Take it or leave it, from time immemorial, oppositions always thrive in propagander and media, with no substance, weight or followership. That Abuja election, was it rigged? Grow up all infantry opposition sychophants! |
skyp: Nigerians don't be deceived, the money being allocated to different projects right nöw take it from me that larger part of the money is met to finance 2015 election because by the commencement of 2014 all the money will be diverted to election campaign thereby abandoning the most essential on going project. It's Construction of rail ways, not ROAD gradding. |
ayox2003: Ha! 500billion is not enough, 700billion is not enough. A whole 1.6 trillion!!!Let me use this time to state emphatically that you guys that are calling Mr. President names are doing yourselves, Nigerians and our children, yet unborn more harm than good. Ignorant of this fact is never an excuse. The earlier all of you that indulge in this act realize that President Goodluck Ebele Johnathan is (at present) in charge of the political, economic, and social wellbeing of Nigerians,by virtue of the office he occupies, and desist from calling him names which are capable of negatively imparting on his policies and programmes - because words are spirit, they create the future- the better this country will be good for us all A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE. |
Verbes: FG is trying to promote local contents. I think that is commendable.Verbes, it's not as if others who have posted different irrelevant posts on this thread do not know that the essence of the ban is to promote local content. They have made a covenant with God-knows-what to never see the positive aspect of GEJ administration. You tend to be the first and only person that have sounded sensible. It should not be so. I have said: Let me use this time to state emphatically that you guys that are calling Mr. President names are doing yourselves, Nigerians and our children, yet unborn more harm than good. Ignorant of this fact is never an excuse. The earlier all of you that indulge in this act realize that President Goodluck Ebele Johnathan is (at present) in charge of the political, economic, and social wellbeing of Nigerians,by virtue of the office he occupies, and desist from calling him names which are capable of negatively imparting on his policies and programmes - because words are spirit, they create the future- the better this country will be good for us all. Proverbs 6:2 "Thou are snared with the words of thy mouth..." (KJV). A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE. |
What ever could be injected into our clime that will have the ability to stem the tide of sin: adultery, corruption, etc, has got my blessings already. More powers to you guys elbow. |
This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Congrats. MA'AMs |
KINGwax: Wen OBJ said uncle jona sorrounds himself with the wrong set of advisers, only the blind in thinking argued! You are partially, but not completely correct. Condemning the president is tantamount to this: Let me use this time to state emphatically that you guys that are calling Mr. |
GEJ just has a good and forgiving heart. That's all ! |
GEJ just has a good and forgiving heart. That's all! |
maclatunji: This pardon is just the beginning, look out for more embarassing and shocking decisions from GEJ ahead of 2015.But he hasn't just been sworn-in! |
style$co:That is ur belief which will inturn be your lot, not another's. Spaek for yourself. "They are ensnared by the words of thier moutj" |
seanet02: Which kind of nonsense is this? This kind of comment exposes how shallow-minded, mediocre-ingrained and tribal-limited u are. GROW UP |
ypzilanti: Yeah...simple budget reassignment of First Lady's 4 billion naira allocation for fancy building will be good, don't you think? Why are you sadists, pessimists and destructive critics always this judgemental. If GEJ approves 10 projects and 9 out of the 10 are on target except one that may not be too good, has he not tried, even better than past Presidents of this country- both military and civilian? Besides, is he not human with a little degree of fallibility? You tell me, are infallible and perfect? Man, grow up and learn the art of appreciation so that your life will appreciate in value! |
ewet: THe jonathan bulldozer is on the move just sacking every body and not his incompetent self and those buffoons in his govt who gives no hope to this nation and are brainlessly enjoying our commonwealth.Aya afo tanga me awiongo so. U is not correct! |
GOOD! This is an indicator that GEJ Governmern does not aid and abate illegality. It is fighting corruption |
musiwa20: the politics math of 6 zones.Na so u sabi body reach? Yenogoa na east? |
