port was a model that could be replicated by providing long term policies that would attract similar investments.

Bayero described the notice-to-proceed on construction issued to the contractors as a quantum leap and expressed the resolve of the NPA to tap into the huge market provided.

He said, “As a port authority, we see potential for growth and strive to make it a reality at all times. A port with a depth of 16.5 metres will allow bigger vessels to berth.

“This will enable our ports to be enormously competitive due to economy of scale and it will have positive macroeconomic impact on Nigeria in terms of employment, taxes and royalties. As we begin the consummation of our strategic alliance with the promoters of this project, the NPA will not waver in its continued support.”

Oworu urged the promoters of the project to ensure its development at a rapid pace so that the port could become operational within the set timeframe.

I just can't phantom it.

Why can't they just face Dokubo, Tompolo, Boyloaf and other militants and ask them what they are doing with the funds being paid

Is it not a sheer molestation of the people of ND, with the siting of Dokubo's investment in another country, despite all his noise about fighting for ND. Hypocrisy.

They now expect others to invest in their land, when their own sons are not even investing there.
