Even the Bible itself is self-contradictory. In the Old Testament we see a God of violence, of wrath and punishment.
This character is inconsistent to the God we see in the New Testament is all-loving and kind. But Christians always say that God never changes.
Religion / Re: Pope Francis Endorses Same-Sex Couples Civil Union by SyberKate(f): 3:17pm On Oct 22, 2020
Most people don't know the political nightmare it is once an organisation has a huge international presence. Policies you have to look into and adhere to but I would not go into that.

What I will really like to say about this is that the Pope endorsing same-sex civil unions doesn't mean he wants them to get married.
Civil unions are more like a legal contractual agreement and not the same as marriage which is a solemnization of holy matrimony.

If you believe in women right, the right to freedom of speech, to protest etc but you object to same-sex unions, then you are no different from those who try to stifle women right, free speech and freedom to protest because it doesn't sit well with them.

Also, when Jesus was with us did He or did He not spend time in the midst of sinners and was hated for it.
So why should we always have this self-rigorous attitude that someone is too bad because they are gay and don't deserve love or a basic right to civil union.

He would have defrauded them without them knowing if he wanted to. He just wanted them to know how porous access bank security system is.
the way he went about the still not the right way exposing the flaws online gives room for other hackers to use that method against the bank. he would have contacted the bank directly and shown them their security issue and how to fix it
Crime / Re: Ihebuzo Chris: EFCC Arrests Man Who Bragged About Hacking Access Bank Accounts by SyberKate(f): 3:01pm On Sep 12, 2020
The guy na real dummy...
A true ethical hacker would have contacted the bank directly, telling them the flaws they have in their system, and how to fix it.

If the bank can they can find him something for helping them fix their security problem on a low key. Not this one that he went online to be bragging about doing this and that, now they will just treat him as a common criminal

I can't believe the almighty GTbank just wasted my precious time.
After making me wait for long trying to reach my account manager who was not around, I barely managed to finally complete and submit my Form A on Monday, only for them to call me late Tuesday at close of business, telling me "sorry, we can't process your Form A from your savings account, please come to our office and open a current account with us"
I was like WTF... didn't you guys know this before telling me to go ahead and fill the form? If that is your policy then fine but the first question they should have asked me was "do you have a current account with us" I would have said NO and simply carried my money to another bank, simple.
Now I have to start looking for another bank that will process Form A for me with my savings account at this critical time.

Please who has an idea if Fidelity, Access or FCMB can process Form A from savings account?

Good day house...
Please who has applied for Form A through GT Bank and how long did it take for your account to be debited.
Did mine just the other day and they were saying it could take a week or more and I'm sceptical that it shouldn't take that long.

So please who else has gone through gtbank form a application process

1. WHY UK

Paul Drechsler - Chancellor
Professor Paul Croney - Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive
Dr Nauman Israr
Albany Street is 0.6 miles which is about 12 minutes walk to Teesside

The UK has a very strong commitment to cybersecurity and this translates into its universities, meaning many of them offer the course in order to build a strong cybersecurity capability for the country. So there were lots of options to choose from for when looking for a university compared to some other countries.

We live in the digital age where we are constantly generating data, with so many access points to this data, people with malicious intentions are constantly looking for ways to exploit any vulnerability they can find in the system. and they are constantly evolving every day, cybersecurity tries to deal with the protection of data from manipulation by an unauthorised person.

Universities in Nigeria only offer computer science or information technology masters program with a module or 2 relating to cybersecurity, whereas the course I have chosen is core cybersecurity so that I believe will equip me with a much more specialized skillset.

2. WHY TEESSIDE

Teesside University has a silver in the teaching excellence framework which an indicator that the university has a high teaching quality.

The university ranks top 90 in all the different university rankings list I found and also ranks high in the employability ranking list.

Also for my chosen course, I was able to find a lot of past alumni on LinkedIn who are practising professionals and connected with them as well, they also highly recommend the course.

From my findings, Teesside isn't quite as big as other universities but its facilities are still topnotch and comparable, and l had to choose between a big university where 50 students have access to 1 lecturer and Teesside where it's more like 25 students to 1 lecturer. I want to study at a university where I'm not just a number but where I could really count and not just learn but also have access to the right people to share my ideas with and there is a Strong Sense Of Community.

Hello nairalanders. I would love to share my bitter experience today. It all happened by 5.30pm. I had a chat with a seller on jiji and we agreed on a price. I got to his shop and inspectred and saw all phones were sealed. So a receipt was issued and it was written tested and okay. I paid through transfer and left thanking god i managed to get a brand new phone.

