They were writing exam, I was waiting for my brother outside the exam hall where they sell provisions, some community boys where trying to collect money or something from invigilator I don't know exactly

So they called police guy police picked every young man or boy in the area they left only females who were selling there. I couldn't even complain because if I cry or complain then who will console the 12 year old boy who came along with his mom because his elder brother was writing exam and his mom couldn't leave him alone at home, this 12 year old was cuffed to me and seated side by side in the back seat of the Hilux atleast we entered the main car others where at the back for the full world to see.

But when you are a big man in the midst of such poverty you become target, you can't interact with people, you need security 24/7 for absolutely no reason, the mere fact that you are rich makes you popular and a celebrity. Just being rich alone and the rich isn't even billions of dollars just mere millions or even billions in naira and you lose peace of mind.

Poverty breeds lack of education and exposure which makes people lose value for human life, poverty if money leads to poverty of the mind this is too sad.

A small example a company entered where I live in Naija and as that company came guess what? They paid for electricity bill, for the entire area, whenever light goes they call phcn, if anything spoils they replace it ASAP because they need electricity to produce what they produce it shouldn't be so but at least for the community this is an improvement from just a year ago when if transformer blow they will go round collecting contribution some will want to claim smart and not pay, others won't pay on time etc etc and it will delay for months even when eventually everyone pays the light will still not last for even 2 hours per day.

So develop people hopefully even if those people don't develop their surroundings crime will go down, higher value will be placed on human life, standard of living will improve, human sympathy,, relationships, minding your business things you can't quantify the value of will increase, you will not be able to pay people 500naira each to buy their votes, or pay them 10,000 or less to kill a human being, life will be better for you and those around you.
