In non Muslims dominated areas of the North they use customary courts instead of Sharia and non Muslims are not tried in Sharia court except if they consent to be tried.
By the way, is it not religious bias and bigotry for someone who has customary court backed by customs laws to challenge bthose who adopt Sharia System?

How can u use or compare El Rufai with Northerners' culture, I challenge the OP if he can see a single poster, billboard or anything outside Kaduna that show Wl Rufai has political base in any Northern states. Yardua is the most loved President in the entire North; PMB failed woefully 2003 & 2007 in Katsina because of Yar'adua's influence to the extent that PMB's party under both APP, ANPP and CPC never won even Chairmanship seat in his home town Daura.
Between 2003 to 20011 when PMB failed elections serially in the whole North-West only 2 states were ruled under his party, it got worst when only Nasarawa won under CPC in 2011 election.
