I'll say lets give him more time to finish his work. I think he did well through the gas exploration and privatization of the DISCOs. By the time we deploy drones and other tech to monitor pipeline, power wont drop again. I prefar to see an half-filled bottle than an half-emptied ones.

Pls, get lost. 5 years after (2010-2015), the story is still less than 4,000mw, sometimes as low as 1,000mw+

You dont reward failure with votes. In 2011, GEJ spefically asked to be punished, if he fails to fix power.
PoliticsRe: See How Nigerians Reacted To APC Leaders Who Were Applying For GEJ's YOUWIN by Swiftboy(m): 8:04pm On Mar 14, 2015
He's fixing power too. IMO FG should lay off power generation. Goodluck has been working hard on power sector. In his 2nd term,he'll tackle the challenges easily cos the ground work is laid.
emiye:
soon they will get jobs, and get busy at work . Nigerians are not lazy, once power gets stable, cost of running business drops significantly, more indigenous and foreign companies will spring up, more smes will survive.
PoliticsRe: See How Nigerians Reacted To APC Leaders Who Were Applying For GEJ's YOUWIN by Swiftboy(m): 7:48pm On Mar 14, 2015
Power generation is part of the transformation agenda. Goodluck's administration has been building dams and exploring gas. More power plants to come. I even think GENCOs will soon be fully privatized. Transformation agenda has got it covered. My school FUTmx always have power. Power supply will spread across the country in 2nd term. You'll see improvement soon.
emiye:
Good, you are asking this question.

Lack of stable electricity hampers industrialisation, it means companies now have to spend a substantial cost than they should have in providing alternative means of power source, and this means the cost of goods produced or services is higher than it should be, and can not compete with import substitutes or business can not break even, companies are then forced to close down, and sack employees, what can be produced in Nigeria cheaply in Nigeria, is now imported from China, e.t.c

The moment power is fixed, cost of production of goods and services drops, and more businesses can survive, more people will be attracted to manufacturing, instead of importation business, reduced importation favours the Naira, and Nigeria gets better. The benefits is not limited to industrialists, Artisans like Welders, tailors, vulcanisers, e..t.c will also reap the benefits, more Small and medium scale enterprises(SMEs) will survive, the more they survive and expand, the more jobs are created. All over the world, SMES drive the economy not government jobs.

Now,only a dummies will rate Chadian army or camerounan army over Nigeria army.forgetting that Nigeria army are the best in the continent.they have been involve in peace keeping missions all over the world and all over Africa, including south Africa.
Maybe some dummies need to know that most book haram fighters are recruited from chad and Niger.

Chad is in this fight because born is close to chad and cameroun.
And to all of you shouting buhari, shame unto you all because there is no change in him or APC.

In all we all should come together and support our military men in battlefield not condemn them like someone said they are doing most of the fighting and we keep supporting them.
you're a true Nigerian. Buhari-APC have been going about their propaganda the wrong way as they've been leading their supporters astray! They have been helping the terrorists since the get go. Its wrong to say that the security of Nigerians is solely Government's. It is wrong to ask the President to go to war. It is wrong to use the fight against terror as a political promise. It is wrong not to support the government because the country belong to us all. Sincerely speaking I expected more from APC as progressive as they claim. They believe it is only when they're in power that they can help Nigeria which is wrong cos the war is not against the government alone, its against Nigeria as a whole. Some APC supporters once asked me if my family member has been a victim of Boko haram would I vote for Goodluck? I said yes...not only that I'll join the civilian JTF to show solidarity to our troops and help to expose them. Am a Nigerian, not APC's mumu button! grin

Gbawe2:
Indeed. Imagine how Boko Haram were quickly able to procure and use gas mask shortly after the USA decided to gas and knock them out so that ground offensive can then move in to rescue the girls? Those are the sort of things that should worry all decent Nigerians. We may love deceiving ourselves in Nigeria but the USA, and any serious nation for that manner, will justifiably not work with such a dangerous level of internal sabotage. This is the main reason the USA has washed its hands off helping Nigeria while GEJ is President.

The greatest fear, which is legitimate and justified, is that any weapon supplied to Nigeria may end up in the hands of Boko Haram. What will this then do to Nigeria considering that very powerful weapons could make Boko Haram considerably more dangerous and more deadly than the terror group is already? Any right-thinking Nigerian will appreciate that the USA acted responsibly and correctly given all that has happened.
ofcos there are Boko boys in the military or those that believe in the terrorist group's campaign as being Islamic. Why are you spreading propaganda as tho its GEJ thats arming the BH guys? Even Goodluck admit the sabotage. Do you also know that if citizens can give the right information BH would not have been this strong? Do you also know there are fathers that are donating their children for the service of the Islamic state they intend to establish? Stop blaming Goodluck when he is the number one victim of the military sabotage. Thank God for neighbours that are now ready to fight.

GEJ 2015: BLESSING OR CURSE?

