Im talktimi or just plain Timmy, born bred & buttered in aguda surulere Lagos. I dont have any party affiliations but like/support good governance even if its from a military dictatorship. I dont smoke but a bottle of Jack Daniels is my good friend, other times i prefer Legend stout with goat meat. Hallos people |
Lets all be realistic here, if we were president of Nigeria or any other country we wouldn't drop power just because a group of rebels say or want us to do so, left to me, Assad should be given a soft landing by the international community led by HIS allies ie forfeit power, go on exile to any friendly country & forget Syria for a decade. The U.S & Russia would clean up any mess afterwards, i just dont support any military action whatsoever |
agbameta: And the federal government dictates curriculum and teaching methods in elementary school right?ranting on nairaland will not change what will happen, ive spoken my opinion with logic which holds water like a basin at the best and worst of days while you cant punch me in the face even if you wished for it and im standing in front of you. |
agbameta: I was expecting an answer, not you playing dumb.smh... Please figure out who sets and regulates the policies & curricular of all educational institutions in Nigeria. If the ministry should agree then fine if not on to the next policy. I have always been an advocate of regional integration but policies must be enforced in a legal way. Ok |
agbameta: Who are they and of what relevance is this to the topic?you honestly didnt ask this question, even if you did i will pretend you didnt... |
bigass: your are pathetic, travel to southern Africa and India you will no that we are lost souls when it comes to lnguageyoure obviously the pathetic soul here. If you decided to reason a bit, you would realize that i made valid legal points. If you have your own opinion to counter mine or any other here then state it. Without writing an epistle here its clear from my post that the moment we made english our official language in this country, such efforts by our amiable governors will meet constitutional brick walls except the SW has secceded from Nigeria without my notice. Like i said, lets hear what the ministry of education has to say about this first. |
Lagosbabe1: lolyour friendly advice & observations were laced with poison you know that. The ministry of aviation utilized its funds and it still baffles me what your problem is with that unlike previous regimes when such funds were spirited away to private coffers. You cant say because an area is sparsely populated therefore you wont construct roads there knowing fully well that through population explosion, cities expand eg Lagos & Ogun are virtually one and the same state now as many people live in ogun but work in Lagos. The ethiopian airlines full booking is an advertisement for other airlines to open desks at the airport and once again it will be much easier for people around the Enugu hub to utilize this airport instead of going all the way to Lagos or ph to catch a flight. Once again if you hope to be taken seriously in a matured conversation, pls avoid wrongful stereotyping of peoples. The ignorance and paranoia you talk about on my part dont exist except you're the one suffering from it since you obviously dont travel round this country a lot or conduct emperical research. |
Just when people were busy laughing at the education system in the SE for teaching in igbo... Smh, lets just hear what the ministry of education has to say about this first since english is still our official language. My own opinion is the mother tongue should be left to parents to teach. |
Lagosbabe1: That is the problem with you people. You are very reactionary, defensive and paranoid; every constructive criticism or friendly advise is met with recriminations and abuse."you people" ? Your bigotry stinks to high heavens indeed. You never offered any constructive criticism or offered any friendly advice. You pointedly labelled an entire ethnic group as semi illiterate drug peddlars without any empirical evidence whatsoever of which such evidence doesnt even exist. From the hundreds of people caught every year at the MMIA, how adversely has it affected its operations ? I dont see that airport closing down anytime soon but rather its facing a 25% increase in arrival hall size not that im advocating anybody to be involved in drug trafficking but your hateful stereotyping of an entire ethnic nationality is just what it is... If the primary beneficiaries of the facility are very happy with its presence i dont see what your beef is and you cant force feed people to accept your postulations about the airport being non viable when the primary users say otherwise. It can only grow with time maybe not as busy as the MMIA but busy enough so take a chill pill. Ok |
Lagosbabe1: I marvel at the reasoning of some of the posters here. So you are declaring Enugu International Airport a success after a few days of operations? Is this what they teach in accounting and economics classes in the SE? I would have imagined that the viability and success of the airport as a business venture will be determined by the traffic performance in the medium -long term i.e, 5-20 yearsyour prejudiced and bigoted article is pathetically interesting. You seem to have the wrong motion that im from the SE which im not and also that this might be the first airport im going to be coming across neither am i even based there. Im just a person who is happy whenever those in government do their jobs and fulfill promises. Its quite unfortunate that someone seemingly as intelligent as you are can view an entire ethnic group as poorly educated, poverty stricken drug barons. Thats an unfortunate thing for you to imply and in fact, simply a despicable act. Im not going to argue economics with you as obviously the only reason you bring it up is to be mischievous by half since you conveniently forgot that there are major commercial cities in the SE that will greatly appreciate & utilize this airport and also the coming sea port at ibaka reducing the cost of haulage from Lagos to these cities. Pls always endeavor to argue with empirical facts next time, if you havent studied a terrain dont pass business judgement on it. Ok |
lygn19: That's just what all dz ijaw idiots say when they want anoda amnesty... I like Jonathan as a president, but with threats like dz, and also with d fact that its coming from an ijaw(empty drum) I hope he looses, let's see if war is by bombing pipelines...alhaji umar nuhu from the north east a niger delta man ? I didnt know the niger delta was in the north east except your education is obviously defective |
And they really tried convincing us that this airport will not be profitable... Smh, same they've said about the coming ibaka deep sea port & i wonder how that will be possible |
Symphony007: always a pleasure talking to you, buddy!the pleasure is all mine ![]() |
Youre joking right ? |
Symphony007: It's always good news when buisness make money and grow in our country so i find it encouraging that despite the substandard state of the airport, it still has a willing amount of users, which makes me imagine the possibilities if the airport was better.nna gerraway you. Youre just too sad to be in a civilized society |
Symphony007: so if they can't find any private partner, the project goes bust? Or the partners pull out along the way.Have'nt anything been learnt from ameachi's rivers problem?sadness is really a disease |
t-something:their attitude proves the saying that common sense is really not common, if we use their mentality then in a place like Lagos for example, Fashola shouldn't be congratulated for anything since Tinubu laid all the ground work. In fact Fashola has been reaping where he didnt sow by collecting all these praises and commendations for long. Anuofia progressives |
The tone of bad belles remains constant, all credits of achievements accruable to GEJ must be transfered to dead Nigerian presidents. |
Dopestfiend: ask the werey wey be your president.same ol' s#it dog, the werey is also your president so cry me a river & go back to your lane while at it |
But honestly speaking why should the senate president or indeed anybody in the house of assembly be on a pension ? Thats simply ridiculous i say. In fact they should all have a 70% slash monthly in their take home pay like the Kenyans since as far as i know this is a part time job. Lets free the cash for other more important things in this country. |
Dopestfiend: Ops is high on excess gum sniffing.shebi you know your lane ? |
GEJ all the way, bad belle people should continue wallowing in their self inflicted pains |
You people shouldn't kill me with envy o, even my mechanic told me to avoid bmw's but how can i forget that driving experience ? |
Symphony007: thank you my dear. Our journey here was smooth.seems you're suffering from guilty conscience since i no call person name anyways enjoy your stay here its all fun |
taharqa:some people just baffle me with their degree of camouflaged stupid1ty |
How can you give someone an appointment without first consulting him ? Silly people sha but by the way isnt there any "credible" person in APC Imo state chapter to share the money ? |
Bad belle people are here already una welcome o |
I bet you their holy cries would have been different had he "campaigned" for APC |
No mind those confused semi donkeys. Ok |
All this because Afam is not a bigot. Chai cry cry babies, meanwhlie you have deployed all your alternate accounts for your smear campaign. Kelebe dey smell |
