I have been doing a lot of thinking on this radio Biafra thing and their hate messages on air now. Wanting your own country is not the issue, but spreading and planting hate in targeted hearts is very dangerous to our already endangered existence. Something struck me, this is how Hitler started his campaign against the Jews, this is was exactly what started the Rwanda genocide in 1994, even BH grew and is continuing to wax stronger through the media.
I call on all well meaning, enlightened and right thinking South Easterners and South Southerners to rise up against this baby monster before it becomes an adult. It will make more sense if people from the said region take this up so it doesn't look like a "sabotage" against the Biafra by enemies from other regions are forcing them to stay. The social media is now a powerful tool for propagation, let's use it to the best of our ability to totally condemn hate and preach pride and love for Nigeria. I know this is not the best of times for us as Nigerians but really it's all in our hands to decide where we're headed. Do we want another war in the south? Thankfully the Biafra thing is still in it's beginning stages, we can drown it as it is now with our collective voice. Don't think you're not relevant enough to be heard. Remember that little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. To go about this, Please post updates on your social media pages state that you are proudly Igbo/Efik/Ibibio/Benin/Ikwere/ etc but you're condemning the hate from radio biafra then tag it #ArrogantlyNaija. The purpose of this is to revive the proud spirit of Naija in our youths. Youths are often times easy targets for social unrest. This is more like an antidote to the poison of hate oozing from radio biafra. Please go now and play your part in nation building. Together we can make Nigeria great again. Nothing good ever comes out from hate. The politicians you're allowing yourselves become tools for will jet out of the country with their families at the slightest hint of war. Most Northern governors have their children abroad FYI.
People from other regions should feel free to add their voice to this cause because at the end of the day it affects all of us. God bless Nigeria. #ArrogantlyNaija |

chuna1985: The SS have already seen that the only people who have their backs in the whole Nigeria are igbos.
The SS also have discovered that their problem in Nigeria is not igbos, unlike what they were meant to believe in d past.
The SS now know that it is the north n SW that are sucking their oil.
The SS want a way out of Nigeria already.
The SS now know that they cannot separate alone, They need the igbos.
The SS are ready to align with igbos to leave Nigeria.
Some people from SS should get it into their thick skull that we don't need their oil... Igbos have oil as well and igbos can ignore oil n use industrialization and commerce to power themselves to any height. I ask again. Is it by force |

You see you guys can never learn. Let's keep watching. We rallied around GEJ because we considered you guys brother not because he turned south east to gold in Hus reign . An opportunity he threw to the winds in a show of cowardice . you guys cannever learn. Let's continue to watch the drama ... And you're happy to say that? Who sent you message? We SS do NOT see you guys as brothers but we all know your heads very easy to use for political gains. GEJ used your heads. Elections are over. Have you heard him say anything about being Igbo since then. The same way Saraki is using your heads in the NA for his selfish gains. You are the ones that will never learn. Stop living in hate! Learn to discover your true standing and people from other regions may just start respecting you guys. |

woodcook: In as much as I am not in support of whatever radio Biafra has been alleged to be doing I think your so called traditional leaders, chief etc are worst than the Kanu guy. Before it was that Nigerian government has been stealing your oil to develop SW and North now it is that Biafra want to steal it. If only your so called as been in the fore front of your struggles I doubt if you guys would have been in the mess you are now. Interesting! Good. Bravo. And thank our lucky stars that you guys are not after our oil! But come o! Please why are you guys then so obsessed with dragging the SS along with you on this your Biafra whatever? Most SS on this forum have said so many times that we are NOT interested. Why do you keep shoving it down our throats? How about just limiting it to your SE states alone? We SS are NOT interested! Since when did it become by force by fire? |

From my experience, most of them have issues. 1) The ones still hurting from a past relationship 2) The ones who didn't have babes around them when they had nothing but suddenly finds many babes dying for their attention. They now don't trust women.
But hey, there ain't no specific age for marriage. Some people are very particular about what they want and what they want is what they are getting no matter how long it takes and guys with money have high taste in women,. Not just anything goes it's not like the broke/regular ones who are just looking for any woman that can love them the way they are. |

They called Yar'Adua baba go-slow. But when he died they realized he was our best ever! It seems Hausa/Northern men are silent, slow but effectual workers. You don't realize their worth immediately. Buhari please take your time. Fixing Nigeria in it's present comatose stage is not something to be rushed. Your critics will soon cover their heads in shame for being in a hurry to criticize you. That will be your reward for refusing to transfer blame for your challenges even though we all know you inherited a deathly sick country. |

Acidosis: loool @comments.
OP, let no one insult you. I wrote my first & only JAMB at age 16. Entered the University at 17. At 17, most of these girls you see around and on Nairaland had lost their virginities.
There is nothing wrong in falling in love with a 16 year old. If you truly love her, wait till you're 35, then propose marriage. At that age, she'll be 23.
However, this principle is unrealistic, so I'd advise you quit as she'll most likely fall in love and f , , k other dudes as she progresses academically on campus.
You're 28, let your focus be on a working class babe, who has seen it all. If you continue with her, you guys would most likely have s e x just for the fun of it (and no one will jail you, as she'll enjoy every bit of it), but one thing is certain, that relationship will crumble
S e x with a 16 year old girl who is probably a year one student in a university would never attract any jail term. Most girls here had their first experience at that stage and they enjoyed it. Ask them And why can't he marry her at 20? Then he'll be 32. Perfect age for a guy to marry. |

There's nothing wrong with it. Most of our grandmothers and even mothers are at least 15 years younger than our grandfathers/fathers.
Just leave sex till she's 20 or so. Then marry her. Problem solved. |

He cannot appoint Ministers when there is no Senate to confirm them. Modified>>>>> https://www.nairaland.com/2348041/how-time-flies. You are waiting for the senate to be sworn in.
