And I have a brother suffering from cancer, who needs chemotherapy with this scammed money... It is well. hmmmm. Kindly report to all relevant authorities. I'm sure you will get him arrested. Note: do not pay any individual on nairaland to facilitate his arrest. You may get scammed twice. Pursue the case yourself and you will get him. Also, supply us all his details to enlist him on the scammers list |

ANGELINAX: I contacted a pretty popular and trusted exchanger here, notifying him that I wanted selling 200 euro worth of PayPal funds to him. His account was having problems, so he told me to send the money to another person he knows, that the guy will pay me. I did just that... Since day before yesterday. I had a very critical emergency this morning and requested for my funds, I've been messaging him since morning, but he's not saying anything meaningful concerning my £££... The funds are in his PayPal account, and has been cleared, and he's not responding .. 08122143006

Pixeldesign: It is unfortunate you decided to take this medium.
My side of the story: Yeah, we agreed on 12k after much pleading and I did his job and launched it as agreed. But as with web design sometimes, codes error do happen (after spending more than 64hrs on a 12k website that you believed you did so well and all of a sudden it goes caboom, any website designer would understand how that can feel)
I am a pro at what I do, and 12k for a full fledge website ( more than 10page as against the 3 page you claim)... It gets a bit tricky to pass a project worth 200k and continue to spend time on a 12k.
See his website: http://mobilepaded.com (and observe the extent of design job that is happening, and see what 12k is being paid for)... Your website will be ready soonest.
With all due respect, your Calling only serves as a distraction to me.

Tabbaz: Many people have reacted to this post and I've learnt a lot from the responses as well.
Members view are summarised as follow:
1. That we should remove his details without penalty to encourage other thieves to repent
2. That he should pay more than what he scammed because the money would have yielded if it's invested
3. That we should never remove any name in that list to maintain its integrity
From what I've learnt here regarding this issue, I want to suggest that we should have something similar to amnesty in which we welcome back people that were once a scammer so far they can pay back all their victims and make a promise never to engage in such crime again.
I know it's difficult for a thief to repent but I don't believe it's impossible.
However, if this proposal of mine is accepted, then I want to suggest also that anyone that scammed again after the removal of his details shall never have another chance from us. His details shall be written in CAPITAL LETTER and tagged unrepentant scammer.
members and moderators what do you see to this?
cc dominique mynd44 puskin seun So far, more people are against forgiven the guy because he only paid back due to his fiancee reaction.
Although, I never promised him the details would be removed after refund, but he still believe he has a chance than not paying. So, for now his details shall remain in the list. P. S.: this decision is subjected to review. Also, I still believe in amnesty and would like to plead to the thieves on the list to come out and pay back their victims before something push them out. If you come out willingly, you have a higher chance of being forgiven. |

So, recently his wife to be saw his account details on the scammers list and questioned him about it. Due to this, he contacted me and I asked him how his details got here which he explained. He asked me to promise to remove the details once he paid his victim but I made no such commitment. I asked him to return what he stole without giving us condition.
To cut the story short, he has returned the money and I asked him to make his request openly on nairaland as I have no such power to remove the details of someone that deliberately scammed. The decision of the members of this forum will determine his fate.

this new dream guy claiming innocent Today had an issue with someone when he collected the persons money then ignored the person who sent him money and later blocked him on what's app. When he now saw his details online after he had been reported he then refunded the victim and he started calling me and the victim to come and put a disclaimer saying he was busy which was why he did not pay the guy. As you can see after they contacted me with his joke of an excuse....I removed his details but another suspect had already come and quoted my post. I advised him to contact Dominique or the suspect in order to remove the suspects post....he did not instead he came up with a contrived story and you are just making look as if he has no issue. Now even other crooks will look at your post and use it as a means to start hiding behind it. Does his original offence look like what you yourself would give as an excuse for seizing someone's money and blocking them

I had to go thru the person's post and even saw noticed the person that made a complain about that post has edited it saying the person that wanted to scam him has refunded him. I will write an epistle on this as promised
Cc Mariesio Modath Mynd44 Dominique Puskin So I was invited to mediate on a case between funlord and DrSlimtommy regarding an offshore dispute. I was surprised when the seller (DrSlimtommy) made it clear that he told funlord at the beginning of the trade that the money is not clean ( that the money is yahoo yahoo proceed) and funlord agreed to buy it nevertheless (because it is cheap I suppose). If this is not a crime, I wonder what else to term it. So, as an ambassador of truth, I see this as a crime against humanity and hereby wish to discourage this type of trade on this forum. Dominique, mynd44, puskin, remember I once moved a motion that the trading of gift cards should be banned on nairaland. But as expected, people that benefits from this trade will definitely go against it banning. It's like taking away their food from the table.
Now, since we all know that both the sellers and buyers of gift cards know that the card is not genuinely sourced(abi who will buy a card at 360 and sell at 250 average?). may I suggest this, please.
I think we should not meditate on any trade that has to do with gift cards. Both sellers and buyers should sort themselves outside the forum
I so submit.
P.S. If anyone would like to go against this suggestion, kindly come up with a genuine reason backed with fact and figure |
