^^^^ my brother I can't agree more with you. You spoke my mind. |
Who's this Peter Ijeh? He also scored the previous week (Check earlier post). This thread is getting interesting. Anybody who can get to our national team coaches should invite them to come and see. We are unknowingly contributing to the growth of Nigerian football. Who knows future stars may be discovered from here. ![]() |
@ 12large, that's quite rude of you. On the topic I believe Ikpeba is better than Amokachi and Keshi. Did you see Nduka Ugbade and Taribo West yesterday? They were like yacks-not good enough. My major problem with Ikpeba is his pronounciations eg Shelsea instead of Chelsea West-am instead of West-Ham. |
Good thread. I believe because South Africa is participating Supersports will air the matches. Besides our AIT I believe won't disappoint. I believe Nigerian girls will go far. Maybe quarter or semis |
Kinezeala:It beats me hollow seeing comments like these . You no send them abi? When they qualify for the U-17 WC make sure you don't watch any of their games ![]() Some people can be so, annoying. ![]() |

Don't mind Mamadou. He's not even ashamed to mention on internationa TV that he drives a second hand car. I am waiting for any of rubbish publications on Supersport.com. He should be deported from SA back to his native war stricken Ivory Coast. |
Honeric 01, You've thrown patriotism into the winds ehnn? ![]() |
Well if this is true it means we are begining to get things right.Stanley Okoro is one of our hottest kids right now. |
@ Honeric01 you are laughing at Nigeria, instead of you to be |
I am sure those Congolese would have used over-aged players. Nigeria is now tilting towards using the right aged players but most African teams still age-cheat ![]() Not giving excuses anyways. |
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria yesterday started the quest for a ticket to the FIFA U-17 world cup on a shakey note as they fell 0-2 to Congo PR in Brazaville. This means they'll have to win by 3 unreplied goals to advance to the next round of the qualifiers. Recall that Nigeria hosted the last U-17 WC where they lost 1-0 to Switzerland in the final. Players like Sani Emmanuel, Stanley Okoro, Omo Ojabu, Ramon Azeez, Edafe Egbedi, Kenneth Omeruah and others are graduates of that class. Any hope for these next crop of Eaglets/future Super Eagles? The second leg will tell. They are not doing badly in Benin-City. At the peak of the power crisis we had power for 16-20hrs/day.But recenlty, we experince power failure for 15-30mins only for a whole day.My gen-set now has cobwebs cos at time I don't touch it for 2weeks.So I give kudos to PHCN Benin destrict 1 & 2. I don't work in PHCN don't get me wrong. However the strike has been called off.Thank God. |
Nicols don't get me wrong. You might be quite fortunate to buy a good one(toks) cos VW has stopped the production of the Bora. And have you asked urself y VW stopped making the Bora, reason is the low second hand value and other related issues.By and large it's not in the same class with the Passat and Jetta. @Poster you've bought the car already all you need to do just like what Femmy2010 said is take the pains and search for a good VW mechanic cos they are very few. Most mechanics are skewed towards Japanese cars.If they tell you they also fix German cars just run away. ![]() Most of all service when due. |
Good alloys anyways, but I've not seen any in town that is as good as my 17rims ,wicked , thick and daring alloys ![]() Alloys are finner with black,dark-green or dark grey cars.A car with alloys is like a person putting on nice shoes. If you want to add facial value to your car get alloys, people will always look at you car twice. ![]() |
Pure class! The only Toyota Sedan ahead of the Avensis is the Avalon. ![]() |
The National Council on Privatisation (NCP) has approved “core investor” sale strategy for the privatisation of the 11 distribution companies created out of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN.) The decision was taken at the third meeting of the council for 2010 chaired by Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo last Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. This was disclosed by the Mr. Chukwuma Nwokoh, spokes-man of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), the privatisation implementation agency. Nwokoh said the meeting also approved that bidders be selected on the basis of efficiency improvement, that is, the reduction of Aggregate Technical, Commercial and Collection (ATCC) losses that they would achieve over a five-year period, and the bidder whose bid yields the highest net present value in terms of consequential benefits becomes the preferred bidder. According to him, the privatisation council took into consideration the fact that the current ATCC losses sustained by the various distribution companies are estimated at between 40 and 50 percent of the power wheeled to them. This level of losses is said to be unsustainable and if not halted will continue to make the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) absolutely unviable for full and unsubsidised private sector participation. Nwokoh explained that under the proposed privatisation strategy for distribution companies, a private sector operator will acquire controlling equity interest in any of the distribution companies with a view to rapidly improving its operational efficiency. “So, unlike the traditional transaction approach where bidders merely bid on price for the equity shares, bidders would bid on the basis of a trajectory of technical, commercial and collection loss improvements, usually during the first five years of post-privatisation operation or other number of years agreed with the regulator,” he added. Furthermore, he said, this method will be built around the Multi Year Tariff Order (MYTO) issued by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), which essentially sets out the commercial and economic indices that provide the financial model for the entire NESI. The Federal Government approved the National Electric Power Policy in 2001. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo signed the Electricity Power Sector Reform (EPSR) Bill into law on 11th March 2005. Following the enactment of the EPSR Act, NEPA was transformed into PHCN Plc as a holding company for the assets, liabilities, employees, rights and obligations of NEPA. In November 2005, eighteen new Successor Companies consisting of six generation companies, one transmission company and eleven distribution entities were incorporated. NCP had also approved that a minority equity interest be offered to states that wish to participate in the privatisation of the distribution companies. The Federal Government took this decision based on the premise to partner with willing and interested state governments in order to more speedily and effectively deal with emerging transaction and risk issues which, without their involvement, may be difficult to resolve. The privatisation council had approved the privatisation strategy for some of the generation companies and their assets. They include the sale of PHCN Non-Operational Assets – Ijora, Calabar & Oji River Plants. For Sapele Power Plc, Afam Power Plc, and Ughelli Power Plc, the divestiture method is core investor sale whereas the privatization strategy for Kainji Hydro Power Plc and Shiroro Hydro Power Plc is through concessio -thisday newspaper |

This is the 93 model of accord. The 99 model is a baby boy. Please update. Can 350k fly this car? |
The Bora is not the best of the VW products.People have had issues with it. All I can tell you is that it is fragile so you must serviec as at when due and avoid driving on rough terrains.I mean avoid area with pot holes, if it's unavoidable then drive very slowly over them. Over-all it's a car you can enjoy if you bought a very sound one.Happy driving ![]() |
There are confirmed reports that 2 of the rescued Banks-Oceanic bank and Inetrcontinental bank have gone into the hands of Access Bank and FCMB respectively in the form of aqcuisition. This came as a cheering news to economic analysts, depositors and most shareholders of the rescued banks. However the fate of the employees(particularly the MDs,EDs and GMs) are hanging. This aqcuisition means that Access Bank and FCMB would become major players as the 2 acquired banks have a wide network of branches with a large customer base. However, their major challenge would be that of rescuing these rescued banks from bad dept. |
This is not a 98 model. It is a 99 model manufactured in 1998. Happy Sale. |
Dreamers! that gal is already engaged to one 'Mazi' that sells spare parts in Onitsha main market, along 'Opi-Iweka' road. |
