Oh common the national conference which GEJ intend to implement addressed the resource control thingy. Thanks for all the comments. I did not mean to exaggerate the bad state of roads. My concern was not really on Ilorin Roads as one expects the state capital to have relatively good roads. My emphasis was largely on other towns especially Omu-Aran, Oro, Ajasse, Iloffa, Osi, Oke-Onigbin, Baruten, Patigi, Kaiama, etc. These places have bad linking roads and the intra-town road artery is terrible. Most of the roads need an overhaul.

Ilorin has relatively good roads but more can still be done especially when compared to Uyo, Calabar, Ibadan, etc

I have edited that statement and put it in better shape.

Am a Kwaran...I support this post 100%. The government ain't trying one bit...the governor belong to his political mentor.. .Senate President Saraki. I won't say more.

We are thinking of completely banning the promotion of forex trading and sports betting on Nairaland.

Forex day-trading and sports betting are fundamentally fraudulent because they're promoted as a quick way of making money whereas due to mathematical facts, the only people who make money are the middlemen and marketers. The "investors" almost always lose their money.

In our experience, it's not enough to warn Nairaland members about the dangers of forex day-trading and sports betting. The promise of quick profit is just too strong for thousands of vulnerable Nairaland members to resist. The only way to protect them is complete censorship.

We believe that the complete ban of such content will make Nairaland a better platform for discussing legitimate entrepreneurship and finance.
