Thank God the goal was allowed because Argentina relaxed a bit after that and Nigeria was able to find their rythm a little bit |

I sent my fiancee then(my wife now) to a driving school, paid for 14days but she could only attend 12days. She never drove me so I didn't know how good she was. Few months later we got married, shortly after we were coming home from church on a sunday we got the road that leads to our street and asked her to drive us home and she lost control trying to branch into my street. Thank God it was a sunday afternoon and the junction was deserted. She almost crashed us into a wall of a building. Only God knows how she remembered where the brake was at that time after not knowing how to slow down at the junction. My heart sank. When we got home she started crying. Initially I was annoyed with her ços it shows she knows nothing about driving. But when I saw her mood I decided to encourage her and promised to re-enroll her in another driving school. I paid for another 14days which she attended though not at a stretch. As a way of making her near perfect I took her out on certain ocassions within my neighbourhood-a GRA where trafic is very light. I was never impressed. She got pregnant and we stopped. She has given birth now and is requesting that we continue. When I remember how slow and terrible she was at learning I will give her an excuse. Those days I took her out were frightening and and what have you. Anyways we will resume soon cos 'am buying her a car for her biz soon. ![]() |
freshwater:Yeah, thanks for your quick response. You didn't mention the type of material the basin should be made of. Do you mean steel(metal) or plastic. And in terms of hours driven what will call short or long distance. I mean driving for say 15mins, 30mins 45mins etc. I use time because I am concerned about how long my products will be in the boot. |
Please can you highlight the advantages of : (1)this mobile pond over the concrete pond (2)the RAS over the open system Factors to compare include: -cost of purchase/construction -operating cost -Maintainance cost -Durability -Stocking density -Operating technicality -other factors you can add. We are about commencing construction for a new fish farm at Evbukhu Community along Benin- sapele road before the by-pass. Planned completion date is Feb. 2010. You can send your response to abeegelee@yahoo.com.Seems your company and ours can do business. |
freshwater:You mentioned the size factor. You didn't expantiate on that. And also what if it's a plastic basin bearing in mind that the polythene bag you mentioned is also a plastic product. |
How I wish I was based in Lagos I would have been more interested. It's a gold mine for a good business person. Happy sales or lease my brother. |
@Poster, I want to purchase a vehicle with which to supply my catfish to customers. Do you think a car with a normal/conventional boot would be okay?Considering the fact that when u close the boot oxygen supply will be reduced and the water becomes heated if u travel a bit far to supply. Will these conditions, though under a short period, have adverse effects on my products. Besides that wagon cars, whcih I think should be a better option, are relatively more expensive than the conventional ones. And I am cutting cost. What do you think? |
joy2dworld:@Joy2dworld,In the Nigerian geopolitical setting Ilorin or Kwara state as a whole in the North!Ehhh!!!!? |
I feel for you guys. God will help you in your struggle. Nigerian Labour Congress is behind you. |
honeric01:This just summarizes our predicament with our LB. And I think there is so much sence in what Kgdavid posted In modern day football their are no more left wingers. The left fool backs move forward in that direction. You'll almost think Evra & Roberto Carlos are left wingers no-no they are LBs.Looking inwards, Remember Ben Iroha and Celestine Babayaro? These are arguably the best LB we've raised. They over-laped and scored goals. These examples apply to Taiwo. Now the main prblem in the team is lack of co-ordinated play. No understanding. If Taiwo overlaps does it mean that Nwanneri, Apam or who cannot cover for him? Now to who is a better suited for a match. It depends on the strenght of your opponent and the kind of result we wish to get from the game. If you are playing a team like Argentina or Brazil or a even difficult away game against an African team like playing in Abidjan, Youande or Cairo and your think a draw or a low score-line defeat is ok Echiejile is a good option.Because he will cover well in the defence and not create much chances upfront. But if you are playing against a relatively weaker opponent that won't pose much threat to ur defence and you equally need to create so many chances so as to score more goals you can partially convert Taiwo to an attacker and leave three defenders to do much of the defending. These are two very good players and a good coach will know how and when to use them. BY AND LARGE FOR THE SITUATION WE FIND OUR SELVES IN, GOING INTO THE WORLD CUP ECHIEJILE WOULD BE MORE EFFECTIVE. ATLEAST SO THAT EVEN IF WE DON'T QUALIFY FROM THE GROUP WE WON'T BE DISGRACED. ![]() |
This Calabar man and him friend Atura. You are asking for a car that was advertised almost 3years ago? Na una type dey start exam without reading instructions. Any way the car might still be available atleast u can rebuy from the person who finally bought it ![]() |
This is the Benin-City where I live o! For the past few months we have been living in fear.Kidnappers, Armed robbers, Hired Killers, Killer police men have taken over the City. Oshiomole is trying but he's not doing enough. PLEASE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COME TO OUR AID |