By the time i got back home, I tore the nylon as usual. However i heard a sound . I opened the box and saw the phone had flipped. I took out the screen protector, the phone was on. Inshort the phone was a refurbished phone. I felt sad and scammed. I called the shop and they start telling me sorry, that they did not know its refurbished .but i saw them all sealed in nylon. I later discover that the seal tape was missing. The imei sticker at the back was missing, lo and behold the screen was poorly glued. They promised to replace a brand new one. Now the question is how will i be sure brand new one is brand new one.

Nigerian crooks can get anywhere to get the seal sticker before opening it as brand new. I feel so stupid right now. All this happened at iwo road, inside a nice shop to fool ppl. I feel so ashmed. i paid 135k but got refurbished phone of 70k worth.
OP I want to believe you where not born yesterday. All this you wrote is irrelevant, you bought something from a store that isn't what you expected simply go back and return the item or ask for a refund. Telling us the tribe of the person is also irrelevant and I will tell you why.
I have bought about 5 flagship phones, laptops etc from people I have no clue of where they come from in computer village through jiji and guess what, non of them sold me something bad, I always did my due diligence of taking my time to check the product before leaving.
Now I was not always lucky, so last year I got this your phone Note 8 from a shop in computer village again through jiji and after spending time testing the phone I was satisfied took it home and the very next day the phone screen went dead.
I did not come here to open thread that I was scammed, grin
I went back to the store first thing in the morning, explain to them and they gave me another one.
Simple... No too much grammar
Not everyone is a scammer, many of those people are honest hard working people just trying to make a living.
Stop trying to vivify them for their condition.

Tell me you won't feel bad? Be honest..
Same thing with sex to a woman, when she is not ready or in the mood and you force your way in in the name of marriage, that's sexual violation ( rape)...
I like this your analogy, so following this your analogy does it mean the husband should go and sue the wife in this scenario.
I think not

There is what is called marital rape or spousal rape, but under Nigeria law, a husband cannot rape his wife, hence making it not prosecutable. So long you are legally married, each cannot deny each other one of the things that binds them, if you are under any marital rape which would come with abuse, quit the marriage by filing a divorce. Again, once you are legally married, a husband cannot be termed to rape his wife under the nigeria laws. Marital rape is foreign and hence is better resolved privately and not rather by the government. Let me add, once you are legally married, there is an implied general sexual consent at all times which you both cannot deny each other, that is where understanding should come in.
Thank you...
How can a wife not be able to come into an understanding with her husband before going straight to sueing him for rape.
Na so to sue person dey hungary am
Crime / Re: Can A Woman Sue Her Husband For Rape? by SyberKate(f): 8:20am On Aug 15, 2020
People please if you are tired of your marriage please just divorce your husband or wife. It is very well within your right to do so, no body will beat you if you come out and say your husband is not who you thought he was when you married him and therefore you are divorcing him.

But since you don't want to divorce him and you what to form WOKE therefore you go and sue your husband for rape, my question now is how do you live in peace with a man you just sued?
Do you think or still expect him to take you serious as a wife? If the marriage don tire you just divorce, SIMPLE.
There are other ways a couple can come to an understanding when they have a dispute, NOT SUEING

Don't come here and be shouting rape, rape at every incident of not being in the mood or not giving consent, drawing attention from real rape victims who need help.

For those who may misinterpret the point I tried to make earlier, yes I agree a husband or a wife may try to have sexx with their spouse in the course of their marriage and one of the involved party may not be in the mood, yes this can happen but because it is what you signed up for when you got married in the first place therefore proving your spouse raped you in your marriage becomes difficult. So it is not exactly rape but now more like abuse.

Last time I checked marriage is not by force o, if you don't like the terms and conditions, just don't bother getting into one. Remain single, you will be fine, that way you don't have to worry about a husband who may rape you one day.

The way you people throw this word Rape around is annoying.
First of all marriage is not a contractual agreement between two people agreeing to live together.

Marriage last time I checked is the solemnity of two people agreeing to become one. You don't go into marriage with the expectation of my body is still my body, NO in the truest sense of it, a man's body when he is married belongs to his wife, and the woman's body belongs to the husband. That is marriage, I don't know where people are getting this watered down version of marriage that even in marriage NO MEANS NO.

If you don't like what marriage stands for then don't get married, also last time I checked marriage is not by force or by fire.

If you are truly married and you love your husband dearly, why should any of the people in question refuse the other sex, and why should it be taken by force. I believe in a proper marriage setting, the man should have self control for when the woman is not in the mood if he loves her.
And the woman should be able to come to an understanding with her husband if he takes it without her consent rather than rushing to sue him.
