I once took my niece to GT bank. I was holding her while my brother was doing his transaction. She became very pensive and wanted to go on the floor, she became so loud and to avoid embarrasement in the banking hall, i put her down and she started running around the hall, she ran over to some bankers at a table and started giving them high fives, the bankers were so trilled, they gave her a smart kid's savers account t-shirt and bangle, at the end of the day the whole banking hall were laughing at my niece as she gave everyone a high five, it was amazing how we put a smile on the faces of angry bank customers waiting in line.

So at times, don't be so stuck up, study the environment and let go, don't be scarred always about being embarrased rather you might get loads of compliment, like me who by the time my brother, niece and i left the bank, we were like mini celebs, everyone was waving at us.

I could not belive how little security he had, i saw only one police van, and they were all seated in their van while the governor walked around with a few men in suit.. And this is a governor who recieves threats everyday from militant groups for not supporting GEJ. Look how on a thread they've put his life.

But the next day on azikiwe road, i was made to park as the police commissioner was moving in an elaborate convoy, complete with police outriders and vans of policemen brandishing weapons. And he should'nt speak out? GIVE THEM HELL!

So police men block the backgate of rivers state government house along forces avenue during the day when the secreteriate was opened till night when the governor arrive his residence. By the time the governor arrive at night. Was there a large mob waiting at the government house gate that if they just moved their barricades and let the governor pass. Afterwards close it, All hell will break loose? Rather they choose to publically embarrase the governor and since then there has been no formal apology by the commissioner of police to the governor.

Some weeks back i was in port harcourt moving through bonny street in old port harcourt township and i saw governor ameachi inspecting the new integrated cultural center that was being built there. The only was just being followed by a few men in suit. It was a shocking sight. Then a few weeks later i was driving on azikiwe road and a massive motorcade made me park, this motorcade was so elaborate. Led by police outriders and vans and vans of police men. At the center of the whole spectacle was a toyota jeep with lincense plates reading "honorable commissioner for police"....something is going on in rivers state and no matter your partisanship. It should worry you. If not for anything. For our young democracy.

my friend. France has fought in afganistan for 11 years before pulling out according to their aggreement with the u.s who will be withdrawing in 2014, secondly. France left mali after weeks because it pushed back the rebels and had to hand over to the malians to hold their country. Do you expect them to stay forever? When last did the u.k or u.s independently invade nations but france within a span of two years invaded ivory coast and mali while still fighting in afganistan and helped in bombing libya.
