TheGoodJoe:....... and millions of igbos died! He, Oju-iku repeated the same egocentric attribute of his at the kampala peace conference in Apr 1968. He refused to back down and insist on continuing with the war even though, Enugu was about to fall. More igbo lives were lost simply because of Ojukwu's obduracy. |
Thanksful:How did you arrived at thatto conclusion that he's yoruba? He's father might have been yoruba ( which in itself is open to deep scrutiny) however, the fact here is, GRV ,apart from not speaking the language, does not see himself as yoruba. He sees himself as an Igbo man which is thr crux of the matter and not whether any one rejects him. He is a big boy at 40yrs old and as such should be allowed to determine which identity suits him best. He has made his choice, so you igbos should stop trying to force his candidature on yorubas. He's Igbo..........Qed |
CallmeTrinity:So, your forefathers founded Lagos State? When was this? Did your forefathers met anyone in lagos state or is it lagos Island when they founded the state? I hope you can provide credible answer to these m questions, above? Btw, the hold the benins had over lagos Island went overboard with the fall of Benin empire in 1895. |
jmoore:Good......you can carry all your phantom properties back to your village because this warped union will not last much longer. |
jmoore:Maybe, if you desist from "developing" the land of those whom, you claim are tribal bigots and hates your guts, there will no abandoned properties to steal. |
Abandoned properties, stage II loading.......... |
BloomingDale:[i]Good luck retrieving your oyel wells from "one Nigerians: ,as you surely gonna need it[i] |
gidgiddy:You are quite right but there are many ways to skin a wayward cat. Last time you tried to rule Yorubas and we rejected your move, you igbos ended up introducing a new word into our nascent democracy; " carpet-crossing". The 2nd time, you covetous folks tried to overrun our land, we stopped you deceitful greedy a.r.s.es at Ore. This time around, we will stop you guys again whatever it takes.. |
humilitypays:This is exactly why others find you guys, infuriating. So igbos like you are now the ones to tell us who is or not, a true son of yoruba? At any rate, we have all seen pics of him with ipobl's flag. FYI, in our tradition, any one who uses his left hand to point out his father's house is a bastard. Clearly, Gbadebo/Chinedu has shown that he's One by referring to yorubas as "Afonja". Chinedu of mixed parentage has clearly declared how he see himself, which is, an ibo man. So I suggest, you guys quit all these infantile antics which is obviously, to no avail |
Op , all your reasons highlighted above are quite valid. I personally, wants to breakTinubu's chokehold in lagos however, am not voting an Ipob sympathizer to rule lagos. I can still recollect how igbos marginalised yorubas in their own region, simply because their brother became Minister for education, in the 1st republic. |
Ogbuefi2020:Conflicted lot, you guys are. What is "cowardly" about yoruba agitation? We remain resolute in our agitation for our own country hence we refrained from their political shenanigans, they called "S/election" whilst your Ipobs have all but morphe to "Obidences". I warned you igbos beforehand, that the only way "Pandora" Obi will see A.r.s.ehole Rock will only be as a guest. Abeg, make una go court o ![]() |
AbdulMagaji:At the time of independence till the coup by ibo soldiers, yorubas were in opposition to fulani/Igbo govt. In the 2nd republic, yorubas were again in the opposition to shagari/ Zik govt. Zik must have a thing or two for grade II fulanis teachers' a.r.se. Both TB & shagari were .......... |
kettykin:oh, but I thought you guys are for Biafra? Now you are with one Nigeria until you lot don't get your way then it's Biafra or death. |
PoliteActivist:I can tell that even you, do not believe that oxymoron you penned above. Oh so, igbos are the best in everything, ba? Unfortunately, we don't see these so-called greatness, manifested in their homesteads. It's only when an Igbo man leaves his homeland and ventures into another's, that's when he miraculously becomes the "best". No wonder, you guys were the ones who conceived the ridiculous notion of a One united Nigeria (and passed it into law) where you can freely showcase your phantom greatness in other people's region which you can't demonstrate in the land of your ancestor's. Charity, they say, begins at home but I presume, for igbos, it's the other way round. Their charity only commence when they leave their father's . land. Our founding fathers painstakingly and meticulously worked towards not allowing one region to dominate another hence the title "federal" Republic of Nigeria/i] |
PoliteActivist:Yeah, I remember how "hard-working" igbos were in the 1st republic, whereby they dominated the educational system in the old Western region with all the universities therein, VCed by them simply because another "ambitious and hard-working Igbo man" - Aja Nwachukwu emerged as the "chief laborer " (Minister) of the "Labour Camp " (of Education in Nigeria) Even the northern region who is the most educationally-challenged among the 3 major groups still managed to get a Northerner to VC, their only university. I repeat, one Nigeria favors igbos and their agenda to a "T". I mean, without the fake One indivisible union, how else would an Igbo man leave his region to dominate others in their ancestral land? |