@ poster, In as much as I agree with you on the fisrt 4 names I 'll completely fault your inclusion of Yakubu, Kaita, and Apam to your list. YAKUBU: Yes he didn't perform well at AFCON 2010 which was because he was just recovering from injury.People criticised Amodu for taking him to Angola'10 but his poor outing was a wake-up call for him. Did you notice lately his club form? He even scored a first class goal against West-Ham last wk-end. If you don't know he is the highest scoring African ever! in the history of the EPL. And for your info he is our best rated striker right now! We want to drop him? KAITA: A graduate of the Siasia golden generation of youth players. At the SE level I'll chose him ahead of Etuhu,Olofinjana and Ajilore in the defensive mid-field. He did the dirty job for the SE in Angola though he got careless occasionally. He is showing levels of maturity and confidence with tournaments. He is equally a utility player as he also assists in the defence when the need arises.(another Garba Lawal in the making). We need him in SA 2010. APAM:Another graduate of the Siasia golden generation of youth players. My second most impressive player at Afcon 2010. Yes he goes to a tournaments and gets suspended but he does the defending job well. He is likened to Bright Omokaro and Austin Eguavoen. In a team we usually have 1 or 2 such players. You remember that APAM SINGLE HANDEDLY MARKED OUT LIONELL MESSI AT BEIJING '08 FINAL? Yes with him in SA 2010 we stand a risk of losing him to suspension I'll suggest Kingsley Udoh should be invited to deputise for him. Lagarbeer sorry -back should invite the following players to fight for jessies: Haruna Lukman Kigsley Udoh Rabiu Ibrahim Obiora Nwankwo (they are all matured for the SE) Stephano Chukwuka Okaka ( plays for Fulham and scored the winner against Wigan) Nedum Onuoha (played 90' for Man. city) Sunday Moses (played 90' for Wigan) Victor Anichebe (just recovering form in Everton) He should also give the following players another oppotunity (THEY ALL PLAYED WHEN WE BEAT FRANCE 1-0!): Dele Adeleye Ebenezar Ajilore Adefemi Olubayo Joseph Akpala Michael Eneramoh Omatsonne Aluko |
Have you seen 'Mama commander'? It's a must watch, lol. I am Igbo and my wife is Yoruba. So I'v got no choice rather than to watch Yoruba movies with her just as we watch English(Igbo) movies. You know two things that piss me off in Yoruba film? (1) poor picture quality as compared with the English(Igbo) films and (2) poor quality of movie sound track.Arkkkk!!! Teribble and offensive to people who know real music. Anyways there's still room for improvement. |
toba:Very correct! maskuraid:Wrong! they watch the English Premiership and Champions' League collectively and spend the whole day discussing Man. U, Arsenal and Chelsea. Those days the only time we watched live football matches was when Nigeria was playing in any of those FIFA U-17/ U-20 World cups or African nations'cup. You know, Nduka Ogbade, Phillip Osondu, Samuel Okwaraji, Christopher Ohenhen. Who sabi about premiership then? |
It is widely reported that some batches of Honda baby boy have transmission problems and 2001-2002 models worst of them all.I am not surprised seeing it on the list. That shows some level of credibility of the report. But how come makes like BMW, Volkwagon, Mitsubishi and Kia are not on the list? We all know people have issues with these cars. Their is no way I can prefer for instance a 2008 Mitsubishi Galant over a 2008 Honda Accord despite this publication. ![]() |
"From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltron: Defender of the Universe. A mighty robot, loved by good, feared by evil. As Voltron's legend grew, peace settled across the galaxy. On Planet Earth, a Galaxy Alliance was formed. Together with the good planets of the Solar System they maintained peace through out the universe until a new horrible menace swept the galaxy. Voltron was needed once more. This is the story of a super force, space explorers-specially trained to bring back, (swaiiiii) VOLTRON the defender of the Universe". It was my favourite TV program on NTA 2 Channel 5 and Channel 10 Lagos. I used to rush home from school quickly so I can start my afternoon/evening chores before 5pm which was usually time for Voltron on a particular day of the week which I can't remember now. My favourite character was Princess Alora(blue lion). And my most hated character was 'Old witch Hagar'. Remember the Red Berret robist that gave Voltron a very tough time? Did you watch Voltron?Share your experience |
Kunle-A:When your brake pad fades too quickly does that not lead to an unexpected brake failure? Will you still say at this point that the braking system is still effective?I don't need to tell you the consequence of brake failure whether at low or high speed. ![]() |
Kunle-A:, but with the publication on this site : http://www.carcomplaints.com/top_vehicles.shtml do you think the Accord 2008 still stands a chance of not being totally recalled? |
Yeah just the Nose mask ![]() |
2008 HONDA ACCORD -- Honda is recalling aftermarket full nose masks, part number 08P35-TA0-100 and 08P35-TA6-100 manufactured between August 9, 2007 through December 11, 2007. The accessory was designed specifically for model year 2008-2010 Honda Accord 4-door vehicles. It is possible for the nose mask material to interfere with part of the hood latch. If the hood has not been completely closed and the nose mask interferes with the secondary hood latch mechanism the hood may pop open while the vehicle being driven. This may result in reduced driver visibility that could increase the risk of a crash. Honda is asking owners to please remove the nose mask immediately and call any authorized Honda dealer to make an appointment to return the nose mask and have it replaced free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during January 2010. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-800-999-1009. For detailed information & supporting documents, see the official NHTSA page concerning recall #09E063000 |
Fhemmmy:I wouldn't want to think so. ![]() |
Lo and behold, the 2008 Honda Accord (the very much respected Anaconda) is second most problematic car! |
Before you purchase any of these 20 makes/models of cars you have to be ready for these problems: http://www.carcomplaints.com/top_vehicles.shtml |
