Italiano1: See them grin grin

If these pictures were that of Osun or Lagos, is this what you will be saying? Of course not! Now that it is closer to home, you are have become very defensive.

How any self respecting Anambra indigene is able to condone the lack of development and disgraceful state of the infrastructures is simply beyond me. That place is a dump and you should hold OBI to account for his gross failure as an administrator instead of taking issues up with the OP- Shame no dey una body.

Tua!
but he just said the op is lying and gave his reasons/proof. Why must he accept the op's point of view when the pictures according to him are obviously old. It is for those on ground in Anambra to tell us if the op is right or wrong rather than we taking up a fight we know absolutely nothing about. Ok
PoliticsRe: ‘Wike, A Riff Raff, Who’s Not Fit To Be Education Minister’ – Gov. Babangida Ali by talktimi(m): 7:02pm On Sep 19, 2013
Its a very pathetic situation the herd mentality being demonstrated by our so called progressives, when they hear jump, they ask how high and keep jumping. Now we have a funny situation where a supposedly intelligent nairalander claims that Wike is barely literate, is this what hatred for a person has turned otherwise logical human into ? Pls i would implore you guys to ask any lawyer you know what it means to graduate from the Nigerian law school whether na beans. The riff raff comment is funny sha but i still advice everybody not to put mouth or take seriously the quarrels of the elite because they know where they meet at the end of the day and banter over bottles of champagne. Ok

feelamong: Nna.. na only palmy and stout you dey shack?

thats why i say things that we call problems in this country continue to baffle me. What is so difficult in the said ministry state or federal having its own website where such forms can be downloaded from or even filled and submitted online ? We are not in the 1930s for crying out loud. Anyways thanks for the gizzard although the dentist for that Amaechi dental hospital butcher my mouth last wk but my long throat no go allow me pass this one by grin

PoliticsRe: The Anambra Chino doesn't want you to see after Obi's 8 years by talktimi(m):
I believe Chris Ngige is the best governor Anambra has ever had, we are all witnesses to the developmental strides witnessed during his shortlived reign BUT there is an argument which states that he only "worked" so as to garner the peoples support while he fought with his godfathers. Will Ngige win the governorship election this year ? I dont know and i cant even predict although i know that Anambra people on ground in the state love him very well, this election is going to be between the Labour party and the APC and whichever candidate wins will do very well for ndi Anambra.
PoliticsRe: Politics Chat Room - "The Beer Parlour" by talktimi(m): 2:23pm On Sep 19, 2013
Can someone pls tell me why our government with emphasis on the state govs find it difficult to tackle Nigerias housing problems ? Bear in mind that there are lots of local/ foreign banks and private investors that are willing to partner with any serious government to solve this issue so the question is WHY DOES THIS WAHALA STILL PERSIST ?
PoliticsRe: Progress Report On Uyo Main Airport Terminal Building( PIC) by talktimi(m): 2:02pm On Sep 19, 2013
Going through various threads here on nairaland involving gov Akpabio, its obvious to me (though i may be wrong) that the main reason people doubt the positive achievements of this man is because he's not a member of the APC.
PoliticsRe: Warning Lagos Megacity Is Not For The Poor by talktimi(m): 1:50pm On Sep 19, 2013
[quote author=amarilo]But not bringing those that collected the approval fee to justice smacks of injustice and that will not hinder others from doing it again. And that previous govt looks like a PDP govt or am I wrong? [/quote you see we should stop deluding ourselves in this country, granted this thread is specifically about Lagos state but the underlying problem cuts across all strata of the society/country and that is we have a massively inadequate if not non existent social security/welfare scheme in this country not withstanding the fact that Nigeria is rich enough to implement such schemes. As a government, you do not wait until a violent revolution before you do what is right. It all starts with a proper and credible national census and eureka the ball will be in motion to make the masses happy. Ive been through many states in this country and it baffles me that a simple thing like adequate housing poses a problem more complex than nuclear physics and further maths combined for our elected officials. God bless Nigeria

solopumpy227: I am not sure of the vercaity of this https://www.nairaland.com/1440512/ogun-poorest-state-southern-nigeria though.
My point is (in my books) Ogun state Govt has performed much better that the FG....
pls not to derail this thread but the size of Ogun state compared to Nigeria apart, do you have any empirical evidence to prove that the fg has performed poorly ? Bear in mind that there are 37 (ie + Abuja) units all together in Nigeria and you will have to have gone round all the units inspecting federal projects and their level of completion/implementation against the budgetary allocation released for each particular project. This is much easier to do in Ogun where i believe you reside in (?) PS Ogun can never be the poorest state in Nigeria, there are too many industries there for it to be poor except the statisticians are trying to be mischievous or the state govt officials dont have a clue what they are doing there which is impossible if i daresay.

jmaine: Very sad scoundrels . . .
if dem no like the road, they can as well look for alternative bush paths when travelling. As for me i will applaud progress anywhere i see it because im not sad like some so called progressives
PoliticsRe: Lagos-ibadan Express Road Work In Progress by talktimi(m): 3:20pm On Sep 16, 2013
bloggernaija: Why clap for a mediocre president with a backward attitude /approach to problem solving

That road should be a super highway of at least 5 lanes on either side.
A dedicated high speed rail all the way to Ibadan
Light rail from mowe to Berger
Dedicated service done or what you call rest stops else.

