albacete: They are always right in private establishments. You can even go to some banks and start yelling at their customer care representative without any provocation and at the end of the day, the manager will come out to pacify you. I have witnessed this a couple of times.
Customers will come to the bank, jump queue, mount pressure on you, and when you try to maintain law and order (because other customers will be aggrieved), they start yelling to attract the attention of your supervisor. And your supervisor will admonish you and tell you all those crap about the possibility of the customer having a bad day. Nobody cares if you are having a bad day yourself. Go to a govt establishment and talk anyhow let's see if you will be attended to. It is only when we visit any govt office that we wear the full regalia of humility. Because nobody send you to go do anyhow for there.
As goat stand, na so them go price am. When you make yourself an ass, everyone will ride you. This exactly is the reason Govt don't do well in business. My reason for not supporting govt to be in business but to stand aside and regulate the activities of businesses and create an enabling environment for businesses to grow. |

oluphilip2008: In Nigeria, customers are not always right. Many of them are just out to frustrate you. You as the employee has the right to defend yourself too. A customer who did not hesitate to slap you twice simply for doing your job doesn't deserve your respect. You have your own dignity to protect too and I love the fact that you defended yourself. So sorry you had to resign. Better one ahead. Hope you have some savings to sustain you till another one comes though. He resigned because it wasn't his business. If he continues like this,he will keep jumping from one job to the other. If he starts up his own business,he will equally be redundant for life.Whether you like it or not, customers are always right.Devise a strategy to treat those frustrated customers whether it is your business or not. |

Crime › Re: Customs Confiscates Smuggled Rice by sweetilicious(f): 1:50pm On Dec 04, 2017 |
PrecisionFx: Madame Nigeria does not produce enough rice to meet her demand for rice, It's a stupid idea to for anyone to ban his staple food when they do not have any form of backup. Immediately buhari did it, 50kg bag of Rice prices which mostly goes for under 10k swiftly moved to 25 - 30 thousand naira o'er bag.
I am in Enugu state, I know every single detail based on Abakiliki rice cuz my aunty has been planting rice over there for over 30 years now(from wen rice farmers parboiled their rice locally with giant pots till the day many rice processing factories came up in Ebonyi state. Yeah you made sense. But this theory is only applicable to a sane clime where foreign products hasn't eaten so deep in to the system not withstanding the substandard quality. All things been equal, prices where bound to go up because of scarcity of dollars for importers. Now that it is so stressful, more expensive and riskier for importers to get some products that can be manufactured in this country from foreign countries thereby improving the GDP of those countries, some wise business experts have improvised by sourcing for those machinery that can be used in milling this rice, processing them by removing stones and chaffs so as to be good for consumption.Nigerian business men are so smart. If only they knew all this plan from beginning, they would have filled up their wayhouses with this rice to last for many years waiting, thereby prompting man-made scarcity for the demand to exceedingly go higher thereby increasing the price incessantly. You will still complain by then.Advice all this importers to purchase more machines for proper rice milling and watch how things will get better. In as much as i don't like Nigerian Govt and their policies, this one on banning of some products that can be sourced in this country is welcomed by me.You will never grow if you don't cook your meals even when you have all food stuff but you prefer to eat out everyday spending 60% of your income thereby empowering restaurant. You are in for a fall if you don't make do by making your own meals. This is the theory i think the Govt is making use of. I have been able to market and sell to some people Abakaliki rice. The difference is clear. With more adequate machinery, you won't be able to differentiate soon. THANCHU SO MUCH.
In sane nations, First the govt calculates the amount of rice the nation consume yearly (let's say 3 million metric tonnes), Secondly calculate the amount of rice the nation produce (let's say 800k metric tonnes), Then Govt will make sure that only 2.2 million metric tonnes of rice comes into the country yearly.
As the rice farming increase, FG will keep reducing imports till whenever it balances. |

oloripelebe2:
The timing of the ongoing empowerment initiative by the Ebonyi state government couldn’t be more perfect. It is no longer news that Ebonyi state indigenes are rated as the lead street traders and hawkers in Nigeria. The rate at which Ebonyi youths are involved in street hawking across the country is giving the state governor and well - meaning Ebonyi people sleepless nights. Change begins with a little step. Its obvious you are so lazy and unemployed.Or maybe you dupe people to get easy money.Get a good life and know ye that there is dignity in labour. |

Am so out of word to type. Richy4: Both of u should seek medical advice from your GP. Go for thorough examination to check if something is wrong.. Do not go to the one she proposed just incase she is hiding something from you..
As for the job, just keep on searching... In due time the door of employment will open for you..
In my opinion, She has found what she wanted which is marriage...her soul is now relaxed... She is now MRS..That's the only title some wanted..Those days when you were courting her, and you were working, you were looking at her with a rose petal eye glasses. .. u did not dictate any fault because all was well... now that u have removed the glasses, u have now seen her originality...
I want to say here that she was not the cause of the ill-luck befallen u.. Live is full of ups and downs..and when the down part occurs, if u were lucky and have married a hard working lady, she will be by your side to back u up.. but now u were frustrated because you were not lucky enough to have married a hard working lady....U married a coded lazy woman meant for Rich Hausa men..(you know that most of them doesn't allow their wife to work right? )...and u are not in that category...
So, Just manage her that's what marriage is all about.. u can't bail on her now when in tough situation.. remember your vow... It is a serious one not a poem..
I still insist that u guys go on check up |

Business › Re: How Do You Handle Angry Customers? by sweetilicious(f): 1:27pm On Nov 21, 2017 |
Tips i learnt from the little experience i have, customers are always the king.Show empathy which is the greatest way to tame aggressive people.Don't you ever vent your frustration.Smile even when it is not worth it.You should equally know that some people came from a background of frustrations. You should endeavour not to let the customer leave unhappy no matter what.If the person proves not to be put in order, report to your supervisor.it's not your job to teach the customer manners no matter their age.Swallow whatever insult or vulgar word used against you,i swear it isn't always easy.Your job is to make the customer happy so as to come back another day. This attitude is the best when it comes to handling and relating with people. It will even change you to a better person. Mind you, your salary is in their hands.Customers are the reason why you are in business.Use this approach and you will see how your company's business will strive and flourish. There is a question that goes''IF THIS WERE TO BE YOUR BUSINESS,WILL YOU RUN IT THIS WAY''? Op,will your run it out of frustration? Just try your best in managing customers who happened to become the king. |

Engage her in an intelligent discussion, ask her something like, Is she aware Robert Mugabe has been ousted?.......You will end up defining Robert Mugabe's gender, country, religion, race and position to her. . Engage her in a romantic discussion.......Na Gbese . Engage her in a discussion about her own body anatomy.... You will end up convincing her that her ovaries is not located around the neck but rather below her abdominal region.
