wonders shall never end Mbadinuju that was so corrupt that even the corrupt PDP were ashamed and refused to give him a second term ticket. Here he is a proud APC "chieftain" . Ndi Anambra will never forget the mess he put them through and he easily ranks as the worst governor either military or civilian that Anambra has ever had. APC is in good company |
So Gej has finally turned to the victim on this case ? Mama Taraba Dalung Oby Ezekwesili and some other names which will be updated are backbones of the BBOG campaign and I guess they're PDP members abi ? We were all laughing hysterically when PEJ was crying like a shepo "diar is God o" exactly on this same issue forgetting the main reason why she cried i.e. the "facts" given by the state authorities weren't adding up making all those who were genuinely interested in the case to have doubts and even till today I still maintain that particular abduction didn't take place. Op use your tongue to count your teeth and be honest with yourself, who has been the main beneficiaries of the BBOG campaign ? Isn't it an open secret that the BBOG campaign was/is sponsored by the APC ? Now Aisha Yesufu has called out Buhari for acting coldly towards the "parents" even they met at Aso rock, the monster can no longer be controlled so you have gone to the default APC buffoonery of blaming GEJ for even something that adversely affected his reelection chances ? Give yourself brain |
Blackface wey I know would have taken wizkid to court long ago if he had a case just like he did 2face and PSquare so I don't believe this trash except he wants to see what a champagne bottle feels like on the head ![]() |
Ademola Olonilua and Eric Dumo Veteran dancehall act and a former member of the defunct Afro-pop singing trio, Plantashun Boyz, Ahmedu Augustine, widely known as Blackface, has called on fellow musician, Wizkid, to “stop stealing” his songs. Blackface who spoke exclusively to Saturday Beats earlier in the week, said the young hip-hop artiste had been copying many of his songs for a long time but he decided to keep quiet just to let peace reign. The Benue State-born raga performer however said he decided to speak out now because he could no longer sit and watch someone else take the glory for his efforts. The latest controversy follows the release of a new song by Blackface titled Killa where he was believed to have taken a swipe on Wizkid for allegedly copying many of his songs especially two tracks from his Dancehall Business album released in 2010. “I never really wanted to talk about it all this while but after people started checking out my new song, Killa, many felt Blackface sounded like Wizkid, which I didn’t like. “If you check properly, you would realise that Wizkid’s hit, Ojuelegba, sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010. You need to listen to that album to know what I am talking about. The song is so similar that I think it shouldn’t be that way. “Well, in Killa, I sang that “they tried to copy my melody,” and the bloggers got a hint of the gist and put their reports out. What I said is the truth and I am going to get to the root of this matter because I deserve justice. “The Ojuelegba song has made so much revenue for Wizkid. I am not bothered about that but I want the industry to be in a position whereby people will understand that some of the artistes and the songs they are cheering is someone else’s efforts, especially fellow artistes that they are doing everything to bring down. All they are doing is to bring down Blackface and to say that he is not relevant in the industry. Some people are bent on killing my legacy. I believe there is definitely a gang-up against me in the industry and this has been going on for a long time,” he said. Asked if he had taken on Wizkid personally on the matter, the dancehall artiste said he did his best in that regard but that the response from the Star Boy act shocked him. To get justice on this issue, Blackface disclosed to Saturday Beats that he could seek legal redress if Wizkid or others do not refrain from stealing his intellectual properties. “There was a time Wizkid followed me on twitter and I told him that I don’t want him taking my songs and that if he wants to do any of my rhythm, he should let me know. I told him that because I was just being a big brother to him. I told him that our songs can’t be sounding so similar and that if he wants anything, he should let me know. But after some time, he ‘unfollowed’ me and it was shortly after then that the Ojuelegba song was released. I don’t have any problem with Wizkid or any other person, all I am saying is that they shouldn’t be tampering with my songs because those are my properties. “Wizkid and I do different kinds of music and he doesn’t have my type of skill. I don’t have a problem with that. I am only bothered when somebody takes my song and tries to turn it around into theirs without giving me due credit,” he said. Efforts to reach Wizkid to react to Blackface’s claims proved abortive as his phone numbers were switched off. His manager, Sunday Are, couldn’t be reached as his line was switched off as well. Wizkid has been in the news lately for a similar allegation. Hypertek Music artiste, Dammy Krane, also recently accused him of stealing one of his songs. The controversy degenerated into a physical fracas with Wizkid reported to have thrown a glass cup at Krane which injured him during a night out at a club in Lagos. The two are believed to have since mended fence. http://www.punchng.com/wizkid-has-been-stealing-my-songs-for-long-blackface/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter |

Doesn’t the saying go; “Only 3 types of people tell the truth – kids, drunk people, and angry people.” Well, one third-grader penned an honest open letter to American voters about the consequences of voting for Trump and it has gone viral. Hit the jump for more. ARiiE:Twitter | Instagram In an assignment titled “I Have A Dream 2016” an anonymous third grade student addressed Trump’s deportation plan saying if Trump became president, “Asians, Africans, and Mexicans have to go back to their country. Without them the U.S.A. population would go down to 12,0000 people only.” If that wasn’t terrible enough, the student goes on to explain their concerns further adding, “Most engineers are Indian and there won’t be no technology,” adding, “Without technology there’s no Netflix. Without Netflix, there’s no chill. Is that a world you want to live in? No!” LOL, where do these kids come up with this stuff? There are some situations where I don't like to say I told you so especially if they affect me negatively too. This is one of them |
Op first of all do you know what $200 million is ? |
Princess was never funny in the first place, dunno how she entered the comedy business |
This is the end result of thinking with the anus and farting with the mouth. Well done whoever wrote this thing, you people will j just sit back in your enclaves and conjure up anything you like in the name of news. |
A somewhat old but relevant article and no pastor has been able to dispute what Mr Aribisala said here or challenge his bible quotations. I only urge my fellow Christians to forsake religiosity and focus on the spirituality of being a Christian which also goes for all other religious adherents. Live your life according to the way God wants you to live and not what your preacher says. That aside, this quote from the richest man in Babylon might interest you "a tenth of all you earn belongs to the gods" ponder over it, you believe in God be grateful for His blessings and provisions for you. |
You mean people actually believed both articles? Idíotas everywhere in this country ![]() |
if I talk now MYND44 will come with his wahala again so I'll just keep the proper description of the op's reasoning ability to myself. Mind you in 20 days of 2016, Nigeria's stock exchange lost more than 2015 altogether. I can't celebrate Gameloft since they won't have a massive impact on the labor market same way I won't celebrate the manufacturing of pencils that this govt wants us to celebrate. If Innoson can be allowed to sack 50% of its workforce due to the ineptitude of this administration then I wonder which enterprise is safe.GOD BLESS NIGERIA ARGUE WITH YOUR ANCESTORS |
sarutobie:the man would end up being a problem to himself if care is not taken but he should go ahead with his silliness it's only a matter of time the chickens will come home to roost |
If Amaechi as governor of Rivers state couldn't see or know that there were functional FG trains even right across from his abode at the government house then how will he see a thing as "tiny" as a maritime university in far away Delta state ? I don't blame him for being an idíot, I blame our Niger delta political and social leaders for taking this insult lying low. If the FG says they don't want to sponsor this project anymore, there are various ways we can use to fund it ourselves. The only thing we would have to beg the vendetta seeking sadists is for accreditation of the institution |
Nobody is afraid of paying taxes, you want the average Nigerian to make sacrifices, then let the sacrifices start from you

What if these are not "phantom problems", what if she really has relationship issues with her mom ? Lets look at the other side of the coin |
More than one year after completing their national service, indications have emerged that nine National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, injured in motor accidents during the 2014 service year, may have not received the N23.5 million donated in their aid. *NYSC members *NYSC members The money was donated to the youths under the NYSC Hope Alive initiative, a public/private sector partnership (PPP) aimed at bringing succour to corps members who suffer permanent disability during service. To one of the beneficiaries who served during the 2014 year whose injuries stopped him from attending the award ceremony, Ibeto Group donated N5 million. The then Governor Godswill Akpabio gave all the nine corps members N5 million while Heritage Bank gave the beneficiaries N1.5 million each, bringing all the donations to N23.5 million. The money was to enable them pick up the pieces of their lives after the tragedies that left them disabled. They also benefitted from automatic employment initiated by the Federal Government. The corps members are Susan Nwouku from Benue State; Alade Bukola Oluwaseun from Ekiti; Hunsu Oluwafemi from Lagos; Igheghe Ijeoma from Delta; Akinrujomi Folarin from Ondo; Nwagbara Eberechi from Rivers; Kayode Funke, Samuel Ngada and Samuel Abigail from Oyo. Two of them each had one of their arms amputated in the accidents they were involved in during the service year. The beleaguered former corps members refused to talk to Sunday Abuja Bulletin when approached on the Hope Alive initiative. And NYSC authorities could not be reached at press time on the matter. Director-General of the NYSC, Brig. Gen. Johnson Bamidele Olawunmi, had, while announcing the initiative, said it was designed “to give hope to future corps members that the scheme and indeed this great nation will not abandon those who may suffer similar fate in the course