unless d SU-35 Sudan is getting is a very very scale downed version ,the SU-35 would beat the rafale any day
rafale is equal to su-35, I see a goaless draw or 1-1 no winner if they fight.

How about you wait for more details like numbers. I mean 12 SU35s won't change the balance all that much.
Six su-35 planes from what I hear after asking NAF boys, will defeat any air force in Africa except Egypt, they say its an awac range and capacity fighter jet

nope Morocco dont have the money for this kind of contract ! even the F16, FREMM contract was financed by saudis and emiratis . and the moroccan press start again this story only because two things :

1 saudi are trying to get this S 400 system , and saudis bought them their equipments in the past (arab coalition same for egypt and sudan .) so moroccan media expect the same for saudis this time
2 Medvedev will visit morocco soon after visting Algeria , thats why moroccan press start to imagine a big contract with russia again .

so until now nothing serious
Nobody is sure, so you too cannot be sure unless you are the King of Morocco himself, then I will believe you more than 12 news reports.

Saudi can finance it again, but Morocco has its own money, $23 billion cash reserves in the pocket of the government. Morocco has money is a fact not an imagination.

Same rumors and fake news from 10 years grin , the difference is that in algerian contracts its the foreign official sources that talk about the contract first , or a new material is spotted in service like this Chinese MLRS , algerian press copy the info after and algerian army never publish anything , in other side moroccan press are dreaming alone from 15 years about amur submarins , S300 and sukhoi 30 , 34 grin .

So we will talk about when somemething serious is published .

ps : there is no info about morocco in the link you have put
I saw it in many news reports. You cannot predict what another country will do, Morocco has the money, and USA does not have such weapons, so Russia is the only source for S-400 type of missile. Turkey, a NATO country surprised the world by buying Russian missiles. You cannot predict Morocco, the news said they are on the line for it, not that they have ordered it. Some countries spend 10 years to buy a weapon. More than twelve news media in different countries report Morocco negotiating su-34 jets.

I can give you two web links, twelve is too much.

Sudan’s Military Industry Corporation (MIC-Sudan, Stand 12-D30) BK-3 Burkan precision-guided glide bomb. The weapon has been developed by the SAFAT Aviation Group and is in service with the Sudanese air force. It is cleared for carriage by the air force’s Mikoyan MiG-29, Sukhoi Su-24 and Hongdu A-5 tactical aircraft.

Weighing 270kg, the BK-3 has a blast fragmentation warhead and is suspended from standard 14-in lugs. The weapon has a tail guidance section and a pop-out wing kit that allows it to reach out to 80km when launched from an altitude of 32,800ft (10,000m). Guidance is by a combination of an inertial system with GPS/GLONASS satellite positioning.

Target location co-ordinates can be programmed prior to launch, or updated from the cockpit in flight

Sudan has acquired Su-35 Flanker fighter jets from Russia ahead of President Omar Al-Bashir’s visit to Moscow on Thursday. First batch of Su-35 jets were delivered late last week, Sudanese deputy air force commander, Salahuddin Abdul Khaliq Saeed, announced the deal in March. He told Sputnik news agency that the jets will consolidate Sudan’s defenses for protection from any threat. The number of fighters delivered, however, was not released.

— Majid Mohammed Ali Special to Al Arabiya News English - Khartoum, Monday, 20 November 2017

If the above news is true (Waiting for more reports) then Sudan is now the most powerful air force in Africa after Egypt. Even rafale pilots will fear su-35. Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, sorry for you o!

What is all this trash na?
Looks like thrash to you? It's a satire if you know what that means, but I have removed it. It's less thrash than all the rubbish comments on Mugabe Zimbabwe politics that has taken 10 pages of a military photo thread. Sometime you guys need to think deep and not just post things, there is a difference between "I am not interested in your comment, and "Your comment is thrash".

I did not participate in all the 100 irrelevant comments posted here on Mugabe politics because to me it's thrash and derailment, but I did not attack anybody for expressing their opinions. You guys need to know what internet freedom is, and stop trying to decide for people what is to be posted.

Some guys posted Nigerian defence budget detail here showing expenses, that is where I got my comment from. You did not complain when they posted defence budget PDF pages.

There is a lot of thrash posted daily here by people that you only skip over and you don't complain, like photos and stories of snow and ice in towns of South Africa posted for days here but you don't attack them and call it thrash, that makes you a hypocrite if you dont know.

All the same, I removed my comment, not because it's thrash, I just play cool before I play hot. That comment was a satire with army photos, asking people to think deep why we have to post same equipment repeated 500 times when we spent $10 billion on weapons procurement in 5 years. You guys need to think above Photo-mania, ask yourselves smart questions about the photos you post. I just feel it's insane to post 500 Toyota LandCruiser photos and not even one Nigerian T-90 tank for a $10 billion military budget.

It's a free world, you guys should learn not to make yourselves censors and moderators not appointed by Nairaland.