Yoruba Oba's don't bless someone by pointing their staff at the person. When a staff of an Oba is pointed at someone, that is a curse.

THIS IS HOW YORUBA OBA'S BLESS..SPOT THE DIFFERENCE.

SO, IT IS RIGHT TO SAY OBA'S HAVE CURSED GEJ?
so you dont know the difference between staff of authority and a mare horse tail {irukere}. Horse tail is for greeting someone when they're recieving the person's humility. They call the staff opa-ase,it means whatever they say will come to pass whether curse or prayer.

We should not panic about the devaluation of Naira and the effect its having on our economy. I think what the federal government will keep trying to put structures in place to make our economy less dependent on crude oil. Here is a tip: we importers should brace ourselves for opportunities as our contributions will be key to the vision of a more productive Nigeria. What about importing juicers for the fruit vendors? Tools for the farmers and industries? Security and hidden cameras to corporate bodies. Register a business name, write proposals to these establishments and take the samples to them. Innovative products that can make works easier for them at a friendly price will always be appreciated. Dont let us panic but rather be more creative. The reason why the gap between the rich and the poor is simply because the poor lacks ideas to start with. If you tell someone to invest in your sample to a big company, they'll listen to you when they know profit will be made. I used to let ideas disappear from my head because I dont have money, but I realized you need ideas on how to raise capital. Nothing can stop me now.lol

PoliticsRe: Why Should I Vote For APC In 2015? by Swiftboy(m): 1:25pm On Feb 23, 2015
pendy79:
I think it is incumbent on we all to educate and enlighten ourselves before we come forth to public fora to give wrong information.

1) your body movement talk? There was a last minute discussion between then ACN and CPC to go into the 2011 election in a coalition but time constraints and INEC guideline prevented the merger of sort. BUHARI was to run on his CPC ticket but drop pastor Tunde Bakare as running mate while ACN produce the running mate. The coalition talk reached advanced stage with Ribadu compelled to step down and he voluntarily did don't know where your story of sell out came from! Buhari later reneged on the drop Tunde Bakare deal based on his feelings that he had done a lot to convinced him to take the ticket and the influence of some forces he didnt like associating with telling him what to do made him decide to forgo the coalition.

The ACN was in limbo and Ribadu wasn't convinced any more to run hence the ACN had technically withdrew from the race. So that rumour of sell out was figment of imagination of some lousy journalists. Ribadu himself said as much in an interview in 2012. ACN had no agent or monitor at the poll for the presidential election in virtually all states of the federation aside Osun where aregbesola still wanted to show his displeasure to.the last minute withdrawal of Ribadu.

2) APC putting up candidates you don't like? The Presidential nomination form of the APC was open and sold to anyone who wished to enter the race to contest. It is stupidity and lazy thinking to accuse the party of picking its candidate from a particular lot when everybody had a chance to buy the form. It is not APC's fault that Obama and Cameron didn't buy the form, even you had an opportunity to buy the form and contest if you wanted to. The party didn't do like PDP who printed just one presidential nomination form.

The process of candidate selection was open from.sale of forms to presidential primaries. Let use our brains here and stop all these lousy talk.

3) it is a dull reasoning to accuse the party of insecurity when it does not control any arm of the security forces. If what Amaechi said is treasonable to you, then utterances of Doyin okupe, asari Dokubo, Tompolo, ateke Tom, ayodele fayose should made them.be at bar beach now facing firing squad. Be objective and commonsensical in your write up. Amaechi said what ever reasonable opposition would say, when Laurent Gbogbo rigged the CIV election to favour himself amd declared himself winner in an election that every observer knew he lost, if Alhassan Quattara remained mute and docile then I'm sure he would be in prison right now or dead like they killed MKO Abiola for daring to seek a mandate of an election the whole world knew he won.fair and square.

The foremost duty of every responsible government is the security of lives and properties of its citizenry and when such government failed in its duties then.it has no moral justification to remain in power. Why not tell Buhari and Tinubu to lead an expedition to sambisa Forrest to liberate the chibok girls so as to prove to you they are concerned about the insecurity in.Nigeria.

4) political prostitution! I guess you want a party of virgins, born again and devout Muslims, sorry if you understand the dynamics of Politics and political opposition to a ruling party then you would know that every person matters in the game of politics. Politics is about interest and a game of numbers. If anybody wishes to associate with it and is ready to abide by the tenets and manifesto of a political party then he/she should be welcomed. I'm sure you won't say PDP had same set of member since 1999, Ogunlewe, obanikoro, T.A orji, Isa Yuguda, Present governor of Kebbi all defected to.the PDP along the line so.it's political ignorance and stupidity to accuse the APC of defectors to it's folds. Go get educated and informed.

5) APC plans! The manifesto of the party has been well package and put on all media you could lay your hands on, from print, news and social media. The campaign of the party and its frequent jingles on the airwaves should educate you enough. I'm sure you're not expecting odigie-oyegun to come to your house to educate you personally.

