1)One year is one year, whether you drive or not.
2)I was mostly away all through my wife's one year wait. She was totally green. All she did was pay driving instructors for about 8 driving lessons (an hour each) a month after the one year wait. She failed the first attempt of the driving exam, but passed on the 2nd time. What really helped was that she had no bad driving habit as she never drove a vehicle till she moved to Canada.

I disagree with you. there are super agents in Nigeria that have the money to buy aircraft seats as many as they want and then resell it to any amount. I know many of them e.g Wakanow, Finchglow, travelstart.

Hey, my friend submitted his on 20th June and got an email one month later saying the they can't meet up with the standard processing time because the application wasn't straightforward. As far he's concerned the application straightforward. He wants to go and write his PLAB exam. He checked the internet and found some comments from people who said it's normally a standard email they send out when don't meet up with the standard processing time.

Two days ago, he sent an email to UK visa immigration and they escalated it. They said he should give them 15 working days from the day of escalation. And his exam date is fast approaching.

What's the update on yours?

Ok, I read 10working days to return passport. I don't think they do return of passport without cancellation for tourist visa. I will be cancelling the passport next week, even though the exam has been paid for. I will let you know how many days it takes once I am told
