To be honest sir, i contacted a personnel who is at the HQ in Abuja wen i heard abt this recruitment and he said i should not even bother applying that the truth of the matter is that they are taking 4 persons per state for this current recruitment and also reminded me abt the awaiting 2018 set that their list is still very much intact. This 4 new men would be added to that list then they train together. This is as a result of the new DG trying to bring in his own people. So chances on this recruitment are very slim..

This @allan2 guy, i have been following this thread for as long as this recruitment is concerned, but i preferred to be quiet reader who slides in and out taking informations that seems reasonable to me and discarding the ones i find no sense in. And i do this quietly. Attacking hopefulls who try to keep the threat lively seems childish( in my own view anyway) i will implore u to either unfollow this thread if nothing interest u abt the DSS or stop attacking others. Everybody get bad mouth, but maturity is not measured by age but by how u address issues. Lets all be guided..

Please guys, my State of origin certificate has a different middle name and also my birth certificate middle name. But the birth certificate and state of Origin certificate middle name is the same. Please guys, I need advice. All other documents have the same middle name except the earlier mentioned two.

To the best of my knowledge and according to the stated criteria, you will be +1 year to ur current age as at january 2020 regardless ur birth month. So i would say the system will consider ur application as over aged. But u could still try bro.. Who knows?? Miracle happns.

I dont think this information is correct bro.. Please reconfirm from your source. I live very close to the Training school here in Ojo barracks...and i can confirm to you that nobody is in the training school now. And only cadet train here.... Other cadres train elsewhere... If that you computer science guy is already in camp then it means he applied for the one his power of connect reach.... My own opinion tho..

Yea... I graduated at 20. Completed my NYSC in 2013 at 21 going 22..

House please wat do i do? I obtained my B.Sc. in 2011 and the limit given is not less than 2013 for SSC. I am still within the Age though. And my course is not found in DSSC. I am jst confused and i have mad interest for the Army.

We all have different understanding on how this selection is done. I use to have a friend who works in the MS where shortlisting is done. And he made me to understand dat no body has time to b checking millions of application to know who has fake or real certificate. Mostly shortlisting is done by the application number sent to them by influential pple and Godfathers... Its a system program.. They just input the number and ur details fall out.. And u are being shortlisted. Where the problem may be is only if u r not able to get the correct and original certificates that meets the requirements bfore the screening exercise. Becos wen we got there we were asked to make photo copies of all our credentials. We made abt 4 copies each. Bought a file and put 3 copies each and submitted. That file will be used during the board stage of the screening. The remaining one photocopy will be urs.. Thats wat u will go into the board with. And again the one u submited to the board is wat stands as ur file in the army through out ur career. And thats wat they will use for background checks.. I rest my case.

i am not sure if some persons on this thread are actually graduates. where in this news was it mentioned dat the previous recruitment exercise has been canceled? they are only warning the masses to beware of fraud recruiters claiming to render help. abeg if una no sabi read to understand make una keep quiet..

I called a personnel who currently works in the training school and he said the possibility of we getting called this year is slim. That we should jst hope for early January. So carry on with wat u r doing now...God help us all..

please i need an urgent clarification. i am already 27 years and my course is not listed in the DSSC for Army, Air force and Navy. i intend to apply for the Army SSC. I wont still be 28 by January 2019. i dont know if i am still in order to apply like that?

Pls house i need to be clarified on this. I intend to make an age declaration because of this age constraints. Will it be accepted if i claim to have strted my primary education at 2 years?

Hi everyone. Jst a quick one. Av been following thread from day one and i feel i should contribute my own quarter. I spoke wit a personnel who wrks in the training school in Ojo, Lagos today and he said he had to go ask why the list is being delayed and he was told that there is a promotional exam going on in the same school where successful candidates will resume and this exam will last till early august. So list should be expected either mid August or ending. So plus or minus. August or September will be resumption.

Guy its not like firstbank are interested in everybody ooo....its all abt dragnet who have programmed thier system to resend an invite to any applicant who did not sit for d test on the scheduled date.

what i dont agree in dis story is dat he said he had to leave his original cridentials outside nd entered d screening ground. if memory serves me right, part of d requirements for d screening exercise is for shortlisted candidates to come wit their original credentials and also a photocopy with their passports. so i see no one leaving those outside and entering wit nothing. bro tell us anoda story pls.

The current screening exercise is for General Duties only. the shortlisting of Specialist is yet to b out. i think they a trying to avoid any form of stampede .

Morning peeps...pls can anyone who applied for the SOII GL8 position confirm to the house if they have been successful in taking the online test!? Cos i av a strong feeling that there is somthing wrong with dat position, probably they dont want security officers or the population dat applied for the position is high so they need a special attention to conduct thiers.
