hyness: Yesterday i bought Honeyflow at N2:30 and it ended closing at N2:20 for the day. This morning i panicked and sold off at N2:31, within like 5 seconds somebody came and cleared orders to N2:39. It is now on full bid at N2:41.
Such is this market, you take your eyes off your screen for a few seconds or take decision within a split seconds, the price change. Market is so unpredictable. I have tried to figure out a sequence but it seems this year chart reading is for the masters. I am gradually leaving the market. |

onegentleguy: On going Portfolio Rebalancing by some Asset Managers (mainly PFAs & MFs) in view of the expected NSE bi-annual market review of certain sectoral indices. STERLING BANK may likely replace DIAMOND from among the 3 musketeers of FCMB, FIDELITY and DIAMOND. Also, 1 of 3 not-so-fundamentally sound coys will likely be among the best performing stocks in 2018. ...1 or 2 unknown coys may likely spring up some surprise this year. ...4 penny stocks are also in the race to bring about some astronomical returns this year !!
Next week would be interesting as it could give us a bit of a more clearer picture in this regard.
We continue to observe. Any hint? But I hope it is not Caverton or Aiico?? |

onegentleguy: Some folks are probably in the 'NSE room' just to make money for brokers. ...People really need to understand the basics of price/volume swings and dynamics. One of which is that its unwise to hurriedly exit a stock whose current day low is higher than its WAvg and Ref price, and its highest bid as at the time also higher than both its day low and Ref price. (presently playing out in 2 penny stocks) ...especially when its a fundamentally sound coy.
Thats why oftentimes there are regrets after exiting a coy. No one is perfect, but people should learn to do better. ...otherwise u will only be making money for brokers. ...and those who have the basic idea will continue to benefit from ur psychosomatic behaviour.
Just a pivotal piece of advise. True but people exit for different reasons. |

wanaj0: IF Honeywell Flour get to 7.62, the exchange will COLLAPSE.
I will be surprised if the Full year result sustain the Q3 result. Go to the shops and see there products sold at a discount to the competitors. That will show you that there is likely margin compression. The result ought to be out latest next week I believe. Thanks CP & Wanaj0. Any info as to the status of their new factory in Ogun state? Have production started in earnest and can the new factory inclusion boost their bottom line like it did with Fidson? |

fxuser: Elliot Folks
Was January d end of Wave 3?
Third Waves (Wave 3) '' Third waves tend to be strong and broad. They are typically unmistakable, as confidence in the direction of the new trend is clearly evident. Wave 3 usually generates the most volume and price movement, and they are the most likely wave to extend. The third wave of an extended third wave will likely be the most volatile point of strength in the new trend and things like price breakouts, continuation gaps, volume expansions, and increased breadth will accompany it. In Wave 3 for a stock index, nearly all stocks will participate. Because of the dynamics of this wave, it will provide the greatest clues to the correct wave count as it unfolds. '' #copied
#RandomReading January most likely marked the end of wave 3. A careful look at the chart makes it seem as though the ASI started a bearish elliot wave in March 2018. I really don't know if that exists. |

musty00: This week traded sideways as expected.
We're still here. Bro, I am gradually reducing my exposure. The way market is going, I do not expect a general bull at all this year. Either way, few stocks are showing good signs. I am watching seriously for the pre-result release bull which will affect select fundamentally sound stocks. If a healthy bull is not obvious by the end of June, I will leave the market till November/December. IMO, OGG's recommendations would seem like a prophecy if he shared it in June/July. |
