Only I don't want to see people mocking Biafrans for wanting to exit but inwardly praying you too had the opportunity to do same. Pls note: No lefelendum, no erection = Yoruba Nesan now Incidentally, I have never been opposed to the concept of Biafra. Even, when MNK initially came onto the political space with his own fire-brand approach to ethnic nationalism, his message still resonatewith me.
However, I stopped watching his broadcast when he started sending vitroils towards my ethnic group as if yoruba are the ones holdinghis people down in the country. |

The only question that remains to be answered is whether or not Mr.Simon Ekpa has ALREADY been arrested, or is going to be arrested VERY SOON. Am currently watching Simon Ekpa on Tasin News TV, LIVE! So far, nothing had been said to indicate his arrest is imminent. |

asanausana91: For Obi not to condemn the activities of ipob ESN terrorists shows that he is sympathetic to their objectives and he is one of them.
We cannot have a president that is sympathetic to secessionists.
Anybody that still love this country should not pray for peter Obi to win this election. The number one mission of Peter Obi is actualizing Biafra agenda. Has Buhari come forward to condemn the atrocities that his fulani kinsmen have unleashed on the rest of the ethnic nationalities in the country? Even atiku has never said anything about his fellow fulani terrorists and the havoc they are inflicting on Nigerians
Yeah? But you can have a president that pampers and enable terrorists in their quest to obliterate other Nigerians and seize their ancestral land.
I have never pretended to love this British contraption. In fact, I made bold to assert that no one loves this country. Everyone is just waiting for his/her turn to steal our commonwealth, blind.
If I believe Obi can disintegrate this warped union by actualizing Biafra (but I know that the true owners of Nigeria will never allow obi near A.rse-hole rock, except as a guest), then I (and my family & friends, will vote for him.
But I know obi can't do nada. Was he not the one that publicly claimed that "there's NOTHING wrong with our constitution".

Remember how the igbos took arms against the Republic, just look at recently how ipob terrorists are killing nigerians from different regions of the country. You definitely must be a quota-system fulani because your futile attempt at deflection is D.O.A
Ipob terrorists have never killed any yoruba person in yorubaland however we all know how fulanis have been killing everyone in the entire country (from North to South, from East to West), for eons.

sukkot: well listen you are from the tribe of gad via erie but understand that yoruba is from the tribe of joseph. so you are not the only israelite here. and hausa fulani is ishmael. so understand this whole israel thing applies to all not just you. the yoruba went to that region of nigeria from ancient egypt as israel slaves. the tribe of joseph is who became the yoruba. this is why the orisha is similar to the bible. for example orunmila is daniel of the bible Orunmilla cannot in all honesty be compared to Daniel. In fact, there are many similarities between Orunmilla and Socrates, the Greek philosopher who is better known as the Father of Western philosophy. Orunmila on the other hand is known as "Baba IFA" where Ifa, simply means wisdom.
Orunmilla lived hundreds of years before Jesus hence why Ifa - the word of Eledumare (God) to the yorubas -predates the bible by several centuries.
Whilst the Koran contains 6,666 dialogues, the Bible (Old & New testament) have approx. 34,000, IFA contains 410,000 dialogues. |

