dominique: You're talking about being a mum,I'm talking being a wife. Pressure heaped on women pushes them to marry just anybody just to escape the shame of being tagged as single at a certain age. they meant well cant you see? They dont want you to waste your youth away in the name of ambition. Menopause is real oh. Oya go marry now. Sorry ehn? |

Truckpusher: If a man can't provide for his immediate household the same women will call him names and label him a failure and these mor0nic feminists don't see it as a discrimination.
One was just on twitter ranting that broke guys shouldn't come near her with the mindset to toast her - The question here is ; If I can buy you why should you demand equality? hahaha abi oh. Buy me this buy me that and you cant submit like the good Book said, thunder go fire you.lol |

angieberry: Talk about double standards! Why would a man do something and be commended for it, but when a woman does the same thing, she is run down? Double standards why would a woman do something and be commended while a man is heavily bashed for the same act? Equality does not have to be in females or feminist terms otherwise it'll upset a ballance. Men are being discriminated against too. How many of such does feminists address? Feminists are just cry babies as far as I know. |

dominique: 'You should be happy you're married when your mates and those older than you are still looking for husband'
Apparently, the biggest achievement a Nigerian woman can get is by being Mrs somebody. well what other achievement and happiness is more than watching your own Children grow? Am sure a man cant breast feed or carry baby in his stomach. You ladies should accept your roles and roll with it. Your nature make your role easier for you. Accept to be responsible and not brainwashed. |

All these sound like comparison to me,you cant compare the genders...they're different and should compliment each other. Its not only females that have their issues with the society, men have their own. Whats the propaganda for? Do you want maleism to start too?lol angieberry: If you draw eyebrows, you're a runs girl (a male course mate once told me this)
If you're single and you drive a nice car, you'll chase away the men
If you're a man and you sleep with many girls, you're a boss. But if you're a woman, and you sleep with many men. You're a LovePeddler.
When a man gets a doctorate degree, he is very intelligent. But when its a woman, she's too ambitious.
It's okay for a man to drink publicly. But when it's a woman, she's wild. |

VictoriaBee: Cool. It's beautiful that Nigerian females are beginning to wise up and see the inhumane acts melted on us women.
Feminism is winning. winning fight against the presumably oppressing men abi? Your anti-men campaign wont work. |

Ishilove: Ratholes are good. The ones in my area are gullies and vehicles cannot ply the roads. Even bikes are having a very hard time navigating these places. which side is that? Am in Vulcanizer area. Even people wont know where to put legs. |
Politics › Re: Deplorable State Of Okota Road (PHOTOS) by Swiftboy(m): 10:17pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
darelar: The road is under construction and I believe that's why is not listed on. The state of the road is far better compare to how it's before. What dey did is to work on one side of the road, from roundabout left side to century and work is going on then. The most worst area there is last bus stop, amonota, ap and to join where it stop around cele before going to apple junction. (That guy on last pics putting on blue dashiky is a guy working with my little brother) The construction is damn too slow. Main road these bad means streets are terrible. Most street here means ratholes.smh |

dedons: It took Fashola donkey years to fix the Ago palace road which he didn't even complete...
I wonder if the state government will even see this...
Apc has something against oshodi-isolo local government area...
Cos that road has been lyk that for sometime now without the government looking into it...
We only see them during election campaigns... na so we see am for Okota way we dey.lol |
Politics › Re: Deplorable State Of Okota Road (PHOTOS) by Swiftboy(m): 10:06pm On Jun 28, 2015 |
Minet16: From Apple junction to Last bus stop to Ago palace. The road is nothing to write home about. Reasons being the fact that not just okota alone but Amuwo Odofin LGA as a whole, belongs to PDP. It isn't a good phenomenom that the state government carries out projects in areas where their party is recognised. I believe Ambode this time won't be sentimental. Major roads should be done despite the party dominant in the area. Ambode don't let them down, Lagos is counting on you
#@MINET16 am typing this from my Okota home...my area is neglected real bad. The picture seen above is for the main roads...you need to check out the streets. The Ago palace way project is still going on even tho its awarded 10 years ago. Its a shame on Lagos state government. Businesses are booming and there are industries, the only thing LASG do is collect tax and neglect us here. |

Antoinne: No, you didn't really pay for it. At some point, Aero never used to serve food on airplanes and people still flew. This food is complimentary and not paid for.
Why not 'munch' it in the plane? Are you not 'settled in' in the plane? Or you feel people are watching you?
Cultured people don't take food out of airplane. Don't get influenced by the habit of taking food away from a party. It simply doesn't speak well of you. If anything, it suggests that you are too hungry and can't afford a meal whenever you want one. They actually pack the chow so you can take it away. All these yarns are only your ideals. They prolly think the chow will waste if they dont share it. You can take your food off the plane, nobody die. |

agarawu23: we Humans cannot stop the rains from falling. These are natural events, but we can do something to prevent them from having great impact.
our Government are not trying at all because they are lot of step they can take to control flooding and make flow of water easy.
I have seen countries where rain fall constantly but there is a good drainage system and underground well, once the rain stops within 1-2 hours everywhere is dried up.
Blame our Government. and they always shout Fashola is working back then. He did not do anything as now flood still occur in Lagos. White elephant projects everywhere leaving out what matters, the very essential project is always neglected. A mega city like Lagos deserve big underground sewer with water treatment plant at the end of it.smh |