PoliteActivist:ol' boy, me too don't understand the bolded above especially as you inferred here however the oyinbo man who owns the language, define this act as.............. " A market structure characterized by a single seller, selling a unique product in the market. In a monopoly market, the seller faces no competition, as he is the sole seller of goods with no close substitute." How you, in your infinite wisdom can believe this greedy act is convertible with hard-working and ambitions, beats me hollow! |
elnegrodeafriqu:Abi o.......... |
LadyExcellency:Phock restructuring, Yorubas wants out of this dumb and unholy union with those we have nothing in common with except for the colour of our skin Yoruba nation on my mind...........no going back Anyway, the owners of Nigeria have already said, they don't want to change the status quo as there's nothing wrong with our constitution. |
elnegrodeafriqu:Am sure, there are no prizes for guessing RIGHT, first time...............igbos. |
DMerciful:I believe, this was why our founding fathers insisted on federating units when drafting the constitution that will be applied when governing the new amalgam to ensure no region will be preponderant over any other region/s (in the union) but here we are today with the same problem that our founding fathers painstakingly tried to avoid. |
jmoore:Omo, receive sense na! Yes, igbos voted ObJoke who was the Northerners' choice so in essence, you guys voted as per your fulani masters' instruction. You igbos have never done anything positive for yorubas. Same way, you igbos refused to vote for Abiola who still won, regardless......... |
Litmus:Yes o! If Obi perchance clinch the presidency, the "owners of Nigeria" will not give it to him, instead, they will annul the election to usher in "interim govt" which of course, will be populated with handpicked "Nigerians". |
ObaOfYorubaLand:They are not "useless soldiers" maybe to you but to those who sent them they are quite useful. Those who send them are not bothered about the elections rather they were sent to lagos and other southern cities to quell any insurrection that might occur after they announced their fraudulent (Presidential) results. The fulani cabal in ar.se...hole rock needs to maintain the status quo in the country. |
SLAP44:It's you and your fellow One Nigerianists that are in for an almighty shock. Whether you all like it or not, fulanis will decide (as always) who occupies aso rock. |
SLAP44:Obi cannot do chi chi! Nigeria is irredeemable. So you really believe that fulanis will gift "pandora" Obi with the keys to aso rock? E go shoke you. Yoruba nation on my mind. You biafrianists are now playing one nigerianist for the country, you guys referred to as a "zoo". |
SLAP44:That's just the kind of response I expected from a biafran apologist now turned one nigerianist, simply on account of his tribeman being a presidential candidate. Lame retort. Juvenile excuse. I do not hate obi neither do I hate Tinubu however being g a realist, I know that the country is too far gone for any messiah to redeem. Neither obi nor ttinubu can revive Nigeria and anyway, the fulanis are not ready to give up power without an almighty fight. |
SLAP44:Am sure, you know what to do with your fake inconsequential love for the Yoruba people that you and your mischievous ilk have chosen to dubbed "fulani slaves", but now, na omo ina go come tell us who is true yoruba omoluabi or not. |
NothingDoMe:That's exactly the fulanis objective in the first place. These marauding locusts from the sahel are not ready to hands off their vice-grip on our ball$ ( southern & middlebelt ). Jagaban is wasting his time and money as it's obvious that buhari is never going to honour his agreement with Tinubu. The distate the current fulani cabal in aso rock holds for jagawerey is only matched by fulanis of the 90's who though were friends and colleagues of MKO later betrayed him, jailed him and eventually killed him. As for obi and his Obi supporters they are truly labouring in vain. The current "owners of Nigeria " will not willingly give power to Obi without a fight. Meanwhile all the military and security apparatus ( in the country) are within their grasp. This is probably going to be the ast election this country will witness. |
naijapips04:Yeah but Igbos set the precedence with Zik licking sardunna's backside like his phocking slimy life depends on the sustenance oozing from the fulani spiritual leader's gworro a.r.s.e. |
limeta:Go and put one (igwe) there na. However, he will still be subjected to indigenous (Yorubas ') laws and customs. If ibo Igwe departs at any time from the rules & regulations given to him, he will be banished from the land but not before his obdurate a.s.s has been flogged to reset his brain cells. Remember the Igwe in akure who disrespected the paramount ruler of the land. He was flogged naked at the towns' marketplace and then sent packing from the land. |
MXrep:Yes you did however Objoke was not yorubas' choice rather the fulani's cabal political construct and you guys just followed your perennial master's trajectory. |
CYBERSOLDIERSre:Obi is not wining chi chi. You people are so politically naive, sha. So, you truly believe that Buhari and his fulani cabal will just allow the likes of Peter Obi to reside in aso rock? These fulani marauders are not joking with the rest of us. They would rather burn down the whole flippin' country than cut off their umbilical cord to our sovereign wealth. We live in interesting times (in Nigeria) and the nxt few weeks will stay indelible in the history of this country. |