tungamaje: It's no more news that Nigeria is suffering acute food shortage. Our staple food rice and beans are almost out of the reach of an average Nigerian. Some few years back, that wasn't the case. In those days especially during the farming season one hardly gets water to buy because mai ruwas (water hawkers) had all gone back to their respective villages to farm. The opposite is now the case. Many of them don't dare go to their villages because bandits have driven them away, they prefer riding keke or okada in the cities. Same scenario is almost the case in the food basket region of the middle belt. We are currently in an electioneering campaign period when the three forerunners are promoting themselves to be elected. Who among these three, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Mr Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku do you think would deal decisively with the bandits and killer herders so that farmers would be able return to their villages to farm. Please just quote and type your choice None of them can stop fulani herdsmen from slaughtering us in our farms, streets, motorways and in our homes.
This is why I do not wish to validate their sham election with my Pvc. |
Politics › Re: Ogun To Host New Refinery Soon by T9ksy(m): 2:10pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
candidtalk: I agree with a lot of your points. If you are suggesting our own nation, I am a big fan of that also.
As a realist, I must ask you how do suggest we get beyond the fact the Nigerian constitution outlaws secession?
Remember arguably the greatest Yoruba to exist in the modern era, Awolowo, sought to include a secession clause in our constitution deliberately and purposefully because he understood the lack of it will forever be used to frustrate any region that wants to leave the union.
Do you know more than Awolowo? If yes, tell me how we can secede today legally and immediately when Awolowo, credited to be one of the wisest and most intelligent Yorubas to live, never achieved it..
Buhari can level the SE legally because Kanu and IPOB are agitating for what our constitution, superior to everything else, prohibits. That's the reality for adults into successful solutions provisions.
In life you must work smarter not harder. We have hosted regional governance before and can re-introduce it as a step in the right direction If we cannot have Oduduwa because constitutional legality does not allow for that. Let us settle for the next best option.
We are the same in wanting the best for Yorubas but we differ in that I accept we can have a plan B if plan A is not workable.
There is more than one way to skin a Cat. Being obdurate, one-dimensional and singularly focused on an independent nation, as absolute, is not a smart or winning approach towards our best interest. Which Constitution are you talking about? Is it the Independence day one that WE all agreed to or the one written by the military regime of Abdul salami or whatever his phocking name is?
I certainly don't make claims that am more knowledgeable than PA Awolowo however I don't recollect anytime Awo agitated for a yoruba nation ot for secession from the federal govt. Awo contested in the "79 election.
The "99 constitution started off with " we the people...............". I don't know about you but I was old enough at the time in question and I do not remember when we were consulted and acquiced to this unworkable unitary system of governance.
The "superior" constitution you are eulogising is unfortunately not worth the piece of paper it's written on. Its actually thr source of our problem and until its jettisoned in to the garbage bin, this flawed amalgam will remain in perpetual doldrums. |

@Post. Great development. No surprise because the SW is punching way below her capacity per human and material/mineral/geographical endowment.
Let all Yorubas push for regional governance . Once we gain it we can achieve our true potentials free of 'one Nigeria' encumbrance. Bro, please forget "Regional governance" which our founding fathers painstakingly deliberated upon among themselves as the most appropriate style of governance giving the nature of the country.
However, 6 years later, some smart Alex's (with ulterior motives) truncated our nancent democracy, scuppered our constitution and without even conducting a plebiscite, unilaterally replaced it with unitary system of governance.
What we need and required is an outright separation from these people who has never meant us well and actually wants to covert our land and resources. Let everyone bears his/her father's name. We have nothing in common, save the colour of our skins.
We should never have agreed to being lumped with these guys in the first place. When one considers thr landmark progresses we attained when we were FULLY in charge of our region and its resources (both human & natural), it will be obvious to even the blind that this pseudo One Nigeria is definitely against our development. It is an impediment to our progress. |

owobokiri: Ironsi never organized any coup! On the contrary, Ironsi stopped the Jan 15th 1966 coup on its tracks. Coup was already a success until he stepped in. Everything is not all about ethnic hate! You are always juggling facts to suit your warped and narrow tribal narratives! You can do better. Several individuals who participated in those events are still alive today and have NEVER accused Aguiyi Ironsi of any sort of involvement in the coup.
Olusegun Obasanjo who just returned from a military course in England was in the same apartment with Chukwuma Nzeogwu on the night of the coup. Obasanjo was the man who would later convince his friend Nzeogwu to leave Kaduna and fly down to Lagos to meet Ironsi after Ironsi crushed the coup in Lagos. Nzeogwu was promptly arrested at the tarmac once his plane landed in Lagos!
Both Obasanjo who tricked Nzeogwu to Lagos and Danjuma who led the soldiers that killed Ironsi have NEVER accused Ironsi of sponsoring or involvement in a coup. It's the South West media that are deliberately dropping such inuendos! The northern officers accused him of not being decisive in terms of conducting trials for the coupists. That to them was his crime. You are the ones accusing Ironsi of coup plotting. what a load of tripe!
Maybe ironsi didn't plan the Jan.15th coup but he definitely had foreknowledge of the coup. So too did Ojukwu and also fajuyi.
There were just too many coincidences as per why ibo politicians and military personnels escaped the bloodletting occasioned by ifeajuanna and his murderous crew. |