Within 4 yrs, that road will pafuka again and mr president would have to take his begging bowl to china again
Dundee utd must always be sad CHAI very soon una gang members go credit this project & its future completion to some dead presidents. Smh for sad sad "progressives"
PoliticsRe: Imo To Invite EFCC,Others Over Defaulting Contractors by talktimi(m): 12:09pm On Sep 16, 2013
This is a very good development if implemented otherwise the governor could be called a crook. All contractors who have received substantial sums without corresponding progress should be arrested if possible their immediate family members too. People should not suffer because daboy contractors refused to work after being paid. Ok
PoliticsRe: Asiwaju Tinubu Down With Parkinson Disease - Paparazzi Press by talktimi(m): 11:33am On Sep 16, 2013
The official statement by his camp is that Tinubu went for a knee surgery in America which will entail if i may say so rigorous physiotherapy sessions. Please lets leave this man to rest and recuperate instead of praying for a worse illness or even death as some people are doing here. Remember we and our loved ones are all human and it might be your turn tomorrow. Ok

Someone disagreeing doesn't mean they are stupid
please leave Ajigijaga alone, he has to justify his pay. At the same time lets congratulate this woman (?) for her doggedness in business & bringing Chinese investors into this country. God bless Nigeria

See as Amaechi face rotten like say him wan cry for background. cheesy.
kiakiakiakiakiakia grin Our in house progressives cleverly refused to see the part where Babangida Aliyu READ the hand written statement... Smh, i daresay the APC really needs this split to occur in the PDP so as to recruit a presidential candidate as they always seem to lack "credible & marketable" individuals in that party
PoliticsRe: Multi-billion Naira Meter Assembly Plant To Be Set Up In Lagos. by talktimi(m):
Gbawe: It wil never make sense to you because you do not have the requisite intellect to note what matters. I can't point out the obvious to you pathetic olodos. If you supported genuinely talented leaders who actually deserved to be called such, and not a corrupt and accidental stooge created by the aberrance of Nigeria, then you would see what is crystal clear.
you keep ranting, huffing and puffing. Talking so much yet saying nothing. Why are you always so sad and why is any one who doesnt share the same opinion with you either an "olodo" as you call me or a demon/devil or other such descriptions ? As it stands now via your antecedents on nairaland, youre a bad sales man and you really need to learn how to advertise your products properly instead of insulting potential customers at every given chance. Ok boy ? PS I know a lot of people here in Lagos that will jump at the opportunity to work at this factory, at least be happy for those ones.
PoliticsRe: Multi-billion Naira Meter Assembly Plant To Be Set Up In Lagos. by talktimi(m): 5:41am On Sep 16, 2013
Gbawe: Sad bunch of people. When the President you all support clannishly is corruption and mediocrity personified, with not much genuine achievements to his name, why will you mumus not be here dancing azonto? Clever Nairalanders and Lagosians will get the 'gist' because I do not have to point out the obvious to them that GEJ fans, always 'thick' by nature, can never discern. cool cool
Please read this your post very well then pretend it makes sense in correlation to the topic at hand. Abeg

drnoel: U people should read in between lines before commenting. The new says first quarter of 2013 which has passed. Why is the meter company not setup yet.
dude, you should pls read between the lines before commenting. The article was published Sept 13 2013 so you should deduce that the 1st quarter of 2013 issue is a typo. Anyway we should all be happy for Gbawe maybe he will finally get a job & a life with this factory coming on board in Lagos grin
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s First Lady, Vice President Behind The Enugu Disco Sale Fiasco by talktimi(m): 12:32am On Sep 16, 2013
PLEASE O, MAKE UNA USE UNA CHURCH MIND JUDGE THIS CASE. Gbawe said Gej supporters aka PDP people (minus me since I've never had time to vote for anybody) are the most "clannish, the most foul mouthed and the most uncouth people" on nairaland as a forum. Pls lets go through the last 20 threads on the politics section of this forum and see who is really guilty of Ajigijaga's allegations...
CrimeRe: Typical ingenuity Of Average SW Nigerian Youths by talktimi(m): 12:23am On Sep 16, 2013
@op the heading for this thread is blatantly unfair, please re title it because this was not what i and other Nigerians saw in todays Vanguard newspapers. You cant say because some SE's are involved in ritual murders therefore all south easterners are ritualists or an American uses cocaine openly therefore all Americans are drug addicts. Your stereotyping has no logical foundation and therefore will make people not to take you as a serious minded human being since we all know that crime exists all over the world. Pls be advised, you are more than this... Ok

PoliticsRe: Why Did The 7 Governors Not Defect Totally From PDP? by talktimi(m): 2:02pm On Sep 15, 2013
They will have to drop their offices if they should join another party so the best thing is to form another faction of the PDP so as to stay within the ambits of the law even though their minds are no longer with the party
