The match is not boring.

If they calm down, Brazil will tear us apart. They are using the speed to destabilise the Brazilians and wear them out.

That statistics is not a true reflection of the match IMO.

we as Nigerians must remind ourselves that we are heirs to great civilizations: Shehu Othman Dan fodio’s caliphate, the Kanem Borno Empire, the Oyo Empire, the Benin Empire and King Jaja’s formidable domain. The blood of those great ancestors flow in our veins ---- Buhari (May 29, 2015)

The Military Command Centre is the Dhq.
For every war expedition, you can create a command centre for that theatre or war front. This eases logistics and curtails bureaucracy.

During the peace time, the MCC can be the DHQ.

Who cares about your opinion?

You think this president is a clueless one?

You are has inconsequential as your opinion.

He has moved the Command Centre (not DHQ) to Maiduguri, which is the proper thing to do, if you do not like it, issue your usual lame ultimatum or head to ICC.

I thought you are a Biafraudian, why stress yourself about Nigerian issues?

GEJ announced intentions of it carrying out, but he never did, and we won't get to know if he would have. But because he didn't terminate it as of then, no one shouted. As long as Buhari keeps announcing plans of terminating the amnesty but not carrying them out, no one will crucify him too.

He can only be crucified for his actions, and not for actions he intends to carry out.
There is an agreement that was signed between the FGN and the militants and which clearly stated that December 2015 as the expiry date without an option of compulsory extension.

PMB informed everybody today that at the expiration of the programme in Dec, he is not extending it. He has only kept the FGN part of the bargain.

The message is strong and clear, go back to the militancy, after the expiration of our agreement, and you shall be treated without mercy like a common criminal.

Thank God for the newly acquired hell firepower of the military.

Simple.

OBJ gung-ho methods was actually what reduced Nigeria's oil output, Yaradua knew you don't solve problems by repeating mistakes that caused them in the first place, had he gone gung-ho, Nigeria's oil output would have continued declining as foreign expatriates would free the war zone!

Yaradua's hand was forced.

It doesn't matter the route they take to get what belongs to them, what matters is that they get using whatever effective means.
Yar Adua made his own decision and he could have chosen to still use OBJ's method of military option, that would have brought more misery on EVERYBODY. Maybe the impact of that option might have been devastating on the nation and everybody, including the wanton destruction of ND. On that I can agree.

He choose peace and worked it out in his own way. For that, he is a hero.

The same way GEJ chose to made the golden call that prevented the nation from going I to full crisis.

It was a choice they chose and exercised the right of their wills to.implement. Therefore, Yar Adua's hands were not tied in anyway.

He was just saner because he was not a military person like OBJ.

My point is that, if Buhari will be terminating the amnesty program, it will be because he wants to, not because GEJ planned doing so, as the OP would have the gullible ones believe.

In other words, there are simply no relationship between GEJ plans to terminate the amnesty program and Buhari plan of doing the same.

Buhari must stand for his actions and not hide behind GEJ plans.
He who comes into equity, must come with clean hands.

If GEJ was not crucified for announcing such earlier on by anybody, then no one can do same to PMB for making his own decision of following the pre-agreed laid down time table of Amnesty Programme.

Yaradua hands were forced as Nigeria's oil output came to an all time low. This was at a time the SS had no feeling of rejection from the Arewa-Odua, imagine what will happen now that Jona loss and the Arewa-Odua plot is fresh on their Minds.

The only way Buhari can successfully shut down the amnesty program is by granting the region their birthright, ie total resource control. That is the just and right thing to do.
I thought you said he was following GEJ's plan.

Yar Adua could have decided to ignore militancy and decide to go gong-ho with full military machine. He chose the path of peace by using his ingenuity to bring about the Amnesty Programme and he gave the region the Min of ND for infrastructural development, the same way GEJ conceded defeat and towed the path of peace.

Anybody fighting for resource control should go to the National Assembly. PMB handles the executive arm and not the legislative arm.

You are the ridiculous one.

The FG led by GEJ had the option of terminating it or renewing it once it expires on December this year, but going by the report of this article, the FG led by GEJ had plan of terminating it in Dec. It's a plan since it is yet to be carried it.

You, my friend are the ridiculous one. Better tell Buhari to start owning up to his own actions.

"LAGOS — The Federal Government,
said, yesterday that it will not go
back on its words to terminate the
amnesty programme for Niger Delta
ex-militants in 2015"
PMB is just following his kinsmen script, Yar Adua, the proponent of the Amnesty Programme.

GEJ lacks the acumen to pull such of.
Politics › Re: Who Set 2015 As End Of Amnesty Program? by superstar1(m): 6:09pm On May 29, 2015
Amnesty is Yar Adua's brain child and not GEJ's.

The expiration date was determined to be December 2015 ab initio.

Just the same way Min of ND is Yar Adua's brain child.

PMB has spoken as the C-in-C and the new Sheriff in town, let any born and unborn son of the devil go to Abuja and engage him on the Amnesty issue.

In case you cannot decode what he said: AMNESTY PROGRAMME IS COMING TO AN END In DECEMBER.

No more free money. If you are pained, go back to militancy and see the full repercussion.

I cant imagine someone who have never been to Osun to come on NL and type ....... Aregbesola is doing nothing in Osun' When i'm a living witness of Ten kilometer road tared in all Local government of Osun and others....
In your judgement, he tarred 10km of roads on each local govt, he fed school pupils etc and you are contented.

Learn to task your leaders more and ask for better bargain. Some of us will task him till strives to achieve more and more.

We cannot allow to rest on his oars. I might not be staying around, but I know what is going on in the state too well.

I should be around next weekend, if you are let's hook up at Ideal Nest to have concrete discussion.

I do tell the Gov's aides and political associates to their faces and they always admit to some and defend someone with reasonable fact.

His major weak point in that government is that Comm for Finance, from Zenith Bank. That arrogant dude thinks he knows something about public sector financing, whereas he is a novice. He knows better now.

It is not about payment of salary, which is very key though, because it forms an integral part of the economy of the state.

What happened to the projects he borrowed full funds for from the banks and they are abandoned now? What happened to the funds?

I was in the state to inspect some on-going personal projects for a week around Oke Fia GRA and I took my time to move round and all I see are abandoned projects which include:

1. Ring Road.
2. Gbongan road.
3. Offa road

What happened to Opon Imo.

He started well and he is ending badly.
Politics › Re: Osun Assembly Approves Creation Of 36 Additional Councils by superstar1(m): 8:45am On May 28, 2015
Aregbe is nothing but mega fraud.

How can a state collect 61bn as excess crude allocation apart from FAAC and JAC, still collected the full sum that were meant to complete some projects as loans from banks and here he is with a lot of uncompleted projects, he cannot pay salary and contractors.

What happened to those monies?

He is busy creating some moribund LCDAs. Is that what the state needs now?

The stup1d opon Imo was a monumental fraud.

The school uniform was another fraud.

Consolidation of schools was a disaster.

The only thing I will not take away from him is he is visionary, but he lacks financial acumen to run a company talk less of a state.
