Ayekotoo: I don't know why you take igbos serious in this country. Igbos are known to be comedians. Anambra state currently can't stand Osun in Nigeria not to talk of Ogun and Oyo.
Yorubas run the Nigerian economy while Igbos are into trades.

i take everyone seriously because there's always an opportunity to learn new things everyday from the people we come across irrespective of tribe. The op was wrong turning this into anotha SW/SE tribal e-war, it does more harm than good even if its for fun . Its also wrong for otherwise matured minds to condescend to his level like kids when reporting and getting him banned would have been a more effective option. But then again, its a free world

Cities expand which means an increase in population which invariably means more customers for businesses therefore a mall is a good business investment but i dont think it should be at the expense of a school sha, there are countless other plots of land in prime locations that could have been used instead. Lets wait and see

thats funny, even Obama is regularly criticized sometimes i think more than Gej himself but what i fine repulsive is when people start calling their president derogatory names not even fit for a slave. Even Abacha & Babangida at the height of their despotic and corruption riddled rule were never so insulted yet the funniest thing is that most people dont even know why they hate the man. Asari is from Rivers state and so he has every right to criticize his state governor with the facts he has on hand. When youre less busy, you can compare Bayelsa/Akwa Ibom or any other states that catch your fancy. Cheers. Ps next time its spelt IS and not ix. Ok

Ngwakwe: I was made to understand that Asari Dokubo is a common illiterate and a social misfit. A militant fighting literally for his own pocket.

If Asari can compile such information (irrespective of its flaws) as written in the news article of this thread, then his handlers are really doing a good job and can as well help him to be a Senator in 2015.

The meaning of illiterate, tout and other derogatory adjectives are just but temporary and ephemeral

pls sir do not listen or even take seriously those who say Asari is an illiterate. They wouldnt even be able to point him out if he stood on their heads.

he is already the premier in waiting, i saw him at the U.N headquarters yesterday discussing with Ban ki Moon over a cup of tea. His wealth of experience and satellite pictures will be invaluable to this section as a moderator. He even has a new satellite camera that can see the evil thoughts of nairalanders before they type them out hence he can ban people for thinking careless thoughts grin

However, don't you think a budget bloated just to cover so much visit (useful and useless) all in the name of working to cover the budgeted estacode is one burden among many that Nigerians are carrying?
However, they do enjoy at the expense of the impoverished masses.

estacode is a normal practice even in private companies when you might be sent outside your locale. The usefulness or otherwise of the minister's visit is comparatively relative as the visit might be useless to you but definitely useful to the Osun state govt to showcase its achievements to the generality of Nigerians and the fg who through the minister and his wide entourage of journalists highlight fg projects in Osun state that are under way and those completed helping to educate the populace about the activities/projects of govt. I dont understand what you mean by i may be in the clique but i'll let it slide just know that im not amongst those people who follow the band wagon to criticize and condemn just because everyone else is doing it.

This is a splendid idea and what i have always been advocating for in our educational system along with a reduction in tertiary period to 3yrs instead of the current 4. If the Osun state govt says the fed ministry of education has given a green light then no wahala, infact i implore the fed ministry of education to make this a mandatory policy across the country.

I dont know if the Rivers state Amaechi is talking about is different from the one where i am. Besides what were 13000 teachers doing on the road right from elekahia stadium all the way to airforce bridge area and you expect the police not to disperse such a mammoth crowd to prevent a breach of the peace ? In this modern age of the 21st century it would have been better to send e mails to successful candidates telling them when to come to the state secretariat or designated places like schools in batches to collect their appointment letters not to keep them under the hot burning sun. Amaechi pls face your job as a governor and leave Mbu alone, the police have picked up their patrol and illegal arrests are no longer rampant in Rivers state so dont lie abeg
