goldwaters: . Have u sorted out ur fake story abt ur dean?keep brandishing your quantum idiocy. |
pimp_lucious :is'nt this texas cowgirl? Is'nt this cowgirl boots that girl is wearing. |
The probe followed a petition over alleged misappropriation of funds by the officials of the Nigerian embassy in Washington D.C.http://premiumtimesng.com/news/139770-senate-probes-missing-27m-embassy-funds.html http://legisreporting.com/senate-news-senate-news-probes-missing-27million-funds-from-sale-of-foreign-mission-assets/ |
And they had to retweet it for the world to see? I did'nt say anything o! :-XAnd they had to retweet it for the world to see? I did'nt say anything o! |
I will rather shop in pack n shop or emporium or any other mall on earth than shoprite. If i every nigerian taught like me, by now MTN, shoprite, dstv and the others would have been sent packing. Idiotic racist south africans. |
That is the more reason governor jang has to respect himself and stop this childish games. No governor in this country is his mate, infact no member of the federal government of nigeria is his mate. Even the jonathan who is using him as a pawn must have been in scholl when jang was military governor of benue and then gongola state...governor, respect yourself before soliciting respect from your junoirs. |
ofonimeumoh: You want govt to build a bridge from Bonny to Port Harcourt. Do you know long that bridge will be? Have you elevated the EIA of such a project? Do you know the dangers of building such a bridge into the Atlantic ocean? Do you know the number of pipelines that will be destroyed?mister. They won't build a bridge the entire length of the bonny sea id that is what you are think, which is shockingly absurd. There is a swamp throught ogoni that can be dualized and with the road and a couple small bridges to bridge the gap where there is water, the road will ber complete and will cost less than the billions thrown away for trash like national identity card. |
Bensonite: You are funny! They are talking of Kenneth Kobani who is an Ogoni man and you are dragging other tribe into it. He was national treasurer of ACN for three years and you say he was not really a member. So if he was still there would you still say the same. You guys always have double standard and is a shame.of course! I always said it that he was never loyal to the ACN, he just went there to console himself after ameachi took over PDP in the state. I know his mother very well and his brothers, they live at GRA close to the hotel presidential in port harcourt. He has looked and seen that he has no future in ACN so he decided to join the campaign against ameachi so if he fall, he will return to a prominent spot in rivers government, this the the game going on in rivers now. Everyone is picking their sides. Don't you wonder why tonye princewill have'nt said anything since this fued started? He is weighing his options. |
Before PDP goons start popping bottles of champage i urge you to return the wine to the celler because kenneth kobani was never an ACN member, if was always in PDP. Infact. He was commisioner of finance for peter odili in rivers state. He only joined PdP when ameachi came on board, now with the current witch hunt by jonathan's goons in the state, he has left ACN and is positioning himself for a return to government if jonathan suceed in deposing ameachi. Same thing with abiye sekibo, gubernatorial candidate for the ACN in the 2011 rivers election who just resigned from the party too and he is an from okrika, patience jonathan's homtown. Mr and mrs jonathan are really working!!! |
Gov. Jang, this is more reason why you have to recuse yourself from all this childish fightings. No governour is your age, infact no member of the federal government of nigeria is your age..even the jonathan you are bowing to and working for must have been in school when you were military governor of benue and then gongola state. governor, respect yourself before you seek respect from your junoirs. |
dBard: Dismissiveness..His last meeting at govt hospital at gra concerning d state of d free med care services n state of d gen hospitalsa leader can listen to advice and still come to his ultimate decision. That is why he was elected to lead. The state can't be run as a plebisite...give me examples of how he has cracked down on pople for opposing him. |
noblezone: Hahahaha.your story does'nt check out. There is no way this happened and no word got out. No bloody way...even abiye sekibo and omeahia who hired tugs to every poliing station to protect their interest never made such a claim. Opposition agent where sent as far as polling station in obakiri and bonny island and you say this thing happen in obio akpo and no one said a word. Amusing. |
deeobserver209: I thought I was the only one who sees Rotimi Ameachi the way he is. Thank God there are others who are not fooled by his playing the victim tactics.i see you have forgotten so soon what jonathan did to timipre slyva, who today he has replaced with a man who is pratically his puppet. Chibuike ameachi lives in port harcourt government house(brick house) on forces avenue but seriake dickson lives in the bayelsa state government lodge and his deputy occupies government house and you tell me ameachi has abandoned his people? Jonathan crushed slyva because he refused to play ball claiming he was corrupt but at the same time padoning the godfather of corruption himself, depriye alams. Lovely hipocrisy. |