Shalom and hoping I've freed you from certain misconception and ignorance.
blah blah blah why're you trying so hard to defend APC? Guess you're on their payroll. We non partisan Nigerians have to weigh these two candidates and we'll not make mistake to choose Buhari. ;P

1) Going on wit d metroline would hav meant additional debt to an already unprecedented debt burden on our nation. When Buhari came to power, d western lenders & IMF knew dat d country had been severely weakened by d debt situation created by d corruption & profligacy of d thieving politicians whom Buhari eased out of power. They therefore saw an opportunity to hold our country to ransom & foist on our hapless & severely weakened nation d neo-liberal economic policies of d IMF wit its several slavish conditionalities including d devaluation of d naira. GMB called their bluff. He rejected d IMF loan & refused to devalue d naira.
2) Ajaokuta under minister of steel, Mamman Ali Makele was a veritable tool of corruption by d NPN. Unfortunately, it was never cancelled by ANY nigerian govt.
3) PZ, UAC, Kingsway, Chanrais & many multinationals folded up under Shagari & not GMB. They folded up not because of d indegenization policy but because d nation was bankrupt.
4) d NPN crooks hoarded food & essential commodities in private warehouses while d masses suffered due to lack of dis commodities. d warehouses of dis crooks were thrown open & nigerians were given a relief.
5) d Buhari/Idiagbon regime was a corrective govt. Unfortunately crooked politicians tried to test its resolve to sanitize d nation by sponsoring treason thru some unscrupulous brown-envelop-collecting individuals.
6) Buhari paid off SOME debts incurred by d thieving politicians while d rest was paid off not too long ago. Unlike under Shagari when for d 1st time in nigerian history, d fed govt couldn't pay staff salaries, GMB paid salaries of workers & never sacked civil servants.
If Shagari's kleptocracy is what democracy is about, may nigeria never know democracy. GMB rescued d nation frm a recession worse than what Greece experienced recently. His economic team under d then min of finance, Dr Onaolapo Soleye rejected d IMF loan & its slavish conditionalities & devised an ingenuous system of barter 4 oil. This was highly successful & it stabilized d economy. d inflationary rate was kept at between 3-5% & d exchange rate at $1 to 1 naira.
To d informed, d decision in dis election is easy & pretty much settled. SAI BUHARI

He made it worst you want to say. Answer the following questions:
1. Did Buhari councel Lagos Metro railway project?
2. Did Buhari counceled Ajaokuta steel project?
3. Did Buhari forced nationalism, insisting on Nigerians running all the companies in country?
4. Did Buhari not send soldiers to town in the name of WAI?
5. Did Buhari ban press from discharging their duties in full?
6. Alot of Civil servants were sacked due to austerity measures.
datribune:
Hahahaha it's easy to know those dat get their info frm Okupe Okugbe's Twitter handle. Nigerians jubilated wildly when Buhari came to power not when he was overthrown.
Of course d General wants to be judged & is being judged in dis election based on his performance while in public office. dis election is a referendum on d performance of d two leading candidates while they held public office. While GMB inherited a nation at d brink of total collapse in d worst economic recession in our history but thru sheer ingenuity turned d economy around, GEJ inherited a nation in times of relative peace & plenty but turned it to one of more divisiveness & a veritable factory 4 producing more tribal & religious bigots & a nightmare 4 d poor. History will be kind to d General 4 stepping up when nigeria needed a leader & rescuing d nation frm d NPN kleptocracy.
Answers to the above questions are yes! Here is what it cursed...
1. In the name of fighting Corruption,Lagos lost both the project and the money invested...
2. Ajaokuta steel would have generated enough money to pay back any investment put on it 100 times over by now.
3. Alot of companies folded up due to mismanagements, leaving millions of Nigerians jobless. British airways is an example. Infact, the shares that were sold did not reach the poor people.
4. People were flogged on the street to instill discipline which I dont have problem with, but alot of Nigerians suffered from these soldiers who oppressed people at will.
5. Press were detained for speaking the truth about the mal-administration of Buhari
6. Nigeria became broke after Buhari paid all of the country's debts and defending naira,to cut recurrent expenditure Nigerians got retrenched.
My brother these are facts about your candidate,Buhari was a dictator...he failed completely,in a sane clime he's not even suppose to be contesting to be a civilian president after all he's done to this country. Well, they've branded him for you as agent of change. Well done to Tinubu and the imported campaign consultant from USA.
PROPAGANDA OF APC.
1. They've brainwashed alot of you not to realized that Goodluck has tried enough to warrant your vote for stability and continuity.
2. They've been able to convince you that Nigeria is going down completely rather than see the effort of GEJ to cushion the effect of the reality of the financial crises.
3. They've been able to rub corruption on GEJ even if he's not the one involved.
4. They've bombarded your mind with their ideals of what a C-in-C suppose to do like leading the frontline against terrorists.
Infact you'll not believe facts because you've been made to believe even though you did not think for yourself before you believe what you believe. Meaning you have been brainwashed or brainbleached!lol grin