42% are women. That is more than 35%! I'v always said that women are administratively more cohorent. I prefer in administration to men, because of thier innate nature of being humane. By 2023, i pray it then be 57% for women, 43% for men. Our society will be better for it. CONGRATULATIONS to all the awardees from Naija |
The greatest obstacle that confronts mediocre minds which they battle unsuccessfully to overcome is the PULL HIM DOWN SYNDROME! For the avoidance of doubt, Akpabio is the BEST PERFORMING governor in Nigeria. The Fashola you guys like mentioning is because many of you either resides in Lagos or visit Lagos often. Take a walk to Akwa Ibom, you will be amazed at the performance of the man. Better still, ask someone who had known Akwa Ibom some 5-10 years ago and has been to the State in the past 2-5 years to spot tje difference, the person would be availed with a thousand thing to point to. STOP USING THIS OVERFLOCKED #3.M naira gift to PULL AKPABIO DOWN. He is worth more than that, a million times! If, as it's clearly portrayed by your vituperations, that it hatred that causes all those abuses, the question is: who are you guys hating? Is it AKwa Ibom? Is it Annie? Is it Tuface? Is it Akpabio's Commissioner for information? Is it Governor Akpabio? Is it Goodluck ebele Johnathan? OR IS. IT. PDP? Make I hear word. |
Trigger Happy: It's only 20 people not 29, only one Jeep and not two........datz his defense. She is a daughter from da state and da gift is a gesture for standing beside her man in times of trials and tribulation. Is dat all Mr. Governor......... PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULD'NT PUT A HOLE IN THIS FOOOOOOL HEAD IF I GET THE CHANCE.Na u be fool, not a performer like Obong Akpabio! Useme |
Andyforte: Dear governor, with due respect, ur defense is simply annoying and makes no sense. This horrible statements which ur publicist was not ashamed to publish is an insult to us, and attempts to imply that the public is stupid and thus can be fed anything. There is no justification for the use of public funds for these kind of benevolence. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT. The blessings of our land belong to all of us and there are sons of akwa ibom alive today who cannot afford 3 square meals, a decent living space or even basic education for their children. You are very much aware of this. U know u have poor sons of the land, rightful owners of thiese blessings, who continue to suffer inadequate social amenities, underdevelopment and neglect, yet u thout it was smart to reward a faithful wife of and artiste with millions that could make a difference for many poor families? 2face is an international figure and is wealthy enough to reject ur offer, yet there are millions of others who are unknown in their local government who go hungry for days. Have u no fear of GodU are ranting absolute RUBBISH. First investigate whether the gifts were from personal pockets or public coffers! All of u guys that are ranting nonsense should do the same thing first, else i just conclude that POVERTY-MENTALITY is ur problem! |
htajz: though am a PDP member, am already in love with this party , dont mind supporting them sef they are the true opposition to my party at least we will be sure if we loose one day we will be loosing to fresh stock of nigerians and not wasted politicians, coup plotters, religious extremist, political prostitutes and ethnic warlords. |

Ur adjectives for them are concise, precise, and befitting of the apc GONNERS! I'll be like you when I grow up. |
Hushhhhhhh My oga at the top has spoken, there is nothing again under the sun that can hold African People's Congress back. Our victory in the next general election in a fait accompli |
vigasimple: Under the law, this above post is the most sensible post on this thread. For lay people, when you register a company or tradename or trademark or patent by submitting all necessary paperwork, it does not matter what the other 'bigwig' intentded doing. The guy who registered APC is the proper APC and Bhuari, Tinubu and co are just not as smart as they think. My brother, your post is equally very sensible, and not just that' it is objective, devoid of prejudice and very matter-of-factly. Only that some peeps are just anti-truth. However, someone may sympathise with them on the grounds that an adage in my place says if a man calls his house scattered, the gods will set fire on such a house to support the owner's view of the house, and stay back to bask in the ruins. They cant help but support, by all means and at all cost, thier imaginary and utopian APC, even when it is obvious that a smarter group of persons has approached INEC to express thier intention and readiness to be known, called and address as APC(as acronym). May i most graciously say to them, ACCEPT MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES. |
