CharitoJames: Sometimes the waiting period can be draining. You may cry a lot, get tired, plan to quit or give up but please don't forget to go back to God's word and affirmations for you. It will be there to reassure you when you feel drained.
It will surely end in Praise!!! Thank you! |

Misstolaly: Hello Here
Please, I would appreciate useful insights as per school registration in Fredericton NB, and getting a nanny/childminder for home care too. I'm really expectant about my study permit but not sure I will have much time to explore when we get to Fredericton. My classes resume on the 7th of September so I want to finalize as much planning as possible before leaving. Many thanks in advance. Hello, I am also heading to Fredericton but in December, I had to defer my admission as my PPR was delaying. |

Nairaland, now a man introduce me to a man we met in aso rock wit invitaton that want to help me with medical visit visa to move ..saying that I will not go for much process just go for biometric and before October I wil travel ..same route his brother and a girl travel too in may this year but I was worried how it is possible, charging me 4000$ with a quote that is 101% possible if I want to follow executive children quota or medical route If you have $4000 to give the 'aso rocker' and you can't DIY, then you better find an IRCC registered consultant to handle your application, if not you will be counting Scam Number 3. Best of luck! |

Comfyski: Thank you.
I have a question for the children. These are the options available when I add a family member Visitor tourist Visit all other types Less than 6 month studies Study more than 6 month Work in a work permit exempt category Work LMIA required Work with an open work permit.
Since they are minors, because I chose study for more than 6 months, I have to put a letter of acceptance for them, but they are not going to a college or university. Secondly even the fee has changed and I have to pay for study permit.
So i found this information online https://www.mcgill.ca/internationalstudents/immigration-documents/documents/accompanying-family-members. Use the LOA of your spouse for your children. Yes you are not pay for study permit and the price is different from visit visa |

nnemak: Good evening, Though I have tried to read as much as possible, but still need help. Spouse got admission and we have now confirmed seat. We are gathering data and building SOP. Plan is for us all to go at once. Kids are above 9yrs
Please What is the next stage? What visa type should we apply for kids and me? How soon should we start as we hope to get SOWP before leaving Nigeria. What type of medical and can we go ahead and do upfront medical? Congrats on the admission. For your spouse - Study For you - SOWP For the children - Study Once you are through with gathering your documents, you apply. There is no time frame. It is advisable to do upfront medical but some people still wait for medical request, that's up to you. Best of luck! |

My wife's PPR dropped today.
This is my first time of commenting on this thread, but I got all the guidelines I needed to package her application here.
I want to say a very big thank you to all the major contributors on this thread. I say God bless you all, beyond your expectations.
For those still expectant, God will surely answer your prayers.
My wife submitted her application on April 11th. That was the only time they sent any notification to her, before the PPR message dropped today.
God is wonderful. Congratulations to you and yours Mine is next! |

MrDam: Good morning to my gurus and hopeful families. Please I requested that my bank both access and Gtbank should send my bank statement to Canada embassy yesterday then I was given a print out that has TICKET ID and PASSWORD. So my question now is how do I go about it, should i upload it via webform separately or i should scan it on a page and upload it once. Any of the two options can work but I would prefer you scan on a page and upload at once. Just make sure it is clear. |

freedomtours: Ok, thanks very much, but my challenge is that I am yet to even get the student copy from my school due to the ongoing strike by ASUU and non academic staff of universities and the deadline for me to upload the student transcript to be considered for admission is at the ending of this month, I am asking if there anything I can do to enable them to extend my submission date. Try sending them a mail to ask. Then if you can get a connect, reach out to someone in that transcript section because I believe some staff still work under ground. Best of luck |

freedomtours: Frankrobbn1, and all other Guru Please, I need help I applied for master in university of Saskatchewan, it is my cousine over there that helped me to apply, l uploaded some of the documents they requested, but they reject my neco, saying they don't accept it, l uploaded my waec result, but the challenge is that In that waec I have E8 in English, pls I want to know if they will consider it and secondly they requested me to upload my transcript, but have paid for the official transcript from school and the student soft copy which the school is requesting for me to upload but my school is on strike, my cousin is saying that the submission is closing by the end of this month, please is it possible to write to the school requesting to extend my submission date. Hello, you should be applying for admission yourself. I also applied to Usaks for Masters and wasn't asked for either waec or neco and I applied with my student copy transcript. Except your department has their own specific requirements or you have been given a conditional admission, then they now request for your official transcript. But if its just for the application process, student copy transcript was accepted from me. |

psalmizt: I actually thought the story ended at PPR, but boy was i in for a shocker. You know how they finished Terminator with Skynet? But somehow they rebooted and gave us Terminator GeneSys. That was what my story turned into. With roughly 2 weeks to the expiration of my Permanent Residence Visa, I somehow managed to travel out of Nigeria and to the glory of God, I became a Permanent Resident of Canada on 22 May, 2020.
The real story starts here.... Congrats |