You all should not turn this thread or forum into a mafia cult arena where some people form cliques and gangs of friends and pals that makes the rules about other people's freedom of speech. It will lead to sudden end of this thread, I warn you all. Thanks.

Stop insisting somebody is another person, leave people's personal I.D. alone and face your own photo posting. I dont make meaningful contributions here as you say, because what is meaningless to you is meaningful to others. I dont spend my life on Nairaland like you expect me to do to be relevant, I have other things to do with my useful life than waste hours daily photo pasting on internet. I don’t feel like arguing with you man, the yahbon story wasn’t picked from any NAF announcement.
Am not dragging any argument. If NAF kept shut about yabhon drone nobody will smell any fish. Announcement is not always formal, CAS can drop a tiny statement while saying a different thing and you pick his next move, because he has announced informally. Sometimes you see them in photos, Abuja guys saw AVM Alex Badeh's photo with a JF-17 plastic model table display and all knew JF-17 is coming in future without CAS saying a word. None of us here is in the sitting room of any chief of air staff to hear all he says everyday. If they dont want anybody to hear shiit, una no go hear anything, everybody just grope in darkness like blind bats. Keep day dreaming that Nairaland gang can know what a CNS, COAS or CAS wants hide from everybody except his topmost hierarchy, like say una be winch to see the invisible.

On Nairaland we have our ways, how do you think Henry predicted the Yahbon drones months in advance before NAF verified the story? The OCEA boats, NNS Karaduwa. Hehehe bros calm down, the secrecy has been nothing but a minor hinderance grin
Yes secrecy is over, but for NA and NN level of public info is still third world backward. NAF is at very very early stage with Russia, no MOU, no paper work, nothing, yet they declare NAF is interested in mig-29M2/mig-35 to match Egypt, plus yak-130. The yabhon UAV you talk of is a story Henry picked from NAF public announcement. In Europe, before they buy cow dung or chicken shit for their military they announce years ahead to start public debate so that tax payers can comment for 2 to 4 years on the procurement. In Europe you dont defend citizens with weapons they dont hear about or get its full details published in news media before you can be bold to spend government money to buy. NA and NN should wake up, they spend our money not their salary. Kudos to NAF, and best of luck with mig-35 + yak 130, let air power return to West Africa as in the jaguar jet days when Pietha Botha's Apartheid South Africa trembles when they see giant of Africa NAF flying 266 aircraft, including 24 mbb helicopter gunships, 130 fighter jets led by 19 jaguars, 33 mig-21s, supported by alpha jets, aeramacchi jets, albatross jets, delfin jets.

And delivery time for those dauphin helos.
Who will give you that detailed information in Nigeria? This is not Europe. Thank God this new government now enforced a 'No secrecy in military procurement' policy. In the past government, na only total defence budget you go hear, wetin dem wan buy na secret because they will use weapons money to buy billion naira mansion in Abuja and Lagos while senior pilots get shot down and beheaded by Boko Haram because they fly 30 year old obsolete alpha jets and mi-24 with no missile. Na awa leaders dey destroy awa nation, it takes a lot of patriotism for common man not to hate this country. As at today NAF is ahead of NN and NA with info publication, even pistols purchase they will declare it, any planes or missiles they buy, they show photos to the public.

Billed as Africa’s first home-grown military aircraft, the Advanced High-Performance Reconnaissance Light Aircraft (AHRLAC) made its first test flight in South Africa this week, marking a milestone in the continent’s aviation history.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/amp.france24.com/en/20140816-aviation-africa-first-military-aircraft-south-africa

Someone feels he's wiser than the world. A quick search on Google by typing African indigenous aircraft, brings out the AHRLAC.
You are a mumu and a disgrace to the school you attended. Simple google search shows the few honest South Africans calling AHRLAC a Boeing product put together in a South African factory

AHRLAC, jointly developed and marketed with Boeing, may be classified as a Boeing product, full line production of all AHRLAC airframes will remain South African endeavour.

http://www.engineeringnews.co.za/article/production-of-ahrlac-aircraft-set-to-begin-in-early-2017-2016-10-07

The AHRLAC aircraft design and aluminium airframe you are giving the Southies credit for, was a job done by Germany, them Southies traveled to meet German engineers and asked them to do concept and design, then run go to America ask Pratt & Whitney USA to give engine and transmission, plus Boeing USA to develop and supply all avionics, computers, electronics, weapons system, surveillance system. Finally Germany conceptualised, designed and built AHRLAC airframe, body, fuselage. What tech job did South Africa do on AHRLAC to make them ask Nigerians to show what aircraft Nigeria built? Who is the fool here?

All these were kept secret as confirmed by engineering reports from inside South Africa.