Most of you that are calling Jega, INEC and PDP names have failed to take into consideration the principle of Objectivism in Journalism. You have not heard from all the parties concerned but you have already drawn hasty conclusions. For you doubting Thomases, until you hear from both parties, IT IS YELLOEW JOURNALISM Make it a life objetive to be as objective as you can in your submissions on this site. It's only an advice, though! |
WAY FORWARD cum SOLUTION: A State of Emergency should be declared on that sector; The oil wells should be retrieved from all thier present Care-Takers; They should be re-allocated in an order and manner that will correct the prevailing imbalance, but this time not to individuals but to Local Govt. Areas as licensed owners; Therefore, about 40% should be shared to LGAs in the South South; 20% to South East LGAs; 15% to South West LGAs; 10% to Noth Central LGAs; 10% to North West LGAs; 5% to North East LGAs. LGAs will now be the custodians of the Oil Wells and do what ever they want with it for the development of thier areas. They can sublet it to any Oil Company and collect commisions. We are told that present oil well owners make millions of dolls on daily basis! My country men and women, is that not relatively enough for our communities to develop in a shortwhile? Even if it does not go round one per LGA, but at least 1 oil well for two or 3 LGA. I rest my submission. |
I have told all my friends who are fanatic about supporting one club or the other that it is not a worthy venture, at all, even at its highest peak of consideration. The extreme love for football is the root of all divisions, hatred and deaths in the twenty-first century. Old boys\girls, young boys\girls, put a knife to the neck of extreme fanatism of soccer and cut its head off. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! |
I must say that Gov Akpabio has a very high taste affinity. The MACHINE is clearly exotic. Let me also add that Sahara Reporters news MUST NOT be taken-in hook, line and sinker. Beway! |
GEJ is balless; Gej is this; Gej is that... U guys aint seen nothing yet. Between now and 2015, more decisions and hard stands that will proove to all doubting thomases and critics that our president has GUTS would be taken. Watch out! |
My People, I am one of those who believes that Jonathan is on the right track in many areas of National development although his nature does not command respect nor inspires one as a Leader should. But honestly this pardoning of Alamesieya is a very wrong move. I know that Alams is his former boss and all those crap, but if GEJ takes fighting corruption even a bit seriously he will not commit this grave error of judgement. There is no justification for this irresponsible decision. I have always said that fighting corruption headlong is Jonathans weakest link and If its true that a chain is as strong as its weakest link then GEJ should realy buckle up and fight corruption headlong. I do not criticise for the sake of it. A father can take a wrong decision (once in a while, not all the time), but He still remains your father and you will still respect him and not resort to calling him names. Let us condemn this counter-productive, ill-advised decision of Jonathan in the strongest possible terms. But let us not resort to name calling. Mr President has made a serious mistake in this. In short by this singular act, he has aborted the fight against corruption (that is if there was any fight against corruption since Yaradua and later GEJ took over). This is one silly mistake. But does this singular act make Mr Jonathan unelectable come 2015, The answer is simply no. If Jonathan gets it right in Railways (affirmative), if GEJ gets it right on Electoral reforms (affirmative) If GEJ gets it right on building more Universities and funding existing ones (affirmative), If GEJ gets it right in improving our Power generation and distribution (affirmative),If GEJ gets it right on Agriculture (affirmative) and if GEJ gets it right on the second Niger Bridge (I hope affirmative soon) amongst other things etc; Then even if GEJ scores below average on fighting corruption (Affirmative because he is already scoring far far below average), He will still have more positives than negatives to brandish as his score card to merit him getting a second term. I just pray and Urge our president to please stop punching corruption with Kid gloves. Grow some serious balls and fight this scourge so that it will not bury Nigeria one day.[/quote GEJ is balless; Gej is this; Gej is that... U guys aint seen nothing yet.
