CLARIFICATION ON JOS TRAIN SERVICES

1. On November 8, 2024 (over one month ago), Jos Train Services experienced a minor derailment, with the last coach obstructing traffic at Old Airport Junction. The NRC District Manager ordered the immediate uncoupling and repositioning of the coach to clear the buildup of vehicles.

2. Since then, Jos Train Services have resumed operations smoothly, transporting an average of 300 passengers per trip at no cost.

3. We are aware that some individuals are misrepresenting the incident by re-circulating the video, misleading the public into believing that train breakdowns are frequent. We assure you all that this information is a misrepresentation of the facts.

4. Aside from this incident, our trains only stop at designated stations for 2 minutes to pick up or drop off passengers, as required.

The DSS is a national security agency while the EFCC is an anti graft agency, the DSS is also empowered to investigate financial crime, if the EFCC feels or has proof DSS officials have committed graft, there are clear cut procedures, ever wondered why the NIA case was closed?