I think this article is also a direct reflection of a man called goodluck jonathan who despite distain and enermies working against him managed to work his way from a university lecturer to a deputy governor, governor, vice president and now president, today he is raining hell on ameachi for a reason no one has still told me. Ameachi is right to speak openely about the how vigorously the guys at abuja are trying to bring him down, people see it as arrogance or careless talk but little by little he is bringing the nigerian people along with him to the execution chamber being prepared for him by the FG, and whatever they do to him will be in the full glare of nigerians. Timipre slyva choose to be silent and portray an imagine of unity and respect to the president till the very end. Where is he today? It is also telling that jobathan is after ameachi who helped him secure the largest votes across the whole country in rivers state meanwhile he rewards the greatest thief in governorship ship history, peter odili with a supreme court seat for his wife. Let 's not forget also how odili has repeatedly called jonathan a scheaming crook for stealing away the vice presidency which suppose to be his. Politics has always, is and will always me treacherous, ameachi has done nothing but protect himself. |
noblezone: At polling centres during the last elections, were made to choose between voting for Amaechi or be thrown out of polling booths. this is not hear say, I was there. Police watched, corpers simply put their faces down. Some of us who protested where asked to leave.you expect me to belive this? So who ameachi working with to make this work beautifully? Inec? Or the police inec sent to supervise the process, why did'nt those turned away form voting not speak out and finally which polling station was that and in which part of rivers state? |
slimghost: hahahahahahahahahahagrandpa! Could you please luminate me on ameachi's "dismissiveness or high handedness" with esamples please. |
I was just watching a joint press conference between pres. Obama and pres. Sal of senegal. Obama just called the greatest and stable countries in west africa. He called ghana, senegal,LIBERIA,SIERRA LEONE,MALI,NIGER and he did'nt call nigeria. It was jaw dropping. |
noblezone: If the protest is against Amaechi and the police say that there must be permission before any protest, will you sa the same thing?ameachi has never stopped any protest against him in rivers state. Infact he goes to communities in rivers state for townhall meetings where he debates people on his performance. He urges and respects peoples views. You can say he is rude to his critics but he his never high handed or dismissive. And finally, the nigerian constitution guarentees the right to peacefull assembly without permission from anyone except during a state of emergency. If the protest turn violent, the police can arrest the violent once and charge them to court. |
BrightCar: DON'T BE FOOLED! I THOUGHT YOU ARE LEARNED, AMAECHI IS A TOUT, AN AGBERO, WHO DOESNT CARE, ONLY FELLOW TOUTS WILL JOIN HIM.ameachi is an agbero who get rid of all the agbero who where raining terror on rivers state when odili was governor. There is a reason anti ameachi lawmakers are now sponsoring ad campaigns on port harcourt radio stations urging people not to join the protest because if that protest happens., they'll know ameachi is not alone in rivers state. |
figment232: No one is above the law my bro,if Amaechi breaks the law he wud be thoroughly dealt with.break which law? The nigerian constitution recognises the rights of the people to peacefull assembly without interferance from government or permission from anyone except during a state of emergency which rivers state is'nt under. Then what right does an idiotic police comissioner have to overule the constitution of the federal republic and make himself lord who decides which protest he will allow. Just imagine the raw idiocy. |
flexrivers: You must be really stupid for making this commentreally? Any reason why the comment is silly? Or your brain can't phantom one? |
There is oil almost everywhere in the world, and with the advent to solar enermy, natural gas, fraking,etc...dirty poluting oil will be a thing of the past, those who have it will drink it. |
I am really looking forward to ameachi's protest against federal interferance in rivers state on the streets of port harcourt. The stupid commisioner of police has ordered that no protest will happen in the state without his permission, anyone held without permission will be met with arrest. So i am waiting for that day, waiting for the policeman that will flog the governour a baton, throw tear gas at him or lock him up in mile 1 police station. |