The secrecy behind manufacture of AHRLAC is understandable, engineers working on the AHRLAC project have teamed up with engineers from German machine tool builder DMG MORI and have come up with a concept. Talks between AHRLAC engineers and German DMG MORI engineers began back in 2014 with concepts decided on in 2015. German DMG engineers began building the machine shortly thereafter for delivery in 2017

http://metalworkingnews.info/ahrlac-engineers-develop-machining-concept-that-is-now-internationally-recognised/

Yes, AHRLAC aircraft is America 95%, Germany 4%, South Africa 1%. That is the secret truth about 'made in South Africa' AHRLAC they have been fooling all of you about, for this exposé, the South Africans can murder me in cold blood as they wish. Next time Southies, dont peddle your lies to Nigerians.

There is nothing in the fuselage of AHRLAC, that thing is just bigger than Gulma drone, its an aluminium tin can with a tiny propeller behind like a drone. AFIT boys in Kaduna will design and build AHRLAC frame like we built Gulma. Anybody who thinks its a big achievement is a fool ignorant of technology. World War II propeller planes designed 1939 are far bigger than AHRLAC, with four giant engines on a bomber. Anybody saying AHRLAC body work is genius work is a born fool that South Africans play like football

These guys are the ones making aircrafts avionics and electronics. Forget the fact that you've not heard of most of them but those F-15,f-22, f-16, b-2. These guys are the ones who manufactured the electronics.

Now who's getting the credits ? Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

Designing an aircraft itself is an issue. Most manufacturer won't even try going into manufacturing avionics.
If 300 American companies work with Boeing to make F-18 jet, its still 100% American tech and human skills.

If Boeing builds 95% of AHRLAC, then its 95% American tech and human labour input, South Africa can still claim project ownership on legal papers.

You dont ask Boeing to build you an aircraft then you say nobody else in Africa can dont it. What of the light aircraft NAF is building with Comp Air of USA?

You have a problem getting logic in people's argument, I noticed that from your comments this year. It takes one million explanations before you can see the core of logical reasoning, you just play to the gallery like its rocket science.

Show us how drawing a World War II design and welding aluminium is more than 5% of the aircraft, even their drawing design Boeing engineers are helping South Africa to fine tune to fit Boeing avionics and Pratt Whitney engine. They asked for increased Boeing cooperation in 2016 above the level of 2014. To you, it means nothing. Shows how smart you are or you are not.

How will someone open his or her mouth and say avionics, weapons etc makes 95% of an aircraft? You think designing an aircraft is about a diagram?

Hey man, my major is Aerospace engineering ( Aircrafts manufacturing and design) so I'm obviously not typing thrash as you feel.

There's a difference between drawing and designing an aircraft.
Your aerospace degree is fake or your lecturers are olodo.

You are talking thrash, only a tech ignorant fellow thinks engine + transmission + avionics + computers + electronics + weapons systems + surveillance systems is not 95% of the aircraft.

Your education tells you no African draftsman can draw tech blueprint of that tiny propeller plane world war II design. You went to village school or talk like you did. The AHRLAC is just an enlarged drone made to be piloted, those PhD guys who designed Gulma drone and AFIT Farawa aircraft in Kaduna can design AHRLAC. What exactly is still your point?

95% is being built under technical partnership agreement. How did you arrive at such figure? Aircraft design isn't about drawing I hope you know?

Designing an aircraft itself excluding avionics is definitely more than 5%
Anybody with above mediocre intelligence knows when a foreign partner builds for you an aircraft engine, transmission, avionics, computers, electronics, weapons systems, that is 95% of the airplane.

Ghana has draftsmen that can draw aircraft design and ask Britain to do the rest of the work. So what did South Africa build in the AHRLAC if not alumi body, rubber tyres, paint job?

Like you dont know what technology is, maybe you went to village school, then some Southie fools you around.

Old man, you can play the buffoonery all you want. Boeing did not sell engine to South Africa, you got engine from Pratt & Whitney USA. Boeing is developing an integrated mission system for the aircraft enabling ISR and light strike missions for AHRLAC safety & security, and military variants. That makes everything in your aircraft American made except the artists drawing, aluminium body and tyres.

Show us where Airbus or Chinese companies have their entire avionics and electronics built for them by Boeing, maybe America built JF-17 Thunder for Chinese.

Boeing will supply an avionics suite for certain customers. That's it.

The aircraft is a clean sheet Paramount design.

Do tell us how you came to that 95 % ?
AHRLAC-

Engine made by Pratt & Whitney company America
Transmission systems also made by America
All Avionics, Electronics, Computers, Weapon Systems, Surveillance Systems made by Boeing company America

Artists design on paper, aluminium body, color paint, 3 rubber tyres made by Paramount company South Africa

Remove American hardware parts and engineering skills, the skeleton bones left of your aircraft will end up in a museum. Yes bros, AHRLAC is 95% made by America, this is the truth you people hate me for saying.

Nothing wrong if USA builds aircraft for RSA, just be honest and admit it, dont come here and peddle lies to us asking us to show you made in Nigeria product when you flash made in America product in our faces as if Nigerians are fools.
