I don't know about other Helicopters companies that are still running, but I know the state government have been granting waivers to certain companies but there are guidelines, I don't know if Caverton informed the state government about the flight. It doesn't make sense that the state boarders are closed and someone can come in unchecked through air.
The owner's of Caverton should do the needful, since there are closer to FG, give Rivers State its own share of the Covid fund, and also pay the poor citizens of rivers state the 20k as it is obtained in Kastina and Jigawa states.

In my opinion this wrong. We have the 16 years cap for university, I think Js1 should be capped at 10 years, the world is changing, Nigeria for an instance has changed. It is becoming very difficult for families with only one parents working to provide their basic needs.
Minimum decent rent in Nigerian top five cities is 400k to 500k while average salary is around 150k. If you include school fees, feeding and clothing, you will have an idea the burden that modern Nigerian parents have face to make ends meet. The whole buhaha boils down to a system failure, government can not go about enacting policies like this, because this is only a measure to address a symptom while living the root cause unattended.
Improve the quality of education in our public schools to march or surpass the private ones this will invaribly drop the price of the private schools.
Provide good infrastructure and power, this will drive development of more industries that will create more jobs, all these will drop the pressure from our parent.

One of the things I've learnt over time while working, is to be one step ahead.

I once worked in a company where my line manager was a compete nut head. I saw the handwriting on the wall that I needed to leave. I fired up my cv ASAP and got an offer (way better offer than I was paid) and dropped my resignation letter. My line manager was shocked...I knew he would have fired me, or atleast recommended my sack, if I didn't take that drastic step of been 1 step ahead. Soon after I left, 2 other devs, were fired.

Everywhere I have worked in my short career, I've always tried to read moves, anticipate actions and moves, position myself in a way, no one will take me by surprise.

I learnt this on my first real job. I was doing so well by all standards, a bachelor who thinks more of his job and how to improve than any other thing in life, I was blind sided.
I was fired and I felt really bad for i taught i was one of the best in my game. I got another job 6 months later, but this time with a different mindset. I am always staying ahead, I make it my duty to know who is hiring in my field, where my present company is heading, my usefulness, marketability on the job market and sharpening my exit strategy.

In Nigeria where there is limited option on occupation or source of income, this video is bound to happen. We can shout to high heavens but the truth is that people are hungry and will kill and eat anything to survive.

I don't trust CNN anymore, Amapour and Aisha (before she retired) bashed the former government and suddenly lost their focus on reporting the ills going on in Nigeria. I don't support Trump's action, but CNN sounding so concerned over our situation is turn off for me.
CNN should continue their well known Anti Trump reports and leave us alone to lick our wounds in peace.

Yes.. the country was a major oil producer... state owned pretty much... huge reserves... but... historically non oil producing neighbouring Guyana has become El Dorado again... this time with oil discovery... one of the largest reserves in the world... and of a superior grade. They are about to begin exporting. ExxonMobil the extractor..fully backed by the US... so we can guess the future of Venezuela... which was a giant of South America. And... we would also feel the effects as Exxon begin to s ale down operations in Nigeria and elsewhere.

The earlier we read and adjust to these warning signs the better for us. Investment in Oil from the big majors are dwindling and still we have no future plans for the economy except oil money.

Someone tell me I am dreaming.