loswhite: what is d meaning of this nonsense u posted? So because there us no bridge linking bonny island to port hacourt every other bridge should wait till dey construct one to Bonny abi. B4 u post nonsense find out why they hav not build d bridge. Ppl in Bonny hav been frustrating the plans including their chiefs as @ 2005 to 2007 and their are other constrains. Without the bridge LNG and shell terminal r already impacting on the economyi will not engage in childish name calling with you cause apparently, i am above you so let me just get straight to the point. Which bonny chiefs are fustrating bonny-port harcourt road? Is it the same road that the amayanabo talks about whenever any federal politician pays a coutesy visit to him? The same road bonny chiefs like henry buowari brown and manilla pepple have led delegations to abuja to clamour for? Tell me how the chiefs are fustrating it. Tell me the names of those chiefs. And tell me what power those chiefs have over such a project when edward pepple is the LGA chairman; secondly, incase you are ignorant to this fact, bonny is the only place in nigeria with uninterrupted power supply, which is also cheap. Do you know how many manufacturing companies will move there for the cheap and stable power but can't as there is no good means of transporting their goods to the mainland or attract workers from the mainland? Do you know how much the economy of that island will move from oil, who told you the road is because of the terminals? I will direct your advice of knowing facts before posting back at you because you need it more. |
tebill: I believe ur just ignorant...cos ur command of words don't look stupid...ibeno is the host community of Mobil....the host community of mobile which already has a road, meanwhile the host community of shell, NLNG,TSKJ, siapem,CBI,lamnaco, and every a mobile plant has no "SINGLE" road linking it to the capital city. |
BlessedFellow: @OP: I have some information for you. I find it very hard to believe you have a 30 year old dean. The dean of any faculty in a conventional NUC accredited university must be a professor who should have been at least a head of department at a point. According to NUC regulation, a Ph.D holder MUST have at least fifteen (15) years teaching experience before he/she can appointed a professor. That implies your dean bagged her Ph.D at the age of 15. What age did she start primary school? I would not have had much issues if you said she was the HOD.firstly. My subsequent post points to the fact that we(her students) do not know here exact age but due to her looks, there is the general perception that she is 30. Did you know your dean's age while in school? Secondly, vice chancellor,chancellor,rector,etc..all means the same thing. It depends on the country. I have lived abroad and most uni's call their head a rector or chancellor while nigeria choose to call there's a vice chancellor and pro chancellor for a ceremonial head, how is that hard to understand. Google is your friend. As for appiontment of dean's, i'm sure you know all universities don't operate the same way. If you persist i can post a link of a press statement by the v.c of a prominent nigeria federal uni on the appiontment of dean's. Thanks, but my spelling are perfect except for errors associated with fast typing. |
samilo88: Did I hear you say ibeno is of no economic importance? Please before you come to a public forum to say anything always get your facts right. Qua iboe terminal QIT is located in ibeno and they belong to ExxonMobil's operational area which accounts for about 40% of nigeria's oil production.before this bridge there are already roads leading to ibeno, it is not like this bridge is a saving life line for them, i seriously doubt the correctness of your 40% figure but majority if not all oil gotten by shell in the niger delta is sent to the bonny oil terminal for onward export abroad but that same bonny does'nt have a single link road to port harcourt, travelers in 2013 still have to ply a dangerous sea to get to the island. Go google bonny island and ibeno and tell me economically, who is more important. |
When i said here that mandela is on life support and the south african government are forcing him to live as he gives them a sense of international relevance, i was cursed...now look at it. Why are they forcing a 94 years old man to continue a life of pain and endless trips to hospitals? It's just sad. |
Rubbish! Do this people know the meaning of priorities? They are building a bridge in a areas which will have little or no economic impact in nigeria but there is no road connecting port harcourt to bonny island, the location of the largest oil terminal in west africa, largest LNG plant in africa, the only plave in nigeria that has uninterupted power supply. Do you know what a road linking it to port harcourt will do for the niger delta economy? Yet they keep doing lip service for years. Common sense is not common. |
Glad pres. Jonathan has retraced his steps. If only he had continue where pres. Yar adua stopped, nigeria would have been a member of the BRICS by now. During yar adua's term in office dimitry medvedev visited nigeria, including wen jia boa but jonathan just threw all these away to embrace the american who disregarded him to the point he never step his foot in the oval office, all meeting with obama was at blair house. Meanwhile other african countries get state visit honours. We had better reevaluate our foreign policy and make friends with the kings of tomorrow not the declinning kings of today. |
Pipsland78: My friend will you sharaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap and stop dribbling yourself. Because you got caught now you are trying to claim your school is not in Nigeria.you my dear exude stupidty and prolific ignorance..what in my post says my school is foreign? I only made a point that whatever name you call the v.c, be it a chancellor, rector, etc. It all means the same thing. Now listen to me, i have tried my best to be respectfull to some folks here but i won't stand by and watch a pack of mad wolves tear into my intergrity...any futher idiotic comment will be meant with a brash and most disrespectfull response. No one forced you to comment here. Plonker!! |
