Anytime and day you don't understand what a word, a phrase or an expression means, ask questions. "acts. Of God" do connote performances of God, it means a natural and unexpected catastrophe that interrupts a course of event,changing the expected outcome from good to evil.

I really wonder where those haters of 'the most loved Nigerian President' (as agreed to in one Thread earlier today), our beloved President GEJ and his Party, The PDP are. I've only spotted a negligible few of them here who make it their stock in trade to spew evil about GEJ and his party, fanning the embers of disunity vis-à-vis supporting dissident and rebellious members.
And even on this Thread , they have blindly refused to admit the obvious.
Those that are more knowledgeable and vested with the Nigerian politics and parliamentary leadership issues on this forum have educated them that but for President GEJ's calmness and peace-loving nature, Tambuwal ousting is a fait äccompli.
But they won't listen.
Ok now, let's watch!

instead of verbatim? There is no way she didn't express pity and condolences to the affected and bereaved. And again, there is month way too she did not make any policy statements as regards her commitment towards fixing things. Give us the full text. End this bias!
Finally, ask doctors of law what it means when an incident is referred to as an\the 'act of God'.

You are right, but not completely, (maybe it's b'cos U're not Aki).
Where I differ with you is that they should call off the strike, sit down with the Fed. Govt. and draft a realizable work plan for a considerable time frame, say 5 - 10 years for all the issues raised, and even more, to be addressed. But very importantly, a periodic review and assessment of action and progress. This one can be taking place either annually or bi-annually, would equally be an integral part of the plan.