of national service”. On the nine 2014 beneficiaries, the NYSC boss said, at the 2012, 2013 and 2014 President’s NYSC Honours Award ceremony: “No Nigerian youth will be abandoned. “Such hope will be through the provision of training and start-off grant to them in their chosen skills. It is also to give hope to future corps members, that the scheme and indeed this great nation will not abandon those who may suffer similar fate in the course. “Although, government is paying N1 million as worn-off fees for such members, we don’t just want to leave it there. We want to continue to monitor such corps members. This indeed is a worthy initiative. In the past, youth corps members who sustain injuries leading to permanent disabilities during their service were subjected to post-service emotional and psychological trauma as they were neglected by the same society they were mobilised to serve. “The cash awards by the private sector partners and the offer of employment by the federal government would indeed bring succour not only to the now physically-challenged ex-corps members but also to their families who placed their hopes on them for support after their service year. “Disabling injuries can have a lot of effect on the ambition of those who are unfortunate to suffer them but the society must have enough humanitarian and humane spirit to ameliorate those effects by seeing that special provision is made for the purpose of empowering such people to still pursue their dreams and achieve their goals in life. The future of our country’s well-being is the youths and we all owe it a sacred duty to empower them to pursue their dreams.” Managing Director of Heritage Bank, Mr. Ifie Sekibo, who also spoke at the ceremony, said his bank’s gesture to the affected corps members was informed by its belief that the future well-being of the country would be better guaranteed if all well-meaning Nigerians and other stakeholders teamed up with the Federal Government to empower youths to create wealth”. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/nysc-sits-on-n23-5-million-donation-to-critically-injured-ex-corps-members/ |
hmohammed:nobody stopped the EFCC from arresting Tompolo so why are you interested in annihilating our region just because of only one man or do you want to relocate your people here ? Use the space between your ears productively |
SkyBlue1:it might be a funny question here in Nigeria but in organized societies, that's the first question they would ask. I don't doubt there are lots of Africans who are way older than those who are in record books like Guinness but our poor data keeping makes verification impossible |
samento: |
Firefire:you wan make dem sack Mugu ? |
Tompolo raised an alarm that there were plans to blow up oil pipelines then link the attacks to him and voila, 24 hrs later it happens. - Tompolo had taken the EFCC to court first of all. Whether he scammed his people or not, he has an open and shut case. The FG would have to unfreeze his accounts. - He's one of the last few powerful men in the Niger Delta and openly supports the PDP, he also had a strong hand in ensuring the APC/Sylva gang up of militants i.e. Paul Eris (Ogunboss) and Africa Owei didn't have their bloody way in the Bayelsa elections. - The only way the FG can beat this rule of law agitation currently enmeshing this administration by arresting Tompolo is to prove he breached the terms of his amnesty agreement. - Boys can very very easily be organized to hit a few pipelines in his domain/vicinity, link the attack to him and abracadabra Tompolo will be held without trial for 50 years when the govt eventually grabs him. - One on one, nobody can arrest him but when you look at the recent sadistic traits of the Nigerian govt, it might be better for Tompolo to give himself up because Buhari won't mind killing an entire community of innocent men, women and children just to get to him (remember Zakzaky & his family + almost a thousand followers ?) - This is going to be interesting ARGUE WITH YOUR ANCESTORS |
tonychristopher:your case is sorry, so its Goodluck that brought DSTV into Nigeria or he's in charge of the regulatory agencies ? You're the type that will fail English in WAEC and blame your biology teacher instead for not teaching you the English well. The source of this problem is the inept NBC |
Jesusloveyou:yeah whatever |
Dee60:thank you very much, you have sense. Nigerians have forgotten so quickly about HITV and how he crumbled his business (allegedly with lavish expenses) within just a very few years. We Nigerians are not serious with business and our regulators also are not serious with business and protecting us. Maybe its because of the kickbacks they receive from the foreigners |
tonychristopher:where do I even want to start in replying you sef because you've started out as a tribal bigot. YES I'm a proud Ijaw man lets get that out of the way so if I think like my people, it's my own prerogative. If you utilized your thinking facility you would have deduced that placed all blame at the feet of the NBC who haven't been living up to their responsibilities. When you leave your doors open, you have no one to blame if you're robbed. Until the NBC sits up, there're other options to use. |
amtaken:I'm not an IPOB member neither am I in Borno. Thank |
These reps are just jobless. If you don't like dstv, buy startimes or cmtv nobody tied your hands or forced you. If the NBC as a regulator didn't know about or couldn't enforce industry best practices like their counterparts worldwide, who is to blame ? |
AdaNri1:it's not me wey talk or translate am ni |
